Matt Leinart's pop-gun arm is not the answer. Their future QB is Andrew Walter, his arm strength is excellent. He fell to the third round cause of an injury, not cause he isn't good. Aaron Brooks is just so they can have a veteran.

Lesnar/WWE settle lawsuit by Dave Meltzer [email protected] Brock Lesnar and WWE have reached a settlement agreement on the non-compete lawsuit. Lesnar was looking to get out of his non-compete for anything related to sports entertainment as well as ultimate fighting through the year 2010, world wide. Terms were not announced. Lesnar will be able to participate in wrestling and ultimate fighting with certain agreed upon restrictions, as it was not a full victory to Lesnar. While not stated, it is believed he would not be allowed to work for TNA. Lesnar is said to be considering doing MMA, now that he is legally able.

We still don't know anything aside from him shooting the guy first. The guy could've beat his ass and then pulled out a gun. And Proof reacted, and pulled out his gun and shot first. (Ok it's in some dictionaries, but it means additional) Assuming you ment 'excessive force' that still doesn't make any sense because the 'excessive force' means you used more force than was necessary. And you're definately not "by-law" (as you put it) allowed to use it to protect yourself. That's why it's called excessive force. And if cnn's report is the truth then this guy deserved it. "excessive force" (What I obviously meant) isn't the right phrase, but "necessary force" to defend yourself from bodily harm. If someone threatens to hurt or kill you, "If, in self-defence, you seriously hurt or kill somebody who was threatening to kill you, a court may excuse your action. However, the evidence must indicate you did not have any reasonable alternative." Is what I'm saying. Until we get the facts straight, we can't just assume his actions were violence first. The guy could've simple pulled a gun out and Proof shot him before he got killed. Proof had problems (warranted and unwarranted) with a lot of people in Detroit. It's all cool from the safety of your mommy's home to say what he should and shouldn't be carrying, but in the REAL WORLD, where he's looking out for his best interest, he needed to protect himself. If that means carrying a (registered) firearm, then that's what it is. I'm not saying you have to feel sorry for him, but you have to understand the circumstances that he was surrounded with before you just rush to judgment that he's some "ignorant thug rapper" that was letting off random shots inside of a club.

So you get one little report, have no idea the situation, and already coming to these conclusions? Slow down. You have no clue what predicament he was even in to begin with. It could've been self defense for all we know. Just cause he shot first, doesn't mean he pulled out his gun first.

Proof, a member of the Eminem-fronted Detroit-based hip-hop sextet D12, was killed early Tuesday morning outside a Detroit nightclub in a shooting that left another man in critical condition. According to NBC News affiliate WDIV, Proof (real name: DeShaun Holton) suffered a gunshot wound to the head at the CCC Club on East Eight Mile Road, near Gratiot Avenue. By the time police arrived at the scene just after 5 a.m., the club — which was operating illegally, after hours — had been cleared out, but several witnesses have come forward to discuss the incident with investigators. A spokesperson for the Detroit Police Department said only that "an altercation occurred [inside the club], and shots rang out," but would not discuss the shooting further, as the 30-year-old rapper's next of kin have not yet been notified of his murder. Both victims (the other man's name has not been released) were transported to area hospitals; Proof was rushed to St. John Holy Cross Hospital, while the second victim, who is 35 and also sustained a gunshot to the head, was taken to St. John Hospital, where he's listed as being in critical condition. Proof was pronounced dead on arrival. I would guess that's some of the "cardinal magic" that Czech was talking about a while ago. Or a fluke. Would be pretty nice if he could do that sort of thing the whole season. Agreed. I don't like the line-up they have surrounding out three big hitters, but atleast we got off to a good start. And Carpenter was pitching well, but he does tend to lose a bit of focus when he has a big lead.
