And to this day, I still say that Kill Bill: Vol.1 would have beat LOTR: ROTK if it has been nominated for Best Movie. Of course, MTV knew this, and did not want to fuck up the LOTR winning all three times. Of course, some of those movie deserved the Best Movie award (Pulp Fiction, Se7en, The Matrix) and some did not (Scream, TSABM, MIIS).
-
MTV probably chipped in on such movies as Napoleon Dynamite, Hitch, Mean Girls, Seed of Chucky, and Cursed, so of course, they'll get a nod or two.

Outlandish Things you'll probably never see

One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread
CBright7831 replied to Black Lushus's topic in Television & Film
Since I guess this is the OAO Star Wars Episode III thread, I will post this: That's right. It gets it's own Tamatometer Watch on the main page of the RT. It's currently at 90% with two negative reviews. "I imagine that Revenge of the Sith is very much the film Lucas's fans want to see, but are some of them ready for an anti-Bush diatribe?" -- Ed Gonzalez, SLANT MAGAZINE This is one of them, and it had me thinking "WTF?!?!?" -
I was reading wrestlecrap when I noticed this: WTF? Someone explain this to me, or is RD just rambling out of his ass?

I forgot I even replied in this thread.

You know, that would make a great animated gif.

And yes, the suplex looked sick. I opnly caught the last minute of the streetfight.
-
I was expecting more of a reaction from the crowd. Perhaps it was good that way though.

Confirmed: Bret Hart Offered WWE 2006 Hall Of Fame
CBright7831 replied to algrim's topic in The WWE Folder
I don't know if Hart and Flair can share the same stage together. -
At GAB 99 at the WCW.com internet table! I thought it was pretty surreal that Nash and Goldberg both lost looser never wrestles for WCW matches again matches and both adhered to the stips.... I guess both were set to make comebacks eventually, but of course, WCW went out of business. And yes, Jericho's last appearance was at GAB 99, when Sting and Rick Steiner fought all the way over to the WCW.com table.

As long as *N'SYNC does not resurface, I think the world will be fine. I actually somewhat respect Justin Timberlake for turning down the *N'SYNC reunion tour idea.

I wish I could have seen the Costas interview. But apparently, NOBODY recorded and uploaded it online. I can't even find recaps online about it. When Vince did that, I was like "Wow!". He started out calm about the subject, and then just went ape shit. Something tells me he gets easily aggitated. As for the Playboy interview, although I have never read it, I have heard by all accounts it's shocking. Vince saw his mother getting beat up by his step-father and tried to help his mother, and he got beat up for it. I also heard his step father did some other things to him which I won't get into. He said "he's lucky he died, because I would have killed him eventually."

no chance. If TNA doesn't let him do it... I don't know.

I'm really starting to fear 2012 myself. I'm worried about thinking "I have 7 more years left...." I know! It's scary.

For the record, when the sun eventually does run out of fuel and explodes, it'll actually increase in size for a while first, probably enough to reach Mars' orbit. So we don't have to worry about freezing to death. Excellent. I just hope it will be quick and painless for the beings of earth when this happens.
-
Well...
-
Call me a pussy all you want but I hate thinking about the end of the world. I do. I don't know why. Just imagine a tital wave coming right for you and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Or imagine the sun going off and everyone dies slowly as they freeze to death. Or imagine the wolrd getting to close to the sun and burning and the ground caves in and the world just explodes like in Superman. I somewhat fear the year 2012 now for some reason and I don't fear much. I just hope I'm dead and gone by the time the world ends and that's if it ever does. I guess I can thank movies like Deep Impact and The Day After Tommorrow (both which I have never seen and never will see) for my fears.

I knew I should have waited a year to buy my WM XX DVD.

That was the only segment where Boston should have stayed quiet, which isn't to hard for them.
-
Only as we know it. And I feel fine. And I'm scared shitless. I honestly hate thinking about that kind of shit.

Yeah it's sort of HHH's vacation he takes a few months off, beats on someone else and then comes back to shove it in everybody's face. Funniest JR Moment: 'If you didn't order Backlash shame on you And I missed that also.
