With the network so low key, WWE may be able to pull off some more adult angles and bring Smackdown up to Raw in terms of outrageous storylines. I'm thinking Cena may get drafted over to Smackdown in the fall. That will bring all the kiddies and females over for the extra ratings bump. It worked for ECW in it's early days.

NBC? nah...they're still kinda sour on the SNME ratings plus wrestling isn't mainstream anymore...1998...yes...today no. I'm kinda glad I don't have to watch the CW/UPN ever again. I had a few favorite show on that network and all were ax'd for some teenie bop dramas. As far as SD goes, I doubt it'll be on network tv...although MyNetworkTV is looking hard for programming that will stay on more than a month.

the only BIG jump I've seen tonight is the wide shots when the action isn't on the hard camera (you could see the producer that sits ringside run over to JR and point something out on a sheet) and you can see a lot more of the crowd The guy wearing the Giants jersey in the crowd was the best entertainment in the last segment I was going to the show if it didn't sell out right after I found out it was near me. No. All analog signals will be dead next Feb. which means if you get your local channels via antenna, you'll have to get a new tv or a converter box( the government will give you $50 to buy one) If you have basic analog cable, that won't die until 2012. If you have digital cable without a HD package, nothing will change at all. If you have basic cable and a tv that has a QAM tuner, you can get all your local digital channels that way. Switching to digital doesn't automatically make programming HD, but it's a noticeable difference in picture quality. I watch Raw live on the USA digital channel while recording it using the analog channel and the difference is huge. About the torrent file size for HD shows, for a 48 minute HD show encoded in divx, the file size should be around 350MBs

I get USA HD and CW HD via QAM tuner on my tv, so I'm pretty excited about next week. USA HD is one of the best looking HD channels out now. Sci-Fi HD doesn't show up on my channel scan list, but Comcast has it. I'd rather not pay the extra $5 for the box and another $8 for the channel package it comes in.
