    Video of JFK gettin shot

Everytime I watched that video, I couldn't help but notice that a main raises what looks to something in his hand at the exact time Kennedy. Now am I saying it was a gun? No, but I just happened to notice it.

    Second Ric Flair DVD Acoming!

This is arguably the best WWE news that I've heard in awhile.
  5. If there is one thing I hate thinking about, it's the end of the world.Of course, many people talk about how 2012 ends in some sort of calender year and that the world will be coming to an end. Now me, I'm not really affiliated with anyone, but this is one thing that bothers the hell out of me. What do you all think?

    Your Favorite Return

No in was in January 02, and it was from his quad tear. Some of the recent returns: Ric Flair - 1998 HHH - 2000 (after being out after the HIAC match) Ric Flair - 2001 HHH - 2002 Mr. Perfect - 2002 The Rock - 2004
  7. Foley would be the heel here. He could cut his standard smart promos and point out Hogan's ego (something WWE has no problem talking about) and how Hogan was a selfish performer while Foley will put himself over as the ultimate professional who gave everything he had for the fans (whom didn't appreciate his efforts until he put a sock on his hand). Foley would be smart enough to come across as a bitter jerk because Hogan can't be a heel here. Hogan counters by saying Foley used his success in the business to pursue fame and money outside just as much as Hogan did. WWE loves to do shooty type angles(Matt/Edge and Shawn/Hogan for recent examples), this would be nothing but shoot-filled goodness. Foley could carry the program in promos alone if he is motivated and for a WM payoff against a name like Hogan? He'll bring his game. As for the match? it'd be a train-wreck but Foley will go into Shawn mode, and completely over-sell everything. I still believe Hogan would be better off against Orton and Foley against Edge. For some reason I'd like to see Cactus Jack invade the Hogan home to get inside Hogan's head.

The only EU (after ROTJ that is) that I take as fact is Boba Fett survived the fall into the Sarlaac Pit.
  9. If Austin is not going to face Hogan, I can think of only one man that would be perfect to fit the job:

    Chuck Norris facts

The biggest shock to come out of the books would have to be the death of Chewbacca.

    Jon Stewart to Host Oscars

It looks like Brokeback Mountain is the favorite going into the show this year. As ignorant as this sounds, a movie about gay cowboys just doesn't interest me.

Conan hosting the Oscars would be interesting.

    WON Notes for Jan 3rd

I've said it before: Hogan/Foley (as Cactus Jack) makes as much sense as anything. One is the politician that wouldn't lay down for anyone (unless it helped him in the long run), the other was a relatively altruistic wrestler that did what was right for the company. Plus, both could shill their side projects (Hogan Knows Best DVD, and Foley's book-of-the-year). And, if nothing else, Foley could probably carry Hogan in the promos & match, something that Austin couldn't do at this point. What's sad is the fans would still rally around Hogan, even after his asshole backstage politics were exposed.

    WON Notes for Jan 3rd

did Kellogs really need to hire someone to say "Theyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy'rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeee GREAT!" given how many times the old guy that died had probably said it? Interesting fact: The same guy that was the voice of Tony the Tiger, was also the guy who sang The Grinch Song.

If they try to do Episode 7-9, you won't get Harrison Ford back. And Han Solo was a big part (to me at least) in the Original Trilogy. I say the movie should be Anakin's story and let it be

One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread

Here is some information on the new live action tv show that Lucas will be working on: - Pre-production is expected to begin in January 2006. - The television series is expected to be released in either 2007 or 2008. - The series will focus on minor characters in the Star Wars films, ones who viewers have seen on screen before in the films themselves. - The entire series will be set in the 19-year time period between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. - The series will last 100 episodes - Each episode will be 1 hour long. - Daniel Logan, who played the Young Boba Fett, has been asked to reprise his role as Fett for the new series by Lucas. - Lucas will get the show started with his work on the first season, and then "hand it off from there." - The style of the series will be in a similar style to Lucas' Young Indiana Jones TV series. - Lucas will be organizing all casting and getting together the complete crew to fill the various positions required for the show. - Cameos by main characters are not totally out of the question. - The show is still in its early planning stages, so many plot and/or story elements may change, as Lucas has shown to change his mind easily, such as expressing an interest in expanding the character Aayla Secura, then killing her in Episode III. - Lucas has stated that, in producing the show, "we will do what would typically cost $20 million, for $1 million." - Lucas has stated that if this series, along with the 3-D animated Clone Wars series is successful, more series may follow. According to an interview at his AFI lifetime achievement ceremony, future series may include the possibility of a Knights of the Old Republic-era series. - Work will commence this January. Lucas and his colleague Rick McCallum will produce the still untitled show. - Jimmy Smits (Bail Organa), Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett/Clonetroopers) have expressed their interest in occasional appearances. - The series will be shot using Hi-Definition cameras, according to Rick McCallum at a recent press conference for the "Revenge of the Sith" DVD. - McCallum also confirms at the conference that many characters from the Expanded Universe will be seen in the series, who had previously only been seen in the novels, comics, video games, and other media. - McCallum describes the series as: "It is going to be much darker, grittier. It's much more character-based." - McCallum says on the writing and plot of the series: "We are just starting to interview writers and trying to really figure out which direction to go to. He envisions somewhere like 100 hours between Episode III and Episode IV with a lot of characters that we haven't met that have been developed in some of the novels and other things. We are really excited about that. Finally, we could have the opportunity to answer everybody's questions once and for all by the time we finish the series." - Ian McDiarmid stated at a recent press event for the "Revenge of the Sith" DVD that, if asked, he will return as Emperor Palpatine for the series. - Frank Oz has also said that if asked, he will return as Yoda. - Lucas has also stated that if the two tv serials are successful they may be followed by additional animated StarWars features. Whether this means more tv shows or an animated movie is not clear. It has also been stated by Lucas at Celebration III that one of them might take place during the Sith Wars.
