*Creams pants* Yeah my dreams are comming true.

Atleast Bradshaw is a WRESTLER, and I use that term loosely here. They haven't hit WCW stupid just yet.

Being on a night with NO competition from RAW would be considerably better. Hell, cancel the Wednesday PPV and go there. -=Mike Damn straight. Not to knock NWA at all, but compared to WWE, they ARE bush league. They don't have equal expsoure or star talent, compared to the WWE. They need to carve out a niche and build from there. Don't even bother trying to fuck with the WWE, do everything on nights they don't do anything. Rememeber what Vince did to the NWA with the first ppv, I can only image what he would do to crush NWA now a days.

No, Mark Henry still has a job.

TNA Officially Announces Action Figures
cynicalprofit replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
Yeah we'd buy'em, but mine was more for art reasons, ki's got a great physical shape/tone deal, and as an artist, it would make for a good study and a cool toy. -
I have an idea they can steal. Have Fairplay and Rodman in a match, and then have Killings come out, kick both of their asses, and say how crappy they wrestle.

TNA Officially Announces Action Figures
cynicalprofit replied to TNABaddboi's topic in TNA Wrestling
This is really a BAD idea. You figure there average viewer is a smark, smarks aren't exactly the common age for buying toys as much as the 6-12 year old range. I mean we'll buy the Todd stuff, but wrestling figures, doubtful. But lord knows I would by a Low-ki figure without a doubt. Still time will tell wether or not this was a smart idea. -
I mean its the same character idea, the slower guy who's not on the same mental level as the rest of us, and Disnmore is able to make it HUGE. So other then maybe being a Hulkamaniac, what did, ah I forget who played him, do wrong with the character? Looking back in and all, couldn't Evad have become a monster baby face if he decided to say realize Hulk wasn't as nice of a guy as he claimed to be and have Hogan look like the heel.

TV shows which made the greatest impact
cynicalprofit replied to Vanhalen's topic in Television & Film
No disrespect to the simpsons, but Beavis & BUTT-Head is more the reason for South Park then anything else. I really see that show as the launching point for getting the young cynical viewers back into watching tv again after being really burned out by it. I mean the show had no real message or meaning, and it just drew the cynics in. You don't need a happy ending for TV show to work. -
I believe he was a silent business partner.

Hey on my dating profile I mention the shooting star press. -
Well let's see. pappajacks just used his lack of historical knowledge to try and discredit the man's presidency. cynicalprofit chimes in with the Alzheimer's joke that nobody really thinks is funny. The only thing that this Dumbshit Holiday that is the "Sad News" thread needs now is SKBF's opinion. "In the 80s, we were the REAL Evil Empire, not the Soviets. Reagan should've employed an army of food men." Hey I thought it funny. Quiety frankly, I don't give a shit that he's dead. It wasn't like he was doing anything really in the last few years of his life. Its not a suprise he died, it happened. Now lets all move the fuck on. Well, unlike you, he accomplished things. -=Mike True he did, but I didn't make mistakes on his level either. Don't see my name attachted to anything involving war.

Of course my question is; Does he even know he's dead?

"Sometimes Vince Does Things to be nice"
cynicalprofit replied to Vanhalen's topic in The WWE Folder
And thats why I'm glad Vince bought it over anyone else because seriously, who else loves wrestling as much as him? It was nice of him to get it over some dickwad who was just gonna spew out low quality dvds. Vince does care about the product and he takes his time with some of this stuff just to make sure it comes out perfect. No one else understands wrestling like Vince's does and he's the only person who can really correctly do anything with the footage. (Not taht I always agree with what Vince does, but he does care more then anyone else.) -
If this is the same guy who went before congress and admited he screwed up, bought fucking time then.

"Sometimes Vince Does Things to be nice"
cynicalprofit replied to Vanhalen's topic in The WWE Folder
He let Mick write his own book. He recruits from "real" wrestlers and gives them something to do with what they've learned, I mean knowing how to do submissions won't get you a job at most places, if they so choose to, and a lot who have been given that chance have really shined, ie angle brock and shelton. Vince hires alot of crimals and gives them a chance. I mean if you do some searching on the net, you'll find all sorts of nasty things about the real life of pro-wrestlers. He rehired, or tried to, Vince Russo. He hired back Sable of all people. He bought WCW and didn't let it fall into teh hands of someone who was in it only for the money. Vince cares about wrestling, may not always agree with him about it, but he does care. The hall of fame show thingie that just happened is a good indication of his niceness. And lets not for get good ol' JR's issues nor Jerry Lawer's. -
Wasn't the Scorpio match infact benoit's first american ppv debut? If so thats probably why they put it on, that and its a good match.
