Man after watching some episodes of TUF1 today, I just look back and laugh at Chris now. Thank you Anderson Silva!

I'm willing to bet the house, A.I. won't go to Boston. Golden State is offering Baron Davis(Top 5 PG in the NBA) + others for A.I. I expect King to do this.
-
Steve Blake, with Jarret Jack backing him up, same as it was this year. Sebastian Telfair was the third string PG. Giving him up means nothing in the scheme of things. Hopefully he'll thrive in Boston, but they seem to have a logjam at the point with West, Telfair and Rondo, not to mention that AI is likely coming to town. I forgot about Jarret Jack, I always thought this kid had a bright future. I don't see A.I. getting traded to Boston though, despite the rumors. I see A.I. going to Golden State for Baron Davis + others.

So who's going to run the point guard position for Portland next year?
-
Not alot of people were expecting Loiseau to beat Franklin though. Alot of them were just saying, "Loiseau *could* drop and elbow and cut Franklin bad". Even before this fight, people were saying Silva could beat Franklin.

Ultimate Fighter Season 4 the thread...
Lt. Al Giardello replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Yeah. I know what you mean, Nick Diaz was the fighter I was most looking foward to, seeing in this upcoming season. But Shonie Carter will still be entertaining. I haven't decided on my prediction for the Welterweight divison, but I'm picking Patrick Cote to take the middleweight divison. -
Yeah, I'm not trying to say you were implying that we should get him. But the chances of him coming to Calgary are slim to none, unless he wants a huge pay cut(I'm talking leauge min). We need players that will help our offense. Last year Sutter took a chance on Amonte, and he got praise for it until the season started, and we saw that he isn't going to cut it in the NHL.

Ultimate Fighter Season 4 the thread...

Wrong. There is no coaches. They are advisors this season. There are no "Teams" this season. -
We already have an past his prime US player on our roster in Amonte, we don't need another one.

Dana White announced the fighters for TUF4.

Leben didn't have time to shoot Rich Franklin was problay thinking "Oh fuck! Why did Dana have to sign this guy?!?!?!?!" I sent your avi in the PM, I expect you to rock it soon. WOOOOOOOOOO!

BJ Penn would dissagree with you. -
Not everyone has Insider, so if you can, please post it.

I'm looking foward to the cage match.
-
If Tom B gets in, and Mike Vernon, doesn't I'll be livid. Pavel Bure should get in no doubt, he was a beast. Imagine him in his prime playing in the new NHL.
-
Yeah so did Brad Imes, and he was much taller then Bonnar. But either way, I think Rashad could pose alot of problems for Bonnar. I'm very interested in this fight. Rashad dropped down to LHW, because he was too small, but in his last 2 fights, this one and the one with Hoger he fought fighters who are naturally bigger then him. Poor guy.

Silva's going to win this by this cuts. Just watch. Even Leben said it himself, he's got paper skin. I like Leben, and wouldn't care if he won, but I think Silva's got this on lock down. Loser choses the others avi for 2 weeks. And no Lord Of The Children, I don't post here on the sole purpose of making avi bet's, but it just makes things more interesting. Your still 0-1 against me.

Lee Murray also taped out Jorge Rivera in less then 2 min's, but he's problay best known to MMA fans, for knocking out Tito Ortiz outside the club. Either way, alot of MMA fans from my understanding thought he was a Top 10 MW at the time. If you think Leben has all the tools to beat Silva, care to put down a friendly board wager? Avater bet or somthing small?
-
People are not as sold as Anderson Silva but the majority of MMA fans think Anderson Silva is going to take this one. Anderson Silva have beaten much better fighters then Leben, like Lee Murray, Jeremy Horn, Carlos Newton. Lei Tong from what I've seen is an Anderson Silva hater. I think Silva take's it easy, he's has all the right tools to beat Leben, based on the Luigi, Ken-Flo, and Patrick Cote fights. And by the way, despite what you think Lei Tong, Leben is not going to lay and pray with Silva. He bashes Koscheck for it, why would he do it? He wants to give the fans a fun fight.
-
Leben has a very strong chin, but I don't think he's faced a great striker like Anderson Silva or has enough submission skills to beat him. Anderson Silva beaten much better submission artist like Jeremy Horn and beat them. This is Leben's toughest test, and I'm got my money Silva by TKO Cuts or UD.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread
Lt. Al Giardello replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
I always liked Yvel, even before I became a huge MMA fan. Just off watching his highlight reel, you can't help but cheer him on because of his entertaining style. I just love how he throws his knees. But now that I have became a MMA fan, and learnt more about him, and him being a headcase, makes me understand why people dislike him. But still I love to watch him fight, because most of the time it's entertaining either way(IF he get's KO'd or KO's someone). -
