My Write Up: My team has a mixed of hard nose players and extremely talented players. My 1st line is very interesting, you have 3 super talented players. Mario as a leader will be the "quarterback" of my team setting up two extremely talented goal scorers in Jarome Iginla and Alexander Mogilny for goal oppurtunitys, but will take a shot if he sees an opening in defense. My 2nd line is as good as most 1st lines in this draft... You have one of the most underrated players in Vincent Damphousse who was one of the top centres for years in the NHL, you have one of the greatest American players to ever play the game in Joe Mullen, and of course you have Mahovlich whom is one of the greatest Maple Leafs of all time. My 3rd and 4th lines consists of role players whom were at one point All-Stars in their career. My defense while isn't the best in the draft, is still really good. You have Larry Robinson who is one of the greatest defensemen to ever play the game, and in my opinion the greatest Habs defensemen of all time which says alot. Playing alongside with him is Gary Suter who at the prime of his career was among the best defensemen in the game, and he was playing during a time with Al Macinnis, Paul Coffey, Ray Bourque, etc. He was a huge part of the Flames team in the 80's which is an extremely overlooked team, because they were playing in the time when the Oilers were dominating. The 2nd defensemen line up has Dion Phanuef who is one of the best up and coming players in the game right now, he makes game changing hits and can score goals with his blazing slapshot. Playing with him is a former Norris trophy winner in Randy Carlyle who was a steal for him, he is often overlooked. My next line up has a man who problay has the hardest slap shot in the history of the game, and one of the rising stars in the NHL today. My goaltenders will both share starts because they are both extremely talented. Belfour in his prime was a top 3 goaltender in the whole NHL, and Barrasso is one of the best players not in the Hall of Fame right now. My coach Ken Hitchcock is a great hockey mind, and has been able to deal with a stacked team before(Dallas Stars) even taking them to a cup. Overall I feel my team is among the best in this draft, so vote for me!

I'll do my write up in like 10 miniutes...

When was the last time BJ actually had to use his guard? It's so difficult to actually takedown BJ, especially a motivated BJ that actually is training. You could honestly tell me with a straight face that the BJ who GSP was able to takedown, is the BJ of now? GSP might be able to takedown BJ, but it's going to be a lot more harder now that BJ is actually hungry and motivated to be the best in the world. GSP has taken down some of MMA's best wrestlers _ever_. Motivated or not, BJ Penn isn't a NCAA National champion. You can argue other points all you want and however you want, but using "motivation" isn't going to make BJ a better wrestler than Matt Hughes, Sean Sherk, Frank Trigg, or Josh Koscheck... all of whom GSP took the fuck to the mat. In case you forgot though, BJ was able to stuff both Hughes and Sherks shots... And embarass Matt Hughes on the ground. Motivation is going to make BJ work on his already great takedown defense making it even more deadly.

Yeah I've A LOT more people get fucking drunk and fiend for cocaine... I have yet to remember a time where a friend of mine smoked a joint and wanted to snort cocaine or smoke crack.

I've tried extacy, cocaine, and mushrooms... I did extacy and cocaine because it was offered to me for free, not because I smoked weed and thought "hey this high isnt working out, I gotta try other shit". I had my experiences with it in High School, and haven't done it since.

It's possible, but I don't think it's likely... It's not like Herring has submited people in knee bars or has top notch BJJ like Frank Mir. Most of Herring's submission wins came from a wrestlers keylock, which he is not going to be able to do on Lesnar or rear naked chokes, which is kinda impossible to do on Lesnar because he basically has no fucking neck. Lesnar was able to rip out of an armbar attempt from Mir quite easily, so I can't see Herring being able to pull it off.

Koscheck and Fitch are more well rounded and better strikers then Shields as well... I don't know how old this video is... But here is a youtube video of Shields beating Fitch in a Submission Grappling tournament: From what I hear though they are 1-1

I think Thiago Alves improved takedown defense, strength, his underrated BJJ, and of course his great muay thai striking would help him take out Shields. The only way Shields will have an easy time take down Alves is off a kick, and even then I think at this stage in his career Alves BJJ will prevent him from taking any really damage... Plus there is a chance of Shields getting swept or Alves getting back to his feet, just based off the pure strength of Alves. Sanchez would be an interesting fight... But anywhere the fight goes is not safe for Shields. On the ground he has a chance of beating submited or swept, and Sanchez improved striking would give Sheilds a lot of problems. I can't see Shields beating either Koscheck/Fitch/GSP, because all of them are better strikers and wrestlers. Karo/Shields would be a fucking awesome fight though.

He looked like a douchebag... Even if he does go to the UFC, what makes him thinks Zuffa is going to give him a title shot right away? I don't even think he can beat the majority of the contenders in the UFC Welterweight divison.
