It was scheduled to be in Birmingham on 10/11, according to an August article.*sigh* If only hunger4unger had read ALL the posts in this thread....

The UK PPV for the fall was in September. They did two shows, one in Birmingham and the PPV in Manchester. WWE have not decided to stop doing UK PPV's...Where'd you hear that?

Austin/HHH, 2/3 falls, NWO '01.
'Nuff said.
-
Of course, some NEWZboardZ are claiming that there's another poster with a new logo and it has HHH and Orton on it. Nobody seems to have a pic of that one, though...

WWE have decided to stop doing the UK PPV events, probably because of low buy rates. When was this announced? I must have missed it.

WORST ANGLE EVEROh, come on, that's not even the worst WCW angle ever.
What happened after was my favorite moment in WCW!
THE DOUBLE GRINDING BEARHUG OF TOTAL REVULSION~!

Was 'Independent World' a separate promotion who worked with FMW? Was it just a nifty-sounding title to put in front of the name? I'm trying to figure it out. Do any of you know anything about it? Any response will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
(Oh, and what's with WEW? I thought they were just a faction within FMW, yet they promoted a show this past May. WTF?)

My diagram failed to come out OK when posted, apparently.

I thought about this while making a post in the TNA folder...At Halloween Havoc '95, Hogan and Wight had their monster truck match, and it culminated with Hogan "accidentally" shoving Wight off the top of the supposedly tall building to his death... if death lasts ten minutes
I never actually saw the event, but how did they do it? Was it not really that high up (i.e. they lied where they were)? Was there a platform for Wight to safely land on? Was it a camera trick?
It was a sort of camera trick: Wight simply fell off one of the ledges of Cobo Hall that wasn't directly over the arena's edge.

At least now you can kick his ass with Bret Hart all day(PS- Isn't that arena a dead ringer for MSG, circa WMX? In the other pics, you can see that it most definitely is based off of it.)

Pic #2 is a great shot; plus I find it amusing that the Candiens game is on a TV in the background.

Did Bob Backlund even have theme music when he came out for his squash match with Razor Ramon at WM 9?I was 10 at the time, I can't remember nor do I have a copy of the tape.
No, he didn't.

Check out the puro files THIS guy's uploaded.
My question is: Which matches are the best out of all of these choices?
-
I'd go with the Shane streetfight....it effectively blew off 2 major 6-month angles (Linda/Trish and Shane) and it featured the debut of the SHANE TERMINATOR~!
Oh, and I'll ALWAYS repect Vince for finishing the cage match with Austin at VDM99 despite cracking his tailbone while bumping off the cage.

Easter Eggs (hidden features):Disc 1: Ending of the Ronnie Garvin NWA World title win over Ric Flair. Access it by going to the Chapters menu, scrolling down to the Flair vs. Garvin match, click right twice. You will see the final 3 minutes of Garvin's win. (9/25/87)
So with the extra 3 minutes, wouldn't that make it the 12th full match on the DVD?
Sweetness.

Invasion theme during the Angle/Cena promo vid.
Also, GREAT segments on Kurt and Trish tonight, and an excellent choice for FTV.

It's her.
There's another thread around here featuring that SAME pic in a popup ad for a dating service.

No Mercy Theme Song - "Today is the Day" by DopeIm not kidding
Fair enough.
How'd you find this out?
-
Much appreciated.Did a little research and came up with this.
WWF @ Ottawa, Ontario - October 15, 2001
Crash Holly vs. Steven Richards
Chuck Palumbo vs. an unknown
Jakked:
Sho Funaki & Taka Michinoku defeated Raven & Justin Credible
Mike Awesome defeated Scotty 2 Hotty
WCW Tag Team Champions Matt & Jeff Hardy defeated Kanyon & Hugh Morrus
Test defeated Billy Gunn
Was this held at the Corel Centre?
Yes, it was.

Couldn't they just release unblurred Attitude-era stuff on DVD in the US and Canada only? I thought the WWF's problem was that WWE was using their acronym outside North America.
