    2006 NFL Off-Season

Fritzgerald and Boldin are not boring. Put a good runningback on that team, and a franchise qb like Culpepper and you got a high powered offense. Speaking of Culpepper, I'm hearing rumors he might go to the Oakland Raiders to reunite with Randy Moss. If that's true, Raiders are going to rip shit and make the playoffs. Most teams would be in the hunt with a decent back and a franchise QB. They key is getting both of those, and until the Cardinals do, they aren't fun to watch. Agreed, but Cardinals are in the postion to draft either a runningback(DeAngelo Williams) or a QB(Possibly Jay Cutler), and they are also teams looking to get rid of runningbacks(Jamal Lewis, Preist Holmes, Dominick Davis, possibly Curtis Martin), and of course the 2 valuable free agents(Edgerrin James and Shaun Alexander). I bet you David Garrard is problay going to want out of Jacksonville, after proving he can be a good starting quarterback who can win games, and wants to go somewhere where he can start.

The New Way in The NFL?

Bill Beliechuk(Spelling?) also barely did any play calling for years in New England, when Romeo Crennal and Charlie Weis were his coordinators.

    Smackdown spoilers for 1/27/06

Doesn't sound like a great smackdown, but most Smackdowns before PPV's suck. No Lashley on the show means I can skip Smackdown for this week, but then again I wanna see Angle Vs. MNM.

    Mayweather vs. Judah

Floyd Vs. Hatton IS the fight the public wants to see, and problay will happen in the fall. But in all honesty, I'd rather see Floyd fight Judah, then some tomato can like another Gatti or Mitchell.

    Mayweather vs. Judah

Are you suggesting Mayweather Vs. Pac-Man? That would just be an massacare. Floyd is too fast, too skilled, and is pretty much an natural lightwelterweight now so that makes him to big. That fight would be more lopsided then Judah-Mayweather. Miguel Cotto aint ready for Floyd yet, give him a few more fights, Castillo-Floyd already happen twice, 1st fight was close, but Floyd already proved he was the better fighter the 2nd fight.

    Favorite Moments in Sports

Good - 4th and 26, McNabb completes a 27 yard pass to Freddie Mitchell and lead his team to victory over the Green Bay Packers to advance to the NFC Championship. Eagles beating the Falcons to finally advance to the superbowl. Jason Kidd's last second shot againest the Pistons to take Game 1 in the 2003 Eastern Confrence Finals. Bernard Hopkins knocking out Felix Trinidad Antonio Tarver 1st fight againest Roy Jones, when everyone thought Roy Jones was gonna kill him, and Tarver at the end of the fight having the crowd chant his name, and Roy Jones looking like a beaten fighter, although Tarver didnt offically win the fight, many thought he should of. Tarver's "What's your excuse gonna be now" quote to Roy Jones, in the middle of the ring, then in the 2nd fight knocking him out. Diego Corrales-Jose Luis Castillo WAR! Calgary's run to the stanley cup in 2004, the most partying I've ever done in my life. BAD - Eagles getting beat by the Rams, Bucs, and the Panthers in the NFC Championship 3 straight years Eagles losing to the Pats in the Superbowl last year Terrell Owens saga Nets losing back to back NBA Finals Hopkins losing to Jermain Taylor twice(I had Hops winning both fights, but the fights could of gone either way). Flames getting robbed in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals, to this day I'm still pissed.

*SPOILER* No Way Out Main Event Revealed

We all know Taker aint taping to the Ankle Lock... So how will Angle beat him cleanly? Has Taker ever tapped out in his career?

    Mayweather vs. Judah

Judah took Baldomir too lighty, he wont make the mistake againest Floyd. Look at his 2 fights with Cory Spinks, 1st fight Judah took Spinks lightly and lost a desicion, 2nd fight he dominated Spinks. I still think Floyd knocks him out though. But I will say this, I'd rather this fight then another Floyd againest a tomato can. Floyd Vs. Hatton wont happen until the fall, because Hatton wants a tune up, so I'm all for this fight.

    Morales-Paquiao 2

Morales is gonna win like he did last time, unless Manny can catch Morales with a shot from god, because Morales has never been KO'd in his career or unless Morales still hasen't recovered mentally from the boxing lession he recieved from Zahir Raheem. Manny is just too 1 demensional, and relys on his power and brawling skills too much. Last fight Morales won fairly easy although it was a good fight.

alkeiper can you do a keiper list or whatever its called for Larry Walker?
  19. Lt. Al Giardello

    Top Twenty Heavyweights

Michael Spinks and Roy Jones Jr should crack that list just based on historic value, moving from Lightheavyweight to Heavyweight and beating a World Champion is one of the toughest things you can do in not just boxing, but sports period. Although they didn't beat anyone else, I would still put them on there just for accomplishment. I would put Holyfield #1 problay, and I rank Tyson over Lewis to, but really it doesn't matter what order you put them in because you could make an arguement either way. But looking at that list it just shows you how sad the heavyweight divison in the modern era was. Just plain pathetic, do a list from 1965-1985 and the top 10 would be filled with hall of fame fighters... just for fun I'd thought I will do a top 10. 1. Muhammad Ali/Cassius Clay 2. Larry Holmes 3. George Foreman 4. Joe Frazier 5. Ken Norton 6. Jimmy Young 7. Sonny Liston 8. Jimmy Elis 9. Floyd Patterson 10. Jerry Quarry Honorable Mention: Gerry Cooney, George Chuvalo, Buster Mathis, Ron Lyle, Earnie Shavers, Carl Williams, Tim Witherspoon, Oscar Bonavena Most of those fighters are in the hall of fame

  21. Normally I look foward to Wrestlemania, as it is the best wrestling event of the year. Last year was a great Wrestlemania, it had fresh fueds(Batista/HHH, Cena/JBL, Orton/Taker, and Angle/HBK), and the Money in the Bank match. I couldn't wait for Wrestlemania. This year though, I don't like the path they are going. Pretty much all Wrestlemania's had a heel champion going in to Wrestlemania to get defeated by the top face. This year they have 2 of the top face's going into Wrestlemania facing the top heel. It just seems it is another PPV, it doesn't have the Wrestlemania feeling to it. Now I don't dissagree with Batista going in as champion, as his character is not stale, or boring and is still getting huge reactions, but going on to face Randy Orton, espically after the Undertaker kicked his ass is going to be stupid. Now if he beat the Undertaker, it would be a different story because he would have that rub of "killing" the legend of the Undertaker, but he has no rub like that. And now he is favored to win the Royal Rumble. What the fuck is this? I competely don't understand their booking. Despite what the smart's think, Undertaker Vs. Batista is big money match and would draw good ratings, it might suck wrestling wise but so would Batista Vs. Orton. Atleast with Taker Vs. Batista it's a fresh feud and it would be a good way to get Friday Smackdown better ratings. Now onto RAW, honestly despite what most think John Cena is stale as hell. His promo's are pretty much the same with his stupid homosexual jokes. The fans are starting to backlash againest him STILL(Watch this past RAW with him Vs. Angle which was very mixed crowd, and look at the signs in the crowd alot of them were going against Cena). The best thing would be is too take the title off of Cena, unless they are going to turn him heel which would be good. Their are many possible matches I would do other than HHH Vs. Cena(Which would be a much better fued with HHH as champion and Cena hunting for the title), I think a HHH Vs. Cena Vs. Angle triple threat could be good, or Angle Vs. HBK, with Angle as champion to finally blow off their great fued which guarrentee to be a **** match. And please for the love of god, if they are not going to have Austin Vs. Hogan, just leave Hogan off the card. No one wants to see Hogan Vs. Show, Angle or anyone else. It already happened, and having those wrestlers job to Hogan does nothing to help the company. The way it is going this Wrestlemania will be up there with 13 and 9.

    NFL Conference Championships

Jake Delhomme is a star? At least Seattle can pimp the MVP status on their team. What's marketable about Carolina? A WR that is generally 5th or 6th mentioned in regards to WR's (not neccesarily talent wise mind you). That's a joke right? Steve Smith during and after the regular season was regarded as one of, if not the best WR in the NFL. He had the stats to prove it also.
