Best thing I just noticed: immediately after Khali tosses 3643784 people, keep your eye on HBK (who's lying on the mat). He starts yelling 'HARD CAMERA!" to Khali and pointing toward one side of the ring. Immediately, Khali taunts at the hard camera - and the director gets a great shot.

Well, Rumble and KOTR are pretty much the only things Deadman never won in his career, so I'd say it's a "thank you" and a "let's get rid of the #30 cliche" all in one.

What was the finish between Taker-HBK?

Odd question, but I'm looking to see a pic/video of the Super Ninja, the guy the Ultimate Warrior defeated on a SNME in November 1988 or 89. It was Rip Oliver under a mask, if that helps. Thanks in advance!

I expect them to make the Rumble match a 3-way with Hardcore Holly. It's clear they didn't think Holly would be ready to work tonight so they're giving him another 5 days to recover. If I'm wrong, I'd expect them to make the Rumble rematch Extreme Rules.

Good match that served its purpose of elevating Burke, establishing Punk's momentum toward the RR, and furthering the feud between Punk and Striker.

Perhaps Layla's been shifted to ECW permanently?

Perhaps it was changed to Marcus to ensure it's pronounced correctly...

Perhaps they want to see if it's trademarked first...

I'd expect this Test-Lashley match to end in a DDQ to set up Extreme Rules for Sunday at the Rumble.

Thorn did the most blatant spot-calling and got picked up by the mics.

The addition of Sandman and Dreamer to the Rumble match means that there are 13 former World (WWE/WCW/ECW/NWA/ROH) champions in the match with a combined 50 reigns between them. And I think Brooklyn Brawler is due for a spot in the Rumble match. Use him as the comedy guy who comes out at an inopportune time (a la Scotty 2 Hotty in 2001, Hurricane in 2002, etc.)

Raw: Carlito, Chris Masters, Edge, Jeff Hardy, Johnny Nitro, Kenny Dykstra, Randy Orton, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Shelton Benjamin, Viscera SmackDown: Chavo Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Finlay, Kane, King Booker, Matt Hardy, Mike "The Miz" Mizanin, Montel Vontavious Porter, Undertaker ECW: CM Punk, Hardcore Holly, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, The Sandman The WWE is billing this Rumble as the most star-studded of all time. The 25 announced participants share a combined 47 recognized World title reigns.

Assuming Heyman wants to work in TNA...and that TNA would want to hire him...and that TNA would give him the book.

So they re-remembered that Runt is a drunk?

Taker's got to take the Rumble since he's the most over guy on all 3 rosters. Use him against Batista and get Cena-Khali and Lashley-RVD for your three main events.

Why does Lawler keep pronouncing his name as "The Great Collie?"

Cause once just wasn't enough, apparently.
