TOAO The Wire Season 4 Thread

We're talking about the best show on TV in this thread, not that broke ass Bruce Willis wannabe. The Strike Team would run a train on the police force on the Wire. Vic Mackey would kick Herc and Carver's ass by himself. And then John Kavanaugh would get cases on all of them.

Yeah he did, but Booker T played just as big if not more, in getting Lashley over.

    NFL - Week One.

Culpepper was playing with a bad line on Thursday night and was constantly being rushed to throw the ball, and was playing against a better defense, but was still able to make much better desicions then Brooks, until the final 5 miniutes of the 4th quarter. Culpepper in a Raiders uniform would be alot better then Aaron Brooks in a Raiders uniform. Be real.

Booker isn't a great worker no more. He's decent and capable of a good match from time to time, but he's not the wrestler he use to be years ago. Not nearly as athletic. But I'm sure him and Benoit could put on some good matches, their match at No Way Out this year was pretty damn good.

I'm not saying Randy Moss isn't a Pro Bowl WR, I just don't think he is in his prime no more. Even if he's playing in a bad offense. He's not the same Randy Moss, I grew up watching and wanting to be like. He could still be a great player on another team, but he's not as fresh as he was a few years ago on the Vikes team. And this is coming from a big Randy Moss fan. And I don't think the Raiders should've drafted a young QB, they are tons of capable QB's they could've got the last few years in free agency. They should've used the draft picks to spice up their defense. I thought Huff was a great pick, because he will be a pro bowl safety in the years to come. The year they drafted that bum Gallery, they should've gotten Sean Taylor. Randy Moss had his best years stat-wise with Daunte Culpepper. You don't think he would give a leg right now to play with him again in Miami?

It's because he's a fresh face, give him a few more weeks and he will be boring.

Let's be real, Moss isn't in his prime no more. Too many injurys caught up with him. Can he still be a threat and a pro bowl WR? You damn right, but he certainly ain't the Moss I remember from the Vikings. People like to mention how bad Culpepper is without Moss, how about Moss without Culpepper? They needed each other.

I thought he was going to try and beat a bunch of cab drivers, bartenders, and police officers and rack up over 80 wins before stepping up in compition like his daddy.

There are a few guys from TUF I think have championship potential, like Josh Koscheck, Michael Bisping, Kalib Starnes, Rashad Evans, Forrest Griffin, Melvin Gulliard, and a few others. Melvin gets his ass stomped in by Fisher, Stout, Florian, Sherk, Franca and Edwards any day of the week. Kalib? I like the dude but he's got a long, long, long way to go before he'd even be a contender. I'm not so sure about that. Melvin is an athletic beast, I could see him beating any of those guys with the right training and motivation. He has potential. I'm not saying Kalib is ready now, I said he has potential. Your ignoring that point.

Whatever, I don't need to Barnett lovefest to run wild. I could careless how you guys scored the fight, I'm just saying I had Nog winning the fight the 1st time I watched it. I worded it wrong, I'm not really complaining at the desicion at all because it was a close fight. I can understand why the majority of people had Barnett winning. But man, was Cro Cop intense tonight. He killed it with the LNK. Man, I don't know if Silva is going to be the same fighter after that ass whooping, and isn't he suppose to fight Arona next to? Arona I think will beat him.

And? The Eagles looked pretty good this week. It's not a guaranteed victory or anything. Not by a long shot. they played the Texans... that's like saying Nebraska could beat USC because they hung 100 points on two weak squads... Either way, to say somthing like "atleast they play the Eagles" is seriously overlooking the Eagles, and proves you lack any real football knowledge of this year. But then again Paul is a moron in total, so I don't take what he says seriously. It might've been the Texans, but they still looked great excuting their offensive plays and McNabb's fake hand-offs to the RB looked great. They actually ran the ball alot more(NoCalMike can finally shut up about the Eagles passing for 70% of the time), and Donte Stallworth looks to be comfortable in the offensive system. Playing the Eagles is not a guarenteed win, and them winning the divison would not be a shocker. Atleast to me anyway. You can't really be excited about playing them as you are with the Niners, Texans, Packers etc.
