Apparently Marcus Aurelio signed a UFC contract. Can't wait to see him in the cage, he will be an instant LW title contender.

"Athletic" has become MMA slang for "black." Jason MacDonald laughs at you! In Canadian terms, "athletic" means "roided." Ask Kang. Nigga please, Jason Mac-Daddy's volleyball skills are amazing. (Is not joking, before MMA, J-Mac use to be a volleyball player, but my friend use to train with him before he went to Greg Jacksons camp).

The table match should be a good fun garbage match.

Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I'll throw down wit you. Here's some fight suggestions: Fisher/Stout II Franklin/Okami Penn/Pulver II And so that we don't hijack this thread, let's work out the details over PM or something. Who you got, Franklin or Okami? I was going to be a nice guy, but since LOTC caught feelings and has his panties in a bunch like usual, I'm hijacking this wack ass thread with reviews of horrible fights.

Too bad it's going to suck watching Edgar pound him, the way you're talking about this Bocek you might commit suidice after the fight.

Too bad it still hasn't helped out your predictions out! Boo-Yah! I still PWNS you over the Leben/Silva AV bet! EHME is undefeated in bets here, both LOTC and Lei Tong have fallen victim to the great one. Lei Tong is a man of his word, and repped his Richard Simmons AV with pride, but LOTC is a coward and backed out half way through his bet. I'm willing to put my undefeated streak on the line with anyone, name a fight. Anyway, I'm up for this. I'm expecting some good MMA DVD's in the mail the next few days, so I'll have some fights to review.

He looks like a gym beast, but I haven't heard shit about his athletic background. I'm guessing he has some sort of boxing background, because he calls himself a boxer.

If you are talking about RVD as one of the top talents, it's more to punish RVD for leaving then it is to help build up Randy Orton. But hey if you rather watch RVD/Snitsky, then boycot the WWE.

    OAO One Night Stand

Maybe from a "pure wrestling" stand point, but crowd reactions really made the PPV into a underrated classic IMO. The heat for the RVD/Cena was just too much, no crowd has ever shit on Cena this bad. Not even Toronto. When the crowd threw the shirt back at Cena, it was amazing. I enjoyed Edge/Foley Vs. Funk/Dreamer also.

    TUF VI: Welterweights

If Serra brings Trigg as a co-coach, it'd be cool if Hughes brought Shonie Carter in as a special coach. Carter and Hughes go back.

Funny thing is Trigg would look like an idiot smack talking Matt Hughes, because Hughes pwned twice.

He can easily pass for in his late 20's, he looks in freak physical shape, he is jacked the fuck up. If he stays in shape and doesn't run into injurys he can have a pretty long MMA career, despite his age. And he isn't a rookie, he's been in MMA since 2001 despite his lack of MMA fights. He looks like he can go for a good 7 years.

He earned it. Relative to the other guys in the division perhaps, but wins over Jordan (a late replacement journeyman), Varner (whom he was actually losing to) and Fisher aren't exactly the type to stand-out in a division like LW. Spencer Fisher was labeled as a top contender in the divison, and Franca dominated him. And Varner is a really good fighter with the potential, and I thought the fight was 1-1 going into the 3rd round.

It's called counter punching, and taking advantage of Liddell's mistake/miscalculation. On sherdog.com they have an interview with Chuck's trainer, and he was hesitant to say it, but he went ahead and said that he specifically told Chuck not to go to the body from the outside, because it left him wide open for a counter punch. Well Chuck did it anyway and paid the price... Excatly, anyone who knows basic boxing knows that was a counter punch, not a punch out of no where.

Jardine isn't a good striker really at all apart from his leg kicks. He has KO power in his hands, but he has no real technique, and is a shoulder puncher. While Alexander had really good technique, and looked like a pro boxer out there. I like to see Alexander fight a grappler his next fight. I had a lot of my homies at my crib for the fight, and everyone single person enjoyed the card.

Great news. I want to see MVP go to RAW, and have the IC champion go to SD! So I can see MVP live when RAW comes to Calgary in July 16th

Comments which don't warrant a thread

My thoughts exactly. We were just bashing DVDR for making stupid, outlandish statements, now there's people in this thread actually claiming Cena is the best worker in the world. you're buggin...John Cena is this generations Bret Hart...You should be lucky you get to see him in fact if Cena was in Bret's time I'd think Cena woulda actually be better You're delusional. While Cena is a very good worker, he is certainly not the best worker in the world, or even in the WWE. The day Cena even dreams that he is a better worker then Chris Benoit, William Regal, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker(when motivated), Ric Flair and Triple H he needs to wake up and apologize. Those guys have built careers on classic matches, Cena so far has been carried by better workers then him for most of his career, and hasn't until recently became a great individual worker. I don't mind Cena, I find his character right now extremely stale and bland, but as a worker I enjoy his matches. I don't really know if you are being sarcastic with your statement, but the fact you said Cena would be better then Bret in anyway shape or form, is just plain comedy.

Maybe if this was another grappler with bad stand up, then yes you would be right. But Rampage would be a very good bet for this fight, because he has the right style and tools to defeat Chuck. Chuck has improved since their 1st fights, but I still feel his stand up hasn't been tested since he fought Vernon White(who is nothing to be bragging about). Tito's and Babalu's stand up is crap, Couture isn't an idiot on his feet but striking certainly isn't his strength. I think Rampage gots this, I really believe it's his fight to lose.
