I'm watching this Galaxy-New York game right now and it is fucking FUN. 4-4 tie as I'm typing this, back and forth action, both teams scored two unanswered goals. Speaking as someone who has no real interest in the sport, if all soccer games were like this I think a lot more Americans could get into it.

If it's entertaining, who cares? It's not your job to worry about how the company makes money.

I concur with Mecca, this game is complete shit. It's like EA Sports game designers got together in a room, all took a huge dump and then stuck it in a case labeled "Madden NFL 2008" and put it on store shelves. There's no excuse for some of the stuff in this game. The ridiculously high amount of turnovers has already been talked about ad nauseum. As was mentioned - draft classes are totally screwed because all the ratings drop (speed drops, how can they possibly justify someone getting slower after they are drafted?). Oh and let's not forget the fact that franchise stats are completely fucked. For all the turnovers when you play a game, there's basically none in the rest of the league during a franchise. QB's like Brady/Manning/Bulger etc. will literally finish seasons with stats like 45 TD's and 3 INT's. I simmed a few years ahead last night and Manning had a season with 52 TD's and 4 INT's. There were 21 receivers with over 100 receptions. Joey Harrington was the worst QB in the league with a QB rating of 89. How can you even play a franchise with this shit? It totally kills it. There's no possible way any game developer or game tester could have NOT seen the enormous amount of problems that this game has. EA just doesn't give a shit and it's too bad because All Pro Football is such a far superior game it isn't even funny, but I can't get into it because of the fact that they don't have the NFL License. So, I'm relegated to playing Madden 08 on current gen (or old gen I guess, whatever you would call PS2/Xbox) because thankfully EA managed to not fuck those versions up.

They're all horrible crimes, but we can't go back and change the amount of jail time for every scumbag athlete that has committed one of them. Even if he gets "off" (relatively speaking) with a lighter sentence like those guys did, I think most fans can take solace in the fact that he's most likely taken his last snap as an NFL player.

I've liked everything that has come out about this movie so far, but I can't get over how awful the new batsuit looks. And I'm not really sure how I feel about the fact that The Joker is just a guy in makeup instead of following the traditional Joker storyline.

Well there's no accounting for taste........I watch wrestling to see wrestling not a cut rate sitcom. Anyone who honestly watches WWE purely for wrestling deserves the disappointment they get every Monday for being so naive. What do you watch it for then? Entertainment? You must be easily amused. There's nothing entertaining about this crap. If I wanted to watch a third-rate, horribly written and acted sitcom I'd watch "According to Jim" re-runs instead of RAW. Wow. I know WWF pushed the envelope back then but I didn't remember they said stuff like that. Do you think saying homo on RAW would fly these days or would WWE get in trouble for it?

Heads up to everyone - The Iron Sheik will be on the Howard Stern Show on Thursday. They've been playing his clips for a long time and finally got him to agree to come in. Bubba the Love Sponge is flying into NYC to be in the studio for it and they're going to have Artie Lange dress up as "Iron Sheik Jr." and come in and talk about Brian Blair and shit like that. Should be epic if you have Sirius or Torrent sites to get the show.

Are there any websites where I could get a free custom e-mail domain? What I mean is, an e-mail service that lets me use any "@_____.com/net,etc." that I want? Like, [email protected]? (That will not be the e-mail I actually create if you're keeping tabs). Or does this sort of thing not exist?

But the WWE isn't just an entertainment company. I don't care what the company fancies itself or what the name says, it's much more of a sport than a comedy sketch show or something like that. The stuff they put their bodies through is comparable to only Football.
