Chuck's got to fight Babalu towards the end of August, so it's pretty much even... If Chuck is looking past Babalu, for Silva, he's going to get beat end of story.

I knew someone was going to bitch at the Ortiz/Shamrock stoppage. All of those elbows landed clean, just look at the fucking slow motion replay. Even Courture, who isn't excatly the biggest Tito fan, said it was a good stoppage. Shamrock did nothing to defend himself. Sylvia won, and will likely destroy Monson. All I'm going to say is... SILVA VS. LIDDELL NOVEMBER.... if Chuck isn't looking past Babalu!

I don't hate or dislike Chuck at all. I just think he's overrated. I wouldn't be suprised if Chuck wins, but I think Babalu is getting slept on and he will pull off the upset. I knew Chuck was going to beat Randy, but wanted Randy to win.

Of course he has a chance, anyone who doesn't will be in for a suprise. He's much improved since the 1st Chuck fight. Infact I'm picking him to beat Chuck in a upset.

Agreed, he was the best pound for pound boxer, but he never made as big of impact on the sport of boxing like the famous heavyweight boxers have. Joe Louis, Muhammad Ali, Jack Dempsey, Jack Johnson had the biggest impact on boxing, in my opinion, any of those 4 should be the representive of boxing.

At one point you could consider him in the elite class... But I think Coleman's gameplaning wasn't really helping him because he had the athletic ability to do more then just G+P. I'm a Randleman stan so of course I'm biased. But yeah I agree about his mental ability, but the man has had a harder life then most would imagine, he's a warrior and is a class act, you can't help but respect him.

With that said... I think Kevin Randleman would've been a better fighter had he not been with Hammer House. Bas Rutten once said he asked Randleman to come and let him train him so he could reach his real potential, but Randleman choose not to, because he is loyal to Hammer House.

I'm a big fan of most of the people you mentioned but just felt like pointing out some funny stats. I still can't believe that GSP didn't realize the clock only had 1 second left on it or he would have probably been champ back then. I also hope he beats the piss out of Hughes who is my second least favorite UFC fighter of all time behind only his last opponent, Royce Gracie. The Emmy's are a fucking fraud! Forrest Whitaker got fucked over badly, he was the best actor on TV all year. He's acting of John Kavanaugh was just amazing. Babalu is a much better fighter this time around, if you don't give him a shot this time, your going to be in for a suprise. No way they put Anderson Silva in this fight, they just had him fight Chris Leben and look like the strongest contender for Franklin's title... Why would they want to risk it and have him fight pretty much a month later? It makes no sense. I heard about the Loiseau Vs. Swick fight, should be good, I favor Loiseau because he's more of a polished fighter then Swick.
