One and Only Star Wars Geekiness Thread
CBright7831 replied to Black Lushus's topic in Television & Film
No, sadly. You can sign up for 'Hyperspace' at StarWars.com and get them, but that's subscription. You can find them pretty easily on most file sharing networks, though. I got mine through KaZaa Ressurrection. Actually, you can view a small screen version of it on StarWars.com. If you're a hyperspace subscriber, you get to see it in a bigger version. http://www.starwars.com/clonewars/microser...chapter/25.html In all seriousness, I would just go out and buy the DVDs. -
I always liked Mr. Perfect's tribute video.

What movies will you be going to see in 2006?
CBright7831 replied to CBright7831's topic in Television & Film
I will admit, 2005 has been a pretty solid year for me. ROTS, Kong, and BB were my three favorites from 2005. -
Since I did a thread similar to this last year, I thought to myself, "Why not again, this year?" I will defiantly be buying a ticket to go see... + V for Vendetta + Superman Returns (not a big Superman fan, but I enjoyed the 78 movie and it's sequel) + Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest + Miami Vice I may buy a ticket to go see.... + X3 + The Da Vinci Code (not a big book fan) + The Departed (may wait for this on DVD, and it will probably be released nationwide in '07) *Card subject to change, of course.

You know...you're right. You're absolutely right. In 2005, I found this catchy little YTMND page for the Picard song. It was truely life changing. Captain Jean Luc Picard....U-S-S Enterprise. ENGAGE!

Laugh all you want. I don't give a shit.

Todd Grisham Calls Fan "Retard" On Byte This
CBright7831 replied to QuestionMan's topic in The WWE Folder
Grisham: Now is the wrestling in Japan similiar to Lucha Libre? Benoit: Uh...no. -
Usually years ending with odd numbers are bad for me, but this year was pretty good, but nothing outstanding or groundbreaking for me like last year (graduation, first job). My biggest experience of 2005 was going to see Episode III at midnight, which is something I had never done before.
-
It sucks it's being released natiowide next year. I want to see this now.

I should probably add Munich to the list since it will be released nationwide in 06. -
I remember Foley brought this up during there feud, and it was never mentioned again.
-
Well, if Ric Flair's book can be believed (and I dont see why hed lie about this), at least Arquette treated the title with a bit of class and dignity. This is more than can be said of the modern wwe booking staff. In 2000 I had little or no problem watching a full 2 or 3 hours of WWF or WCW....now its phyiscally impossible for me to do that with Raw. Not to mention Arquette (who is actually a BIG wrestling fan) did not want to do it, but Russo insisted.

Reportidly, they have Johnson saying this on record also during a secretary interview: "If she's not willing to drop her panties, I don't want to speak to her." Of course, that's what my history teacher said.
-
I think I'd rather see a continuation of Bruce Timm's Batman Animated Series.
-
I'm gonna need some convincing before I say this is more fucked up than 2002. + The push of Carlito, Masters, Hassan to quickly + John Cena floundering as champion + The JR Angle + The death of Eddie Guerrero + WWE putting the fast break on Hassan after London bombing + Lesnar talks burst through and he moves on to Japan + Batista/Triple H getting shoved down our throats from February to late June + Kurt Angle's sexapade + Randy Orton using the lowrider of Eddie Guerrero to kill the Undertaker + Chris Jericho not resigning + Christian not resigning (although he wasn't going anywhere) + Vince/Shawn angle tonight Of course, I never saw Katie Vick (thank God) and only read reports of it.
-
What a way to end the most fucked up year in WWE history.
-
What about wrestling radio shows like Between The Ropes or Get In The Ring?
-
Yes. The reaction on this board would have been incredibly entertaining. The Undertaker on Regis and Kelly would be great. The lights going out and the fog in the studio would be excellent. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen The Undertaker make an appearance on a show before, whether it be Regis and Kelly or Between The Ropes.

I don't get the big deal about smoking either. I met a girl at a party who smoked, but given the chance, I would still have porked her.
-
I also remember Batista just murdering Rhyno.
-
I really wish Bret would stop being rebellious and just accept a spot in the HOF.
-
What is it they said on the Family Guy movie? "If they smoke, they poke."
-
That son of a bitch!

Move over, Snakes On A Plane, we have a new contender for Worst Movie of 2006.
