Plo Koon was supposed to have a yellow lightsaber, but due the background colors on Geonosis, they went with blue/green. -
Which won't happen. Flair has teased a face turn for two years now. I don't think he's ever going to turn face. 2003 - he teased a face turn on HHH, turned on HBK. 2004 - he teased a face turn on HHH, turned on Randy Orton. 2005 - he'll tease a face turn on HHH, will turn on Batista. It will his yearly "fuck the fans" tease.

Batman's Riddler, Frank Gorshin, dead Talented impressionist played George Burns on B'way Wednesday, May 18, 2005 Posted: 1:37 PM EDT (1737 GMT) BURBANK, California (AP) -- Actor Frank Gorshin, the impressionist with 100 faces best known for his Emmy-nominated role as the Riddler on the old "Batman" television series, has died. He was 72. Gorshin's wife of 48 years, Christina, was at his side when he died Tuesday at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, his agent and longtime friend, Fred Wostbrock, said Wednesday. "He put up a valiant fight with lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia," Mrs. Gorshin said in a statement. Despite dozens of television and movie credits, Gorshin will be forever remembered for his role as the Riddler, Adam West's villainous foil in the question mark-pocked green suit and bowler hat on "Batman" from 1966-69. "It really was a catalyst for me," Gorshin recalled in a 2002 Associated Press interview. "I was nobody. I had done some guest shots here and there. But after I did that, I became a headliner in Vegas, so I can't put it down." West said the death of his longtime friend was a big loss. "Frank will be missed," West said in a statement. "He was a friend and fascinating character." Gorshin earned another Emmy nomination for a guest shot on "Star Trek." In 2002, Gorshin portrayed George Burns on Broadway in the one-man show "Say Goodnight Gracie." He used only a little makeup and no prosthetics. "I don't know how to explain it. It just comes," he said. "I wish I could say, 'This is step A, B and C.' But I can't do that. I do it, you know. The ironic thing is I've done impressions all my life -- I never did George Burns." Gorshin's final performance will be broadcast on Thursday's CBS-TV series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation." http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/18/o...n.ap/index.html

Here are my ratings for the matches: Bonus Match: R2D2 vs. The Super Battle Droids Good bonus match to start off things. I don't know if you would call it a classic, but it sure as hell was funny. The Battle Droids try to beat up R2 but R2 uses fuel to drench the droids in, and then uses his rocket packs to finish them off. Not really a good match, but a fun match. Comedic gold. **1/2 WINNER: R2D2 Handicap Match: Count Dooku vs. Anakin/Obi Wan Obi Wan is taken out quickly by Dooku, so it's now a one on one match between the two. After a little bit of taunting, Anakin hits his finisher and ends the match. ***1/2 WINNER: Anakin Obi Wan Kenobi vs. General Grievous A good back and forth match. They start with lightsabers which Obi Wan wins and then they go to hand to hand which Grievous pretty much dominates with Obi Wan getting in little offense. During the fight, Grievous dropped a foreign object (gun) and he's about tofinish Obi Wan off, Obi Wan grabs the foreign object and uses it to his advantage, thus taking the victory. **** WINNER: Obi Wan Kenobi. Handicap/Elimination Match: Palpatine vs. Mace Windu/Kit Fisto/and two jobbers The match starts off rather quickly with the two jobbers getting ousted. Kit Fisto holds on a little bit longer but also gets eliminated. So, it's already down to Palpatine vs. Mace Windu. Backstage politics between these two have come to this. Mace seems to have the upperhand as the glass in the Chancellor's chambor gets broken, and is about to score to the victory when Anakin runs in. Anakin and Windu argue for a moment and then Mace goes the victory but Anakin interferes and turns heel by cutting off Mace's hands. Palaptine then finishes Mace off with his finisher - the force lightning. Anakin is a full fledged heel. **** (the fourth * is for the heel turn which was done well) WINNER: Palpatine The Clonetroopers vs. Ki-Adi Mundi/Aayla Secura/Plo Koon The newly heel turned Clonetroopers DOMINATED 99.9% of the time. Ki-Adi is the only one who defends himself and he eventually goes down Aayla gets hit frombehind, and then the heel Clonetroopers then continue to shoot her. Plo Koon ges blown out of the air by the troopers. It just shows how powerful the troopers really are even if it was almost a complete squash. **** (the fourth * is for the emotional value as you feel for the betrayed Jedi) WINNER: The Clonetroopers Double Main Event: No Holds Barred/Fall Counts Anywhere Match: Palpatine vs. Yoda Before the match even begins, Palpatine tries to sic his Royal guards on Yoda, to no avail. The match starts off in Palpatines office below the Senate chamber where Palpatine goes for the early victory by using the force lightning, and of course, Yoda recovers. The fight quickly escalates to the Senate Chamber. They go all over the place. Palpatine tries to cheat by using the Senate discs, but Yoda dodges them. It seems Yoda is about to overpower Palptine, so Palps goes for the force lightning. But Yoda once again over powers Palpatine and both go down. Yoda, fearing for the clonetroopers to intervene soon, retreats while Palpatine is left hanging to the edge of his Senate pod. WINNER: No contest (although I would give the edge to Yoda) ****1/2 (I would give it five, but i wanted a clear winner) The Duel: Anakin vs. Obi Wan Kenobi Anakin begins things by force choking his pregnant wife (like a true heel), and then fight starts. The fight goes back and forth and goes all over the place. From the landing bay to the main control room to the rivers of the molten lava. It is spetacular. Obi Wan finally finishes off Anakin by cutting off an arm and leg which causes Anakin to land in the hot sandy edge of the volcanic river, which disfigures him. This is worse than any bladejob mind you, Anakin has been fucked up. Anakin tells Obi Wan he hates him, and Obi Wan walks away after his victory taking Anakin's lightsaber with him. WINNER: Obi Wan Kenobi ***** Overall, great show from top to bottom although I wish we would have got to see The Jedi Temple Battle Royal but overall not a bad show. This show will be talked about by smarks for years and years to come. -

Just be happy in knowing that the last time you see him, he's sad and unhappy. He probably committed suicide or something. -

The Order 66 scene is awesome. It's just so emotional. Especially the first two deaths we see involving Ki-Adi Mundi and Aayla Secura. For Ki-Adi, it's raining and after yelling "Come on!" he and some clonetroopers are charging toward some battle droids. As he's charging, the order comes and it shows the running clonetrooper feet stop. Ki-Adi takes care of the droids, turns around and then the troopers attack. He defends himself briefly, and then he goes down. Aayla doesn't even get a chance to defend herself. She gets shot in the back. And then a upward shot come and it pans away and the troopers continue to blast her corpse. We don't see her head as a mushroom like tree is covering it, so I assume it gets blown off. Also the music during this scene is phenominal and probably helped. Great scene. I wish we would have got to see the Temple Massacre and the Seperatists Massacre though. -
http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_picture...code/large.html I've never read the book, so I have no idea what it's about, but there is alot of buzz for this film coming next summer. It's got a good director (Ron Howard) and a great cast (Tom Hanks, Ian McKellen, Audrey Tautou, Jean Reno, Alfred Molina) so now I'm keeping my eye on it. I may have to go read the book.

It's sad hearing about people whom you grew up watching die. I really hope one day the batman series will be released on DVD.

I'm off on 5/19 and I didn't even ask for that day off. Perhaps it was fate. -
http://superherohype.com/gallery/Batman/Th...lls/bbnew12.jpg I guess this is the scene where Scarecrow sets Batman on fire making him the first villain in the Batman series to ever get any offense on Batman and actually hurt him.

It's my birthday. I remember when I was younger, I would always look foward to birthdays. I was so excited, and the only thing that could beat it was Christmas. Now, it's just like "not another one." Anyone else feel that way? Does anything good happen when you're nineteen?
