Raw House Show Reports (2-19, 2-20)
Frankie Williams replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
Well we know he was in Pittsburgh for the ppv last night. Speaking of the ppv, why would WWE run a house show the night of a ppv? -
What a waste of balloons his SS 93 "celebration" was.

Batista winning the Rumble.

I hadent been on that site for a long time but I decided to give it a looksee a few days ago. My god. Talk about how the mighty have fallen. Im guessing its because Joey Styles took it over. There is absolutely nothing newsworthy. I remember when it used to be fun getting news. I dont know if its considered a major news site, but 411mania does a great job.

I wonder if Sting knew about this.

Raw 1.24.05 Speculation,Reactions & Complaints

JR: Next WWE Champ -
Im sure all the fans in Nashville really appriciate the fact that they dont get a ppv after being the home of TNA the first 2 years of exisitance. When I hear Universal Studios, I think of WCW Worldwide.

What if.... ....WCW and ECW still existed. ....there was never a Gulf War ....Chyna and HHH were still an item ....Shawn Michaels never lost his smile ....Kwang took off like Steve Austin did ....WrestleMania 1 was a HUGE flop ....the original planned main event of Hulk Hogan vs. Zeus happened at WM 6 ....Jim Ross was never able to come back from his bouts with Bells Paulsy

Most silent wrestling crowd ever?
Frankie Williams replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Wrestling
I totally agree. I was there for a Raw show right before Survivor Series 2001, and the crowd was so dead, that during a commercial break, Paul Heyman got on the house mic and yelled at us for being so silent. It was classic. -
That would also expand the roster for Velocity.

FINALLY!!!! Something to spark my interest again!!

How about ___ on a pole, or the infamous Ball and Chain matches that Big Bossman had with Bobby Heenan?

Both arrived on the scene the same time in 2000. Benoit was the first to win gold capturing the IC title at WM 2000. Geurrero won his first title the night after defeating Chris Jericho for the European title. Both have worn tag team gold. Geurrero is also a multi time IC champ. Eddie has been gone from action a couple times due to personal problems, while the only real time Benoit has been gone was due to injury. Both of course are former World Champs. But Benoit has won the Royal Rumble, and main evented a WM. Dispite the losing the title and the weaker roster, Eddie is the top face on Smackdown, while Benoit has dropped a few notches on Raw after losing his title. My question: who has had the better run and why?

Who has been more sucsessful in WWE?

Thanks for pointing that out. Are you the little Indian kid that collapsed during the spelling bee earlier this year. -
Welcome to "This Show Will Make the Legends of Wrestling PPV Look Like WrestleMania X-Seven" Your announcing team: Tony Schivone, Don West and Lee Marshall Viscera and Jim Neidhart defeat Tyson Tomko and Billy Gunn in the first EVER one hour Iron Man tag team match, 1 fall to 0 to open up the show. Backstage interviewer Charlie Minn interviews the blockbuster surprise guest Tatanka. Tatanka issues and open challange to anyone that is man enough to accept it tonight. In his eagerly awaited return to action, Nailz defeats WWE newcomer Ay Jay Stilez in 1:23 with the chokeout. Lita, Jeff Hardy and Kamala have a 15 minutes in ring debate on the art of mic skills. Barry Didinsky shills the brand new Gene Snitsky wire coat hangers. Doink the Clown and the Ultimate Warrior battle to a no contest in a "Loser Loses His Makeup" match. Roddy Piper comes to the ring for and interview. He rambles on for 25 minutes without even introducing his guest. All of a sudden Piper is yanked out of the ring after it is discovered that thousands of paying viewers call their cable companies demanding a refund. Tatanka's open challange is answered and he is soundly defeated by KoKo B Ware in 43:17 Stephanie Wyand interviews Triple H from "WWE Headquarters in Stamford Ct". Triple H claims that this would be the worst ppv ever if he hadn't made his apperance. Well Dunn reunite for one night only to defeat the teams of Mark Henry & Boris Zukov, Don Harris & Mordicai, and Mantaur & Abe Knuckleball Schwartz in a four team elimination craptacular. This match goes an astounding 59:21. In our main event, Kevin Nash defeats referee Jack Doan for the WWE Cruiserweight title. The reason Nash made weight, was because oly his legs we weighed, combining for a weight of 38 lbs. This match almosts goes the full 5 minute time limit, but after the 4th ref bump at the 4:13 mark, Scott Hall, who was in Doans corner, in a shocker, turns of the Jack, tazers him and Nash makes the cover for the loooooooooongs 3 count. We are out!!

The night when the fat chick turned on Mike Awsome, Tony Schiavone sold it like someone shot the President. -
Most inaccurate statement Jim Ross??
Frankie Williams replied to hbkhhhmark4life's topic in General Wrestling
Last night at the SS he said that the first womans match ever held at SS was in 1995. There was a 10 woman elimination match at the very first one. -
So what are you watching tonight? Smackdown or the TNA special on FSN (assuming that you get it).

Now we know why there were so many releases. Cutting Test and A-Train = Money for new wacky technology.

Best and Worst Entrances and Music ever

Best: Jake Roberts face music Worst: Brian Knobbs WCW music -
I know that has been discussed to death here but I need my own forum. Today not one, not two but THREE of the greatest IC champs of ALL time have been released from their WWE contracts. WHAT IS VINCE THINKING???? This is worse than when Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and Bret Hart all left the then WWF. No doubt that TNA will scoop these Mega Superstars up in a New York minute. Will history repeat itself? Will a new and improved New World Order begin all over again in TNA? Will "The Cranium of Doom" Matt Bloom, "The Sultan of Slopp" Monty Sopp and "Whats That All Aboot" Andrew Martin make a shocking appearance at Victory Road this Sunday and proclaim that they are "Taking over"? WWE is in trouble, more than ever before. You let three men that you REFUSED to grace our TV screens for months go without a whimper. Where is Billy Gunns goodbye sendoff? This man has been here for 11 years. I remember being in the Manhattan Center in 1993 when he and his brother Bart Gunn made their WWF debuts, shooting off cap guns like no one elses business. Where is the "Thank you A-Train. We will miss you"? I was there that fateful night in MSG when Albert carved his name in WWF history defeating Kane to be the second greatst IC champ only behind...... .....Test. I was there at the Nassau Colisieum when a stunned crowed saw the almost Mr. Stephanie McMahon defeat Edge to become the GREATEST IC champ ever. The crowd was so stunned in silence that Paul Heyman had to yell at us during the commercial break to make some noise. No one sweats like you Test. Never again will I see a Baldo Bomb executed to such perfection. Never again will I get chills when I hear "Test....Test....this is a Test" And worst of all I will never again hear the lyrics "So many asses, so little time" WWE wishes these men nothing but the best in the future. I say its time to make Vince pay. Shame on you Mr McMahon. Shame on you. Goodbye my friends.
