Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
UZI Suicide replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
I would argue the WWE indirectly makes wrestlers take steroids. No, Vince isn't forcing them down your throat, but you know he likes to push guys that look like the Incredible Hulk so people are going to do roids to get that look, and then the non-roiding guy who is competing for a spot with those guys will see that and have no choice but to get on 'roids to keep up. -

Why do you hope that happens? Stuff like this is what really makes me laugh. You're so caught up in trying to protect your precious wrestling that you're coming up with anything you can to try to ignore what is really going on. So if Benoit was not on anything, that means everything is fine and dandy? I'd rather see something be done to stop more guys from dying than hope and pray that Benoit wasn't on anything so that we can keep watching under the illusion that everything is A OK. Drugs and steroids are a major problem in this business and you'd have to be a fucking retard to think otherwise. Drugs are a problem everywhere.......I'd like to see your response to say the music industry or the acting field. It's like people are trying to blame Vince for the problems the industry has always had. Just because he is the top dog doesn't mean that's his problem. That would be like trying to come down on the top money making label for what happens when a musician dies. Some people are way to caught up in their hate of the WWE and Vince aswell........it goes both way yes some people want to protect wrestling but other people want to put the WWE out of business it's pretty ridiculous on both sides. What the fuck does that even mean? Are you honestly comparing actors/musicians to WWE employees? That is two completely different fields. The fact that he is the top dog means that it is precisely his problem. Guys are dying under his watch. He runs the company and he owns everyone in it and as such, he has the power to put an end to any kind of drug/steroid/HGH abuse should he choose to. You know what some people are too caught up in? Their blind defense of the WWE. No, all of the drug problems in wrestling aren't their fault, but guys are dying left and right and instead of admitting there's a problem, everyone is scurrying about looking for fucking dumb ass reasoning for why the industry is just fine.. "OH MAYBE DRUGZ WERENT INVOLVED SEE EVERYTHING IS OK WRESTLING IS FINE!1!". Guys are going to keep dying unless changes are made. If you're OK with that then by all means, have fun watching. -

I don't see the problem with those posts. If you're under the illusion that Vince is anything but a scummy businessman who is ultimately only looking out for himself, you're nuts. Vince knows EVERYTHING that goes on in the company. It reminds me of the Entourage episode where Ari says to E..."You knew about the script before me? Do you think there's anything in this fucking world you know about that I don't know about?" Whether it's right to "crusade" against the WWE (which I don't think is happening in those posts anyway) is another argument, but they're pretty much the only show in town and if the hammer comes down on the industry it's going to fall directly on the WWE and they could have prevented it years ago, so I'm really not going to feel sorry for Vince or the company. -
Haha, the mics totally picked up Booker saying "Ain't nobody gonna help yo punk ass!"

Movie moments that gave/give you chills *Spoilers throughout*

In "The Patriot", when Heath Ledger's character has Col. Tavington on the ground face down and is about to shoot him and Tavington quickly turns over and stabs him with his sword before he can pull the trigger. Quite a few scenes from "The Crow", but mostly the one where kills, I believe Funboy, but I may be wrong, but tying him up inside his car, putting explosives in it and sending him off the pier. Then he leaves the Crow "logo" in flames on the ground at the scene. Those are off the top of my head, I'll think of more later. -
"Why would I buy a black cock?!" - Ari classic line.

I watched The Woodsman last night on one of the movie channels. Really good movie and REALLY uncomfortable in some scenes (mostly the scene with Kevin Bacon and the girl in the park) Great performance by Bacon though, he should have gotten an Oscar nom for this.

It's not gonna matter. They'll show video clips and pictures of him and Larry will ask the inevitable "Have you taken steroids?" question. -

It's going to be so hilarious for non-wrestling fans to see a guy that looks like John Cena does go on TV and say steroids aren't rampant in wrestling. -
Comments which don't warrant a thread.

There's nothing like spending a summer day at the mall. The place is full of sluts wearing next to nothing, most of them south of 16. -
Brett Tomko is fucking awful.

Well I guess this answers my previous question

I'm interested to see how this will play out on the screen. With Guitar Hero it's easy because there's just the one strip going down telling you what color to press. Now you need to fit in that type of thing for lead guitar, bass and drums.

How did Orlando Cabrera not make the AL team? He has better numbers across the board than Michael Young.

Chris Benoit is starting to make Ted Bundy look like a pretty stand-up guy. Killed his son with his own WRESTLING FINISHING MOVE? You can't fucking make this stuff up. That is probably the most disgusting thing I've ever read. -

No, because before all this happened, he was a decent human being. Unforgiving people don't understand there are things in this world that can damage your brain and make you do sick, crazy things, even though you were basically a good person. Because he took a picture with you once you know he was a decent human being? You don't know the first thing about what kind of guy Benoit was. I don't care what all the other wrestlers say about him. Like I've said, when do you ever hear people say bad things about serial killers? It's nothing but "Oh I can't believe he'd ever do this, he was such a mild-mannered guy, he loved everyone. This is totally unlike the person I knew." Get a fuckin' clue, dumbass. -

It isn't like she's pushing a book or something. She's just giving her story. She's not saying because Austin did such and such that means Benoit did it too. She's saying because Austin did what he did to her, it's very likely the same thing could have been happening to Nancy. Which, considering the circumstances, I'd tend to believe. -

Earlier tonight I stumbled upon a website listing Internet hoaxes and it reminded me of one from years back that wasn't listed. Now it's eating away at me and I NEED to find out what this was called. Basically, a website was set up where this guy was talking about how he found some object in the forest behind his house, I don't remember what the object was, but I want to say it was some shiny crystal substance. The next day, some men in black suits came looking for him asking about it. As time went on he noticed he was being spied on and one day a black van pulls up and a bunch of guys try to raid his house and he is able to escape, so basically the rest of the updates to his website are supposedly of him on the run. Updating from various internet cafes, etc. He doesn't know who is chasing him, what he found, or why they want it. Eventually he finds out what it is, what the secret behind it is and what these people were trying to cover up and set a date to reveal it all, which was March 6 of whatever year it was. I remember this being really big at the time, especially at the GameFAQ's forums which I frequented all the time in my younger days. When the day finally came, it was revealed as a viral marketing scheme used to promote a new book that was coming out. I don't remember what the book was about or what relation it had to the story and honestly, I'm probably butchering the crap out of the story. I know a few details are off, but hopefully someone remembers the general premise. It took place a few years ago, I want to say around 2000-2002 (I think 2000, because I remember people trying to tie in Y2K stuff to it). I'd really love to read it again if anyone has a link to it archived somewhere. Also, what are some of your favorite Internet hoaxes?

Yeah but part of it could also be a culmination of years of drug/steroid abuse in the WWE. -

Can someone please post the Chris Jericho interview from Nancy Grace if it's available anywhere online? I'm itching to see it. -

Everytime something like this happens, friends say "we never saw it coming" or "this is nothing like him/her", when in reality the person was probably always looney. Besides, as many have said, he had a VERY small circle of friends so there weren't that many people who really knew what kind of guy he was.
