Yeah Edmonton is a dirty city. The air there is disgusting. Calgary >>>>> Edmonton anyday of the week. With that said where will Pronger go? St. Louis is the most likely candidate, but I could see him going to LA Kings.

No Running Game and/or Commitment to the running game. Even when the Eagles COULD run the ball, Andy Reid didn't seem to like to do it very much. The Defense in the NFC East is going to be too tough on one-dimensional offenses. I can only imagine what it will look like when McNabb is forced to call 20 playaction passes in a row, as the defenses stop biting on it after the 3rd attempt. Actually Reid has already said he will be commited to rushing the ball more, to relieve stress off his new WR core. Westbrook and Moats is a good RB core, and would cause problems for alot of defense. Coming off a serious injury, I except the smart IQ of Andy Reid to relieve stress off McNabb and allow the runningbacks to do some work for him so he can be the old McNabb. I won't deny, Duce Staley's running had alot to do with McNabb's success. Andy Reid knows this. Redskins yes have added some offensive weapons to their attack. But in order to be an actual "Superbowl" winning team, they need to just let Burnell go, and let the new gun, Jason Campbell take them to it. I know Brunell is going to get injury, and Campbell will have to step in and prove he's better then oldflolk Mark. Randle El was the Steelers 3rd string WR, and Lloyd while made some nice catches, isn't a smart WR at all. Eagles will win the divison, and McNabb and Jim Johnson's defense will lead them there.

Eagles are taking the NFC East. They had the best draft selecting this year(Brodick and Winston are going to help us out big time filling needs that we need, Bloom could develop into a good KR, and Avant could be a sleeper). Yes one of the main reasons that I'm picking the Eagles, is because they are my team. But everyone in this thread has done the same. Howard and Gaffney were good signings aswell. But I think the main the thing that will help us out is that Donovan McNabb is healthy. Everyone mentions we don't have a big name WR, but we went to the NFC Divison Championship 4 straight years without a big name WR(T.O. got injured in his 1st season and McNabb lifted his team to the Superbowl). Last year also showed the potential of Reggie Brown and Ryan Moats. Those guys will be key players next year. People are sleeping on Reggie Brown, he will be our #1 WR most likely. Ryan Moats will most likely serve as a 3rd down/Short yardage RB. GO EAGLES GO!

Well considering it's coming from Sportsnet, it is a very reliable source. Edmonton will be fucked if Pronger goes. He was problay their emotional leader.

This is exactly the same way I feel about the Packers, except people are writing them off much worse. With the cupcake schedule, an improved defense, and Favre still around, I'm sticking to them finishing at least at .500, just like Philly. I have big time troubles seeing the Packers finish .500, this year. Farve is getting to old and the reciever core is not good enough for him, maybe if this was 30 year old Brett Farve this team would be a playoff team, but Brett Farve can't make his WR's better then they are anymore. He needs the help, bad mouthing his best WR on the team didn't help either. I think the Vikings, Bears, and Lions made the improvements on their teams to be better then the Packers. Vikes lost their star QB, defense is old, and still haven't found an adequate replacement for Randy Moss. The Bears traditionally shit the bed after they make a great run (and they may have a few too many questions on offense still to be the best), and the Lions are still the Lions. Green Bay severely underachieved last year, but with the schedule and all the injuries, plus The Sherm playing for OT all the time when they could go for the win led to a ridiculous amount of close games lost. I don't think we'll see that as much with the more aggressive (supposedly) Mike McCarthy. It's the NFL, after all, anything can happen. The lost their star QB last year and didn't have Moss either and still did decent. And now they made improvements to the offense by adding Hutchinson and Richardson. The Lions are making great strides for their future by hiring Mike Martz and Donnie Henderson. And now they finally got a decent QB for their young WR Core. Packers big free agent signing was Charles Woodson who problay will play 5 games for them.

Luger Shoots on WWE and ECW
Lt. Al Giardello replied to milliondollarchamp's topic in The WWE Folder
Luger was a overrated steroid up no charisma having bum anyway. Any good match he ever had he was carried. Dude is a drug addict now, and you except anyone to take him serious? Luger = The new Warrior. Watch he will have tons of rants going off about absolutely nothing. -
Phanuef >>>>>>>>>>>>> Crosby

Biggest Money Fights for the UFC???
Lt. Al Giardello replied to Lt. Al Giardello's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Those are really the only big money fights in the HW divison, unless Vera decides to stay in the HW divison. Seriously I think Vera is a big thread to Liddell if he goes down. -
Of course, Larry Brown is a HOF coach. But I don't think he can relate to the new generation of players anymore unless they respect him right away. He had a team full of players who were already one of the best teams in the East(And then getting Rasheed at trade deadline), but how can we forget the A.I./Brown saga. I respect Brown, but he is just too old for it now. He should just retire, I think it's best for him, mainly because of his health.
-
I'm not arguing the fact that Carlisle is a better coach then Thomas. What I'm saying is Thomas is great at relating to players, and is part of the reason why Jermaine O'Neal is a success(Jermaine has admit this also). So maybe he will be able to work with the team. Which is unlikely, but the main reason why the Knicks lost was because they didn't listen to Larry Brown. Isiah is better at relating to players then Brown, and the team would listen to him more then they would Isiah.

Jacksonville I think will take the divison this year. They drafted good weapons for Leftwich, also Reggie Williams and Matt Jones are coming along fine. Jimmy Smith was a HOF player, but I think it's good for the Jaguars because now they can develop their team more. I think Drew will be a good NFL RB, and that he got slept on big time in the Draft.
-
One thing I'll say is Isiah can relate to players better then Brown can. Isiah had a big part in Jermaine O'Neal turning into a 20-10 player, even Jermaine will tell you that. Isiah got a raw-deal when Larry Bird came to helm. But he surely did build a train wreck in NY. But atleast he tried. He brought in talented players, which is more then Scott Layden ever did.

Considering they fill all their big needs(Minus the big name WR), I think the Eagles will be back in their winning ways. McNabb is healthy(He played all of his games last season injured) and now they don't have to put up with the headache Terrell Owens, and continue to develop Reggie Brown. Eagles had an amazing draft. Dallas I think will flop big time. Just think, Terrell Owens couldn't work with Donovan McNabb who is a great QB and makes very rare mistakes, how is he going to work with Drew Bledsoe who, while has a stronger arm then McNabb doesn't have the desicion making and mobility of McNabb. How is Terrell going to react when Bledsoe over throws him on 3rd downs? I think this is a disaster in the making. Bill Parcells has a bigger temper then Andy Reid, and he will not put up with Terrell's bullshit. I think the Dolphins will take the AFC East this year! This is the year! With Daunte Culpepper at helm, Ronnie Brown progressing into a pro bowl type RB, and Chris Chambers finally having a good QB, the Dolphins finally have a good offense to go along with their good defense. All this time they were missing a good QB, and now if Culpepper comes back healthy, they have a Pro Bowl QB who can possibly take them to the Superbowl, if he's 100%. Nick Saban is a great young coach, and I think he will turn this team into success. Saints got underrated big time. Even with Drew Brees shoulder surgey, he has shown on the Chargers, he is a good desicion maker who makes rare mistakes. I really think the Saints will be a sleeper. They got a ton of talent on offense for Sean Payton to work with.

So is anyone giving Rashad Evans a chance against Bonnar? One thing that will help out Evans, is that he trains with Keith Jardine. Maybe Jardine will help him out with his leg kicks.
-
That was the funniest thing I heard in awhile.
-
Well I think Booker is problay going to go over. Either way he's problay facing Rey at GAB, and Batista is facing Mark Henry. Which is the smart thing to do.
-
What, you've never wondered why he's called "Ace"? OK, I"m gonna have to ask for the 411 on that one... Rich Franklin has a very hot girlfriend, so that kills all the gay rumors. And Hioki beat Hominick after Hominick beat Edwards.
-
Felonies! is played by Pauly Shore or Carrot Top.
-
I wonder how Rich Franklin feels comfortable training with him... Seriously though I think Hominick Vs. Gurgel would be a good fight, and I hope it makes the air. From what I heard Gurgel is actually a good LW fighter. Should make for an interesting fight.

Why give them a new name? Most WWE fans will know them as Team Angle, so just give them that name.

Playoffs start on thursday. GO FLAMES GO!

Minnesota's going to want both RJ and Kristic, not VC. That's the point. Carter/KG/Kidd is good enough to win the division, but I don't think Kidd will have enough to make a deep push in the East especially if Miami's well rested and ready to defend that title. My guess is you haven't heard the recent rumors of Minnesota willing to take Carter + fillers.
-
Who would you rather have on your team, Kevin Garnett or Vince Carter/Jefferson? No way Jersey trades both of them, and no way would Minnesota be stupid enough to ask for both of them. Like I said they wouldn't be able to trade off Both of them for KG because cap's salary don't match up. I can see Minnesota looking to get Kristic in return if they want to trade Jefferson but not Carter. Losing Carter and getting KG in return would be fine. Having Jefferson as your leading scorer would be fine. He was their best scorer during the K-Mart/Jefferson/Kidd trio. Still, a team with KG/Kristic/Jefferson/Kidd would be a force to reckon with in the East. Honestly though I think it's time to get rid of Lawerence Frank. He's a good young coach and has a bright future, but I can't see the Nets taking the East with him as coach.
