They won't make the playoffs. Their offensive line is terrible. Edgerrin will help the run game a bit, but he won't have his usual season behind that line. Plus, the QB's are going to get slaughtered.

I have Sirius so I listen to Howard Stern in the morning, Jim Breuer in the afternoon. When I'm not listening to them it's all NFL Radio mostly - their training camp coverage owns so far. I don't listen much to terrestrial radio, although I do catch a few sports talk shows from time to time. I used to listen to Dave Smith all the time when he was local here in LA, his show just went national on Sporting News Radio and I don't like it as much anymore, still decent though. Colin Cowherd is another guy I listen to sometimes.

Spring college football practices are starting...

USC and Texas have good coaches, so I don't expect them to fall flat on their face. As far as young players go, that's not really the case. Inexperienced? Yes, but it isn't like they're throwing true freshman out there. That is what happened with the defense last year, and this year they have a crapload of talented young players who have some gametime experience. On the entire team, they didn't lose anyone that is totally irreplacable except for Reggie Bush, but how many teams have a Reggie Bush on their team? Not many. Aside from Adrian Peterson, there isn't one player on the Oklahoma offense that I'd choose over their counterpart on the USC offense. -
Well, the match where Big Show defeated RVD happened on July 4, so technically it's just shy of 30 days.
-
Oh man, the crowd response to that match should be one for the ages.

They won't be as dominant as they were with Bush or Leinart, but they'll be as good or better than every other offense in college football. -
The show will be on TV.

Bullcrap. He wasn't the #1 pick, end of story. He'll get what he deserves, which is #2 pick money. If the Saints are dumb enough to give him #1 money then they set a bar that they will cave in and give future picks whatever they want. And don't give me this, "Reggie is special" bull when he hasn't taken one damn snap in the NFL. The fact is simple: he was drafted number two, and no matter how much merch or season tickets he sold (which is a really big insult to every other Saint player saying they had zero to do with it) he should only get #2 money. Not a dime more. "Young, the third overall pick in April's NFL Draft, agreed to a five-year deal with an option year. The overall value of the contract could be worth as much as $58 million, and it includes $25.7 million in guaranteed money. The value of Young's deal exceeds the contract signed by the NFL's No. 1 pick, defensive end Mario Williams." http://www.tennessean.com/apps/pbcs.dll/ar...ORTS01/60727006 You were saying?

In recruiting now, are the athletes actual athletes that can play multiple positions? I hated in previous versions when I would recruit an "athlete', who had stats that would basically only allow him to be a QB, or only allow him to be a WR. I want a guy I can play at multiple poisitions.
-
He should get #1 money. He's the biggest star in the draft, and probably automatically one of the top 5 most popular players in the NFL. His jersey is flying off the rack and the Saints sold out all their season tickets once he was drafted. The guy is a superstar and he knows what he's worth.

Hey, next week's ECW show is at Hammerstein Ballroom right? I wonder if they're just doing the Sabu/Show thing to appease the Hammerstein crowd.

Love this game. I just had a semi USC-Notre Dame moment in my Stanford dynasty. I was trailing Arizona State 24-20 with under a minute left in the game. On 4th and 6 I throw up a lob to 6'7" Evan Moore who catches it, runs over the CB, and takes it about 50 yards down to the 20 yard line. Next play, I throw an out route to my other WR Mark Bradford, he gets stripped by the CB, my RB Jason Evans is right in the area and picks it up and takes it down the sideline to the 2 yardline. After that, I get a QB sneak for the TD with about 5 seconds left.

IIRC, Punk never mentions himself drinking in that story, but says that Harley Race was drunk.
-
If I was someone who never knew anything about Punk, I'd be interested, because if I hear about some clean cut, straight edge guy who dedicates his life to wrestling, I'm expecting some all-american blonde haired blue eyed guy like Randy Orton, not someone that looks like CM Punk. Plus his promos have been pretty good, they've been effective in letting you know bits and pieces about who he is, but still keeping you interested to find out more.

Hey TNA! Book Rhyno the RIGHT WAY, already.

The whole idea of a heel is for everyone to hate the guy. Not for the guy to be a "WINK WINK, I'M SUPPOSED TO BE A HEEL, BUT I'M REALLY COOL" guy that the internet creams over every week, which is almost every heel in wrestling today save for a few guys. -
I can't believe such a huge celebrity is posting on little old TSM. All hail the Queen of All Media - Brookers. Don't forget us when you take over the world. I want to stick my penis in between your two front teeth.

Talent wise I think it's an easy argument. Almost the entire roster is made up of 5 and 4 star recruits, granted, not every recruit turns out excellent, but the pure talent is there. I don't think the offense will skip a beat, personally - either Mark Sanchez or John David Booty will be really good, and they're throwing to the best WR group in the nation. They have a stable of 5-star runningbacks to choose from, at LEAST one of them will step in and be great. The O-Line is only returning two starters, but there's another guy who was the starter at LG going into last season before he got hurt. They're returning most of the starters on D (who were mostly frosh and soph's last year) and are extremely deep at LB and DB. -
Well if there's one thing this show did, it got me excited as hell for next week. CM Punk's debut, Kurt Angle's return, Big Show actually feuding with an ECW Wrestler. Could be a good show.

Who cares, really. Aside from the exceptionally bad ones (Steve Phillips), all these analysts are pretty much the same and say the exact same things. The only reason I even know of Harold Renoylds on ESPN is because I've seen him on there, not because I can remember any memorable or thought provoking analysis that he's ever given.

At Wrestlemania 43, Shane McMahon's son will be the World Champion, and Stephanie's daughter will be the Women's Champion. They will main event every episode of RAW from that point on for the next 20 years.

Kane & Taker vs. Show & Khali at Summerslam?

But, Chris Jericho is my favorite wrestler.
