I'd love to see it, though... Eh, Ricky Steamboat got heel heat against Lex Luger as a face during their match at GAB 89. And he got heel heat against Ric Flair too.

"I ain't saying you ain't tough. What I'm saying is, you might as well take that little bandana, and go backstage for I kick your teeth down your damn throat" "Next time you call it a Hurricanrana, I'm coming down to the desk" "I'm going toi win the Royal Rumble...cause I'm BIIIZZZARRRE"

[email protected] Spike TV sent out a press release earlier today announcing they have closed negotiations with WWE regarding renewing their five-year contract. It is believed to now be a formality that WWE Raw and the rest of the weekend cable shows, Heat, Velocity and Experience, will be moving to the USA Network in September. "After several months of negotiations, we have decided to end our discussions about extending our relationship wiht WWE beyond September 2005," wrote Spike TV in a press release. "Moving forward, Spike TV will expand its investments in original programming and new acquisitions for its core audience." This is a huge blow to the network, as Raw was, by far, its most popular program and led to it be the No. 4 rated network when it came to the coveted 18-34 and 18-49 demographics.

Top 50 WWWF/WWF/WWE headliners
MikeJordan23 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in General Wrestling
I'm trying to figure out how British Bulldog as a solo entity is grouped in with Brock and Orton? Only WWF major event he headlined was SummerSlam 1992. Not true. He main evented 10 WWE pay per views(not counting rumbles obviously) SummerSlam 1992-Bret Hart I.C Title Match IYH 9.24.95-Tagged with Yokozuna against Nash and HBK-Triple Title Match(all three belts, WWF, IC and tag on the line) IYH 10.22.95-Diesel-WWF Title Match IYH 12.17.95-Bret Hart(better match then 'Slam 1992 but less remembered) Beware of Dog IYH 1996-HBK-WWF Title Match(double pin finish) King of the Ring 1996-HBK-WWF Title Match International Incident 1996-w/ Vader and Owen Vs HBK, Sid and Ahmed Johnson Canadian Stampede 1997-Hart Foundation Vs Austin, Goldust, LOD and Shamrock One Night Only-European title match-HBK (never specificed that european ppvs werent counted) Unforgiven 1999-Six Pac Challenge-WWF Title Match-HHH, Rock, Foley, TBS and Kane I'm also going to take a guess and assumed he headlined a few shows @ MSG from 1995-1996 and maybe even a couple in 1997 as well. You know what, I completely blocked Bulldog from 1996-1997 (Not sure why, 1997 might be my favorite year in the WWF). Good stuff. Still surprised to see him up there with Brock, but he did have a long career in the WWF, so who knows. -

Thanks for posting this. I've been waiting for my Observer issue to come, caus this looks real interesting. Give some feed back later. -
Dudleys on Heat Wave 99. I know it's PPV and probably okay'd, but...
-
WM 9, KOTR 99, KOTR 95 Basically all the last WCW were good but depressing.
-
Is it true around Survivor Series 1999, Jericho stated he wanted/or was going back to WCW? Or was that just a rumor stemming from the Vince/Jericho meeting? I remember on that Thanksgiving Smackdown HHH made some joke about one of the "homeless" people there being able to work better than Jericho or something to that effect.
-
Didn't Foley say he wont be at this WM? Either way, if he's not wrestling Ric Flair, I'm not interested.

For some reason, I doubt he has a hard time getting women. What makes you say that? He has a track record I don't know about? Take one look at who he is linked with.... Yeah, but she isn't much to be honest, IMO. I'm not saying he does or doesn't, I just don't see how people are assume Randy Orton is some big playboy all of the sudden? Based on what? Look at the guy. And he's on TV. He doesn't have a problem getting women. And saying "Stacy isn't much" is ridiculous. *Looks at him* Okay now what? So are a lot of other people, doesn't mean much. Sleeping with some bottom feeding groupies isn't very impressive. I'm pretty sure Jessica Alba isn't knocking down his hotel door. Regular chicks? Yeah he probably is doing well. Attractive women? That's a very unfounded thought. Oh and Stacy isn't a dog, but she isn't top ranking of lookers in the WWE, let a alone outside that company.

KRS-One has plenty of hit records, but yes, he is the GOAT Biggie is in consideration, but falls short.
-
Bret and Shawn talked to each other right after the SS 97 match, doesn't mean much.
-
Yeah, Dave Meltzer had it up as one of the matches in his update a couple days ago.
-
What about Eddy vs. Rey
-
I see what you're saying. HHH's mannerisms and overall persona does come off Douglasish to a certain extent. Oh and for the record, Shane cuts a MUCH better promo than Triple H.
-
Thanks a lot, Rick.
-
Edit: Oh I'm thinking 2001, 2002, yah Kane they unified the titles.
-
Must've been a lot of "blown" spots in that training session.

"Edge Speared Lita"

I'm saying, that 1996 thing was really out there.

Matt Hardy speaks on he and Lita splitting
MikeJordan23 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
From Meltzer Update Today "Matt Hardy is scheduled to attend Raw tomorrow night in Raleigh. I don't believe he's scheduled to appear on television. --As for more on that, as Edge's match was beginning last night in Greensboro, a front row fan had a sign saying "Edge betrayed V1." Score One for the SIGN GUY -
