I meant to ask you about this: Do you think she's the best female worker in the company right now? I agree that she's not "great" (not if you compare her to the primes of many Joshi workers), but due to her ability to work a crowd during her matches and having a moveset that, while simple, is very effective and means something, I'd rank her at the top. Many would argue Molly Holly, but while Molly has great athleticism, I find she doesn't make her matches mean something, like Trish does. The same holds water for Victoria, at least during Vicky's face time. Matter of fact, it pains me to admit this, but Lita's a better crowd worker than Molly and Victoria, but of course, can't do shit in the ring unless Trish is holding her hand. I'll comment about the potential of Trish's future later, but I wanted your thoughts on that topic.

Good chance for my Bills to get a road win again this week at Miami. Dolphins outclassed the Niners last week, though, they may still be on a roll headed into this week.

I'm Canadian and hockey isn't my favourite sport. I used to like the Toronto Maple Leafs (I live in Ottawa). I'm a Buffalo Bills fan, yet have a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt, and a History of the Cowboys DVD (thanks to pranksters acting as gift-givers). I used to like the idea of a salary cap, in any sport. I used to think Joe Theismann was a good football color commentator. I'm starting to think Michael Irvin is the best reason to watch Sunday NFL Countdown.

Sass, are you counting "Canada" and "house shows" as far as everywhere else outside of the U.S. and England goes? Because he did great at house shows up here during the Attitude Era, if I recall correctly.

What does your team need to do in the offseason?

Good points. I forgot about the age of those two. -
That's why the Jays are really, really happy today...

Buffalo Bills (gone from the playoffs unless a miracle happens): Offense: Continue building and developing. If Bledsoe continues at his improved pace for the remainder of the season, don't go after another quarterback (unless they feel the need to replace Travis Brown at the third-string for some reason). Continue developing Losman. At running back, make a decision on Henry. If you're going to trade him, release him, whatever, find a good back-up to McGahee who'll go for cheap bucks for cap room. I don't have a problem with the receivers. The offensive line's improved, but I'd still shop or draft for more help. Defense: The only major concern for me is the defensive line. Williams and Adams are REALLY good when they're good, but when they start sucking wind, Buffalo is vulnerable to the run. The Bills have had a history of problems at the defensive line (even during Bruce Smith's prime years with the team), so this is nothing new. Linebackers and secondary seem fine, and losing Antonio Winfield to the Vikings hasn't really hurt them at all. Try to keep everyone in the group as best as you can. Special Teams: Terrence McGee is the man, Clements also holds his own as a returner, and I have no problems with the kicking game. No changes, unless, of course, there's cap issues (I feel like a broken record saying that). All this, of course, depends an awful lot on how December goes... -
Al, I know you like to do Keltner Lists with randomly selected players, but, if you don't mind requests at all, one covering Darryl Strawberry would be veddy interesting...

We apologize for them too.

Given the general direction this list seemed to be pointing to, I'm very surprised Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" didn't make it.

Works for me. The game's in Detroit next year, so I *might* have a shot at going. Disclaimer: "Might", as in, there's what, 10 tickets to the Super Bowl that's available to the general public?

I work a stone's throw away from the Museum of Civilization. I'm wondering if I should book off sick since it may be pretty crazy there. Or better yet, maybe work late and try to visit Mr. Bush later.

By any chance, does anybody know what's the most number of TD's Manning's thrown in a single game?

I'm Canadian, but here goes... - I'm thankful for Willis McGahee, who helped light a spark under the Bills offense, and while it's too late this year, will create hope for next year and beyond. - I'm thankful for the Raptors bench, which is scoring in bunches so far this season, and is picking up the slack for a very inconsistent Vince Carter. - I'm thankful for a rebuilding minor league system of the Blue Jays, with hopes that it might lead to the same sucesses of the past. - While many may not care here, I'm thankful for a fun CFL Grey Cup weekend that I had here in Ottawa, for while the levels of play might not be NFL levels, the parties for five days were sure worth being at. - Finally, I'm actually thankful for no NHL season so far. Because, if there was a season, chances are the Ottawa Senators would've faced disappointment in the playoffs yet again.

Note that is the Silvervision cover. I'm sure it will be different. Didn't the UK have a hideous cover for the Cena DVD (even worse than the US Versions)? Isn't Silvervision generally accurate with their covers? They were dead-on with the Chris Benoit cover.

This is the same feeling I've been having on the matter. If I was Artest, I would get up and DARE someone else to throw something at me, grab the microphone and remind whoever did that I still make more in a week than they do in 2-3 years. That'll learn 'em. Artest needs to go to the Terrell Owens School Of Non-Violent Retaliation. That's great, but you weren't there, weren't put in the same situation, and didn't just play a full NBA game with a defensive team that annoys the shit out of you. I'm not saying what he did was right, but lets not act like we are 100% sure what we would have done in that position, when you weren't put in that position under the same circumstances. I understand the emotional factor, but that's why I would go that way. People asked, "What would you do?" and that's the best possible scenario I can think of. Artest was staring at the lights while lying on the scorer's table, no way would he have even seen where the beer cup came from. Best that he give a long, drawn-out "Fuck you" instead of costing himself the season. He knows full-well that you can't go into stands. And he might've even got suspended if he went through my scenario, but I don't expect him to do nothing given his history of short fuses.

Shit! Apologies for my mistake.

God, no. Probably one of Hayabusa's worst matches ever. This match was a classic case of a spotfest gone totally wrong. It started off fine, but once the hardcore stuff happened, it looked like they were all just doing stuff at random, and blowing half of it. Anyways, aside from Axl Rotten (and maybe Balls Mahoney and Pat Rose), this DVD is pretty solid. Keep the Jeff Hardy 1997 and GC 2001 matches, as they had some significance to them.

I'd like to see more shoot interview recaps myself. However, I respect Brandon's choice for not doing them anymore, or at least not in a long while, that he made at the time. If it were me, I wouldn't want to give Rob Feinstein any free publicity either.

I have no problems with that match on there. I'm just saying, people who blame the "WWF Trademark Legalities" for omission of matches on newly-released DVD sets are grasping for straws. The WWE has been working around that. The Cactus Jack-Triple H Royal Rumble 2000 match is on the Mick Foley DVD. The Chris Benoit-Kurt Angle Raw 2001 Cage match is on the Benoit DVD. They've got the Jeff-RVD InVasion match on this one. The WWF Trademark is not an issue with these things anymore. It's whether or not they choose to release them on the sets.
-
Then how come the InVasion match with Jeff Hardy is on there?

While I'm not the greatest expert on it... PROS: Prescription medication is, more often than not, easy to find. Also, it's very easy to walk into some small medical centre (e.g. Appletree Medical Centre here in Ottawa) to receive a physical, blood tests, etc. And while Americans have trouble having access to flu shots, they're not hard to get here in Canada, especially in Ontario, where they're free. CONS: Vital operations, such as surgeries. The big problems with Canada's health care system is the waiting lines for those things, something Paul Martin's failed to fix at any rate. I have a co-worker who originally had to wait one year for surgery, but due to some bureaucracy botches within the system, that wait got extended to two years.
