What brought this on? Mir and his team disrespecting Nogueira in the most recent episode. I started watching MMA in 2003 and Mir was a nobody then and he's a mediocre fighter right now. He's been living off that victory over Sylvia for four god damn years. He doesn't deserve the shot at Nogueira at all. Who should get the title shot instead? I have no clue. He still doesn't deserve it. It's insane that some people think he even has a shot at beating Nogueira. Still no need to wish death upon someone, that's very petty. You make it sound like Mir raped your mother.

Vera has showed me nothing since he has come back, except he can make every excuse in the book for his bad performances. The best way to beat Jardine is to go at him straight from the get-go, like Wanderlei and Houston Alexander did... Vera isn't that kind of striker, he's a techncial striker who likes to set up his shots, which gives Jardine a great chance to win. I'm sure Greg Jackson has come up with a great gameplan to get Jardine ready to beat Vera, and I'm predicting Jardine will win by UD.

Can't bitch about Koscheck/Alves though, it has potential to be fireworks as well.

On the plus side... Josh Koscheck is going to replace him. Even though Sanchez/Alves was a great match up, Koscheck is a GREAT replacement.

Dana already said the winner of this fight is the #1 contender. And as far as Sherk/Griffin, I don't think Sherk is that much bigger... Griffin walks around at 180lbs. I think Randy will have a good gameplan for Tyson, and will try to defend Sherks takedowns at keep it standing. Hell who knows maybe Sherk will want to keep the fighting standing as well, and test Tyson's standup.

I just bought a pair of brass knuckles over the weekend, my 1st pair. Always wanted some just for the fuck of it, I know I'll never use it... But it's still cool to own. I have a very large sword collection, I would say I have well over $3000 worth of swords... I started collecting them when I was in junior high. I have a lot of knives(including a shitload of throwing knives) aswell. I also have a baseball bat with a bunch of nails sticking out of it, I made it in high school... It'll fuck a nigga up quick.

Thats pretty much like saying lay and praying makes a boxing fan turn off an MMA fight immediately. I don't know how many boxing matches you've watched, but not all of the fights are always clinching matches.

Becuase they don't understand the science of it, and they think it's boring because it's only one aspect of MMA. I grew up watching boxing my whole life, trained boxing for nearly half my life, and I will never stop watching boxing. But when it comes down to it now, and if theres a huge boxing card and a huge MMA card on the same night, I would choose MMA.

For real? Why the rematch so soon? I would rather see Joshua Clottey get his rematch against Margarito.
