I'm not even sure who's not in right now, but I can see all those guys you mentioned being inducted. Maybe Jim Duggan, although I wouldn't call him a legend.

Undertaker has to fit into the scenario somewhere though. They should have just had Orton win the fucking RR if they're going to do that. The only thing that would prove is that even if you lose the Royal Rumble, you can still get to the main event at WM ahead of the guy who eliminated you. Something like that would severely cripple the importance of the actual Rumble match, and it's something that is just stupid enough for the WWE to do. I don't see Angle vs. Orton happening though. I can't imagine them having both title matches be Face defending against Heel.

Someone on DVDR is saying Chavo was never eliminated. That he went out through the middle rope, and then while climbing the ropes from the apron he got pushed off.

I think they were just trying to get over how Mark Henry is such a "beast" that he cannot be defeated cleanly. Who knows though, I mean really, the writing is such a clusterfuck right now that it's impossible to tell.

First of all let me say I feel terrible for Edge, who after having one of the better title wins in recent memory, raised ratings on RAW each week he was the champion, including the highest rating since 2004's draft lottery last week. For all intents and purpose, his career is basically over, because he'll never be seen as a serious threat after this. I don't understand the point of Rey winning, who does he face now? It looks like they're building to Angle vs. 'Taker at WM, and likely Cena vs. HHH on RAW.

All this talk about HBK winning the RR, or the winner not even getting the title shot at WM makes me feel a lot better about the fact that I'm not ordering the PPV tonight.

The worst thing is seeing a guy wearing an extra small pink polo shirt, tight faded jeans, short hair that is done in a mohawk, and the guy is for some inexplicable reason wearing a sweatband on his arm. When did sweatbands become cool anyway? If you play in a band I can see the need for one, if you play basketball there's a need for one, if you're walking through the mall in one you're a fucking douchebag. Also, a lot of people who shop at Hot Topic generally look like shit.

I've never seen a white guy bounce his head back and forth that many times.

A lesser man could never get away with wearing that hat.

Locke definitely has his own agenda. The way he is playing Claire against Charlie is exactly the way he manipulated Boone by using his relationship with Shannon. The statues might be being kept as insurance incase Charlie acts up. My sister thinks Locke is keeping all the things that have created sin on the island (guns, drugs, etc.) sort of like a reverse Pandora's Box. I can also see the argument that Locke is hoarding all those things to give himself power and become the de-facto leader when the inevitable Locke-Jack showdown happens. Also, at the end of the show, Locke tinkered with something in the Hatch, he appeared to disable the lock or the door to the gun room where he stored the statues. He's definitely scheming

Can anyone here confirm this? The fact that this was Snitskymark's first post, combined with the fact that this probably has a -10% chance of ever happening, makes me a bit skeptical.

Shit, I think next week is another repeat.
-
Holy shit. I'm honestly shocked. There was no real build-up for anything interesting this week, does Edge really = ratings?

Next Month's Smackdown magazine has Royal Rumble winner on cover
UZI Suicide replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
He's just banking on the fact that Rey is one of the odds on favorites to win. So if Rey wins he looks like a true "insider", and if Rey loses he can just say "My relative gave me false info" or "My relative was given false info" or "They changed booking plans at the last minute". -
More info on this..

Wow, those first two are so EDGY!! ATTITUDE~!

You are really using stats as a crutch. You are assuming that Kobe is one on one with those guys every play for the entire game. Smush Parker often guards the other team's PG or SG because Kobe does so much on the offensive end that if he played with that same intensity on D, he'd have no energy by the end of the game. Granted, his defense this year is not as good as it has been in years past, but LeBron has NEVER been a good defender. He rarely ever defends the other teams 1 or 2, much for the same reason, because he'll wear out, but even without that he still couldn't defend them because he's not quick enough to. Partly because he's 6-8, but nevertheless he still can't. Reggie Miller used to light up the Bulls all the time, so did John Starks, so did Glen Rice. Doesn't mean Jordan was overrated on D, it just means he probably wasn't on them more than half the game.

This is what I was about to say. The main problem is that the last team didn't have a pass-first point guard, hell, a playmaking point guard at all, a pure shooter, and an intimidating inside force. This is my team for 2006 and 2008. Kobe "Mamba" Bryant Lebron James Michael Redd Kirk Hinrich Bobby Simmons Ben Wallace Brad Miller Josh Howard Dwayne Wade Elton Brand Rasheed Wallace Robert Horry Rasheed is on the team to be our new Barkley. Redd is a shooting machine. Hinrich is a scrappy defender who likes to pass first. Brad Miller is the center who can spot up. And, of course, Horry is the guy who will make clutch shots if they need to be made. There's no need for Horry on the team, Kobe can make the clutch shots. Bobby Simmons and Brad Miller do nothing for me. One guy who MUST be on the team, IMO, is Dwight Howard. The kid is a rebounding machine and is one of the top young talents in the league. Add Chris Bosh in there too. I love Hinrich but Chauncey Billups absolutely has to be on the squad. I'd go with.. Kobe Bryant LeBron James Michael Redd Chauncy Billups Brevin Knight (extremely underrated passer and defender) Dwight Howard Tayshaun Prince Chris Bosh Rasheed Wallace Rashard Lewis Ben Wallace Bruce Bowen

Next Month's Smackdown magazine has Royal Rumble winner on cover
UZI Suicide replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
I'm calling BS on this until you provide a link of some kind. I just find it hard to believe, considering that at the Smackdown taping Rey jobbed cleanly to Mark Henry. Would they do that to a guy who's gonna win the rumble 2 days later? (from the SD air date). Also, as stupid as the WWE may be, I don't think they've ever been dumb enough to spoil a Royal Rumble by putting the winner on the cover of their magazine before it happens. -
I'm loving the stuff I've read so far, not many other sites can offer Fantasy NBA advice from an Australian. I should have my first column up in a couple of days.
-
Orton and Mysterio both lose.. no Rumble winner is gonna lose on the last show before the event. Cancel them out.
-
Well if the rumors are true of 'Taker-Angle at No Way Out, then I doubt he's winning the RR. I just don't see Orton winning it, despite what some rumors may say. And if it's true that they haven't decided on a plan yet, then I see Orton's chances decreasing even more because I think if they made a quick panic decision on who's going to win, there's more than a few guys they'd go with over Orton. I think the winner will come from RAW, just because it has the last two years, and RAW is clearly the #1 show in Vince's eyes, so I'm cancelling out everyone on Smackdown. So the winner of the Edge/Cena match should be pretty telling, if Edge wins I highly doubt HHH wins the RR. If Cena wins HHH probably wins the Rumble. For some strange reason I still think RVD has a shot though.
