Ultimate Fight Night IV lineup so far
Lt. Al Giardello replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Boring fight. I really want to see Mike Swick Vs. Chris Lebien 2 already, I think Swick could take him out. -
Next year. Him, Ricky Steamboat, Arn Anderson, Ted Dibasie should all get in. Is Andre The Giant in it yet?

How would you rebuild the WWE tag division?
Lt. Al Giardello replied to benn's topic in The WWE Folder
Goldust is currently teaming with Snitsky in the latest "odd couple" tag team. Also, The T's are good enough on their own and Booker, should have an extended heel run. The occasional scene together is fine (such as WMXXII) because it's more meaningful that way. There's also a few examples of singles wrestlers being slapped together and being an excellent tag team with success. You don't have to limit them to comedy. Booker T has been treated like a joke, even when he had the US title. Goldust could help ressurect his career like he did in 02. Goldust and Snitsky is certainly an interesting tag team, but Booker/Goldust were actually a good tag team on the wrestling side of things. They could have some very good tag team matches Vs. MNM. -
I have no problems with that moron being removed. Was on the iggy list. But, EHME remains. Blah. Anglesault gone too? I didn't notice him doing anything bad lately... He should be banned, if only because he keeps making inaccurate accusations and attaching things to people, that aren't true at all. Yeah I made a mistake, but I also apologized for it like a man.

You do realise that very move in a pro wrestling match is a spot right? Yes, but we are talking about RVD like spots. -

The only time when you slap 2 wrestlers together and have them work as a tag team is if they are funny. Like Head Cheese and Booker T/Goldust. Speaking of Booker T/Goldust, since they are doing nothing with Goldust on RAW, they should really switch him over to SD! and have him reunite with Booker. Them Vs. MNM could be a very good fued. -

You guys keep saying this. Go watch his tag team matches with WGTT Vs. Los Guerrero or that Benoit match I suggested. Rheir weren't too many spots there. To compare Benjamin to Sabu is complete bullshit. Give Benjamin a good technical wrestler, and he will put on a good mat wrestling match. You are citing matches from a few years ago. What's a recent match that he's shown his fantastic mat skills in ? None, that's my point. The WWE have him resorting to spot wrestling, I'm just trying to defend Benjamin saying he can do more then just spot wrestling. -
I was just looking for an excuse, I'm just a bitter Eagles fan.

Yeah I agree with Hawk. You got to introduce Tag Teams, not just slap 2 wrestlers together, only rare times does it actually work. -
I looked it up, he didn't suggest that either. Try again. Yeah I was wrong, that was iggymcfly. Sorry Hawk 34.

You have to actually watch the match then just assumed. Benoit can carry a wrestler yes, but he didn't carry Benjamin. It was a mat wrestling match, and it was heavily praised by the fans on the net at the time, infact everyone wanted to see Benjamin/Benoit fued, but of course Benoit switched to Smackdown. And no, Benjamin was not overhadow by everyone else in his WGTT. He was a better worker then Haas. But whatever your entitled to your opinion. He is resorted to spot wrestling, because thats what the WWE wants from him. -
I'm the troll, yet go my post in the WWE forum about Shelton Benjamin and tell me who's following me and trolling me? The pot calling the kettle black, Leena. Ever heard of that saying?

They have to do that in order to make the Cowboys a hot team, since they are in the same divison.

Shelton has displayed his mat wrestling ability, like I said go watch his match with Benoit the few RAW's before WM21. Benjamin more then held his own with Benoit on the mat. Although it was short, it was a very good *** match. Even go back to his WGTT/Team Angle days, where he mostly was a mat wrestler, and had many good mat wrestling exchanges with both Chavo Guerrero and Eddie Guerrero. Benjamin has had good matches without a ladder. His match Vs. Orton, at Bad Blood 04 was a very good match, his matches with Christian were very good, his matches with Jericho were very good, his 1st match on RAW with HHH was very good and told a great story, he carried Carlito to problay his best singles match of his career. -
Joseph Addai I think is going to be a sleeper pick in the draft. He could be a franchise RB. But in all likelyhood in the real draft the Colts will get one of the 4 1st round RB's. I doubt the Ravens will draft a RB in the 1st round, espically since they resigned Jamal Lewis and signed Mike Anderson

As a former amatuer wrestler, I think I know what's good mat wrestling. You're treading some dangerous waters, that is, getting owned in the thread you started. And if you think WWE has good mat wrestling, then yes, you don't know good mat wrestling. No, I don't think WWE has good mat wrestling. But they have had good mat wrestling in the past. Benjamin/Benoit was good mat wrestling, Angle/Benoit RR03 was a mat wrestling classic. -
