After the bell he pointed and laughed at Herring... I don't think it's as big of a deal as some people are making it out to be. Herring and his camp were talking a lot of shit before the fight. If Lesnar wasn't a former pro wrestler, it wouldn't be made such a big deal.

It should be noted that he lost to Leben by controverisal desicion... Even though I don't think Cote will beat Silva, he is a more improved fighter then he was when he fought Lutter and Leben. -

UFC 90 poster, via from Patrick Cote's facebook... That staredown makes Cote looked scared shitless, and Anderson with that "I'm going to kill you" look and stance. -
BJ Penn should keep the fight standing... I think he has a clear advantage in the striking department against GSP. Fitch stuffed a few of GSP's takedowns in their fight which makes me think BJ can stuff some of GSP's takedowns, because Fitch has pretty shitty takedown defense, and BJ is known for his takedown defense. BJ needs to turn the fight into a brawl like he did in the 1st round of their 1st fight.

Proof?

Just curious, did you post at Allhiphop.com?

It's been years since I've actually seen the match, but from what I remember Booker T was the only busting his ass making the match worthwhile. This was HHH in his "I don't have to bust my ass" stage, remember?

Not going to happen... Stop living in a dreamworld. Yes, sir. Anyway, he has left the organization in the past and nobody thought Randy was going to leave either. BJ Penn made $250k his last fight against Sherk, he has no legit reason to leave... Plus the UFC has done a great job marketing BJ, and has built a really great fanbase around him here in America. Randy left, but how is that working for him now? He hasn't fought over over a year, courts ruled in favor for Zuffa, and now Randy is now even considering fighting Nogueria and has stated if he wishes he can fight Fedor in the UFC. -
Those matches were spectacular? Hell, out of those guys, I think Nash had the best match with him. The match with Booker at WM was sad and embarrassing, while the match against Goldberg at Unforgiven had no momentum since Goldberg should have won at SS, and the match with Steiner at the Rumble was one of the worst matches of all time. I don't really think HHH was trying to make just WCW guys look bad, I think he tried to make everyone look bad, such as RVD and Kane. I think it looked like he was only trying to bury WCW guys because Vince signed a lot of those guys in that time period, and wanted to main event them, but HHH obviously wasn't going to put them over. What are you talking about? Booker T carried Triple H to a pretty solid match at Wrestlemania...

If the UFC signs anyone of those fighters, I'll change my mind... But at 170, there are more valid fighters who are not in the up and coming stage who can give BJ a challenge. Therefore the best option for him right now is the welterweight division. In the UFC's current LW division, he is head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. -
But the problem is, who do they give to Lesnar? The HW division is pretty much shitty, and they don't want to give Brock, Cain Velasquez or Shane Carwin so early, when those could be big money fights in the future... Atleast Cheick is a named opponet.

Bloated BJ? Incase you just started watching BJ now, BJ is very comfortable at 170, hell he can go up to 185 and become a contender in that division... This is the same BJ Penn who fought Light Heavyweight contender Lyoto Machida in an open weight contest, and fought him to a close and controversial desicion. And it's clear that BJ Penn isn't the same fighter he was 2 years as well, his stand up has looked a lot better. He went from a brawler with knock out power to looking like a professional boxer. After the 3rd round in the Sherk fight BJ didn't look tired at all and looked ready to go 2 more rounds, but that wasn't the case... Why should BJ Penn stay at Lightweight? It's clear that he is head and shoulders above the division right now... He dominated and completely outclassed Joe Stevenson who is Top 5 in the Lightweight division in the UFC, he dominated Sean Sherk who was considered the #2 behind Penn in the division... Most of the fighters in the Lightweight division are all young up and comers and are not ready to face a monster like BJ Penn. Do you really want to see another Joe Stevenson beat down? -
What are you talking about? Whenever BJ is excited he always sounds like that.

Still going to hate on GSP, and think every contender in WW division can "beat his ass in the 1st round"? Your hate sure looked foolish last night... Yeah, he looked good last night. I still think if he went up against a good striker, he would get laid out. And Penn is going to murder him. I don't think Penn will "murder" him, I think he will win, but it will be a close fight.
-
Maia/MacDonald is a FOTYC for me... Great fight. Much better then I thought it was going to be.

Man I just hope to see Brock Vs. Randy, before Randy gets too old... By the way keep a look out for Jon Jones who defeated Andre Gusmao... He's only 21 and has been only fighting for about 6 months, he has loads of potential and will be a force at 205 in the future.

Here's how I have it... RD 1: GSP 10-8 RD 2: Fitch 10-9 RD 3: GSP 10-9
-
10-8 GSP... Complete domination.
