Wasn't the Demon supposed to be Brian Adams as I remember him appearing as it for the first time? Why was it changed to Torborg? -

The faces Of Fear were pushed as a moderate force from late 96. They had a number of tag title shots against Hall and Nash one being at Starcade 96 which of course they lost. Midway through 97 Meng was put into a side feud with Chris Benoit at the same time the Crippler was going against Sullivan. They had a so called "death match" at the GAB 97. The FOF stayed together up to the summer of 1998. They split up out of nowhere and wrestled each other in the opener at Road Wild 98 where Meng won in a bad match. This was the start of the monster Meng push while the Barbarian dropped down the card. -

Well with it being confirmed that Ultraman was also Damien that means Galaxy is the same guy. That also explains why Galaxy dissapeared once Damien started to appear in WCW. Speaking of Ciclope I never understood why he was just not left as Halloween. -

Galaxy was one of the first lucha workers to come into WCW. He wrestles in Mexico but uses a long name that escapes me now. WCW likely renamed him Galaxy. He had a futuristic look kind of like a trooper from Star Wars. He appeared on a few Nitro's in early 97 against Duggan and Mysterio being the ones I remember. He was also in the WW3 battle royal in 96. Once it dies down this thread should really be added to clasics for future reading. Its awesome. EDIT- The name I found for Galaxy's alter ego is Ultraman 2000. Is there any tie to this name and Damien666? -

Thanks for the answers to the Q's guys. Funny thing was after all the push behind Abbott wasn't he just made into a joke with 3 Count? -

How did the Mortis character evolve into Kanyon? Didnt he try and join the flock as Mortis? What was the deal with Glacier returning in 99 I think? I remember him being involved with Smiley and then selling his outfit or somthing like that. Was the thing where Tank Abbott pulled a knife to Big Al's throat at Superbrawl 2000 a shoot? Speaking of Abbott, did anyone hear that one of the reasons Russo was sent home at the start of 2000 was because he wanted Tank to win the title at Souled Out after the whole Radicals afair? Did Chris Adams ever get any sort of push in WCW before his death? Was the match between Christopher Daniels and Mike Modest their only WCW appearence on TV? Also didnt Daniels land on his head and knock himself out mid match? Does anyone remember TNA wrestlers like Chris Harris, Sonny Siaki and Shark Boy being Saturday Night regulars in 2000? -

What happened during Giant Haystacks WCW run as Loch Ness? I remember him trying to get at Hogan at Superbrawl 96 I think but not much after that. -

Anyone remember when one of the NWO I think jumped out behind the Brain and he swore on air? Was this for real or part of the show? -

1. Were the lucha wrestlers disliked in the lockeroom? I seem to remember a lot of negative angles involving them. 2. What was the deel with the Kiss Demon? Wasnt he on one of the largest contracts in some time? 3. Does my memory serve me correct in thinking that Marty Jannetty was used for a while? 4. How many matches did AJ Styles have with WCW? Was he green or still really good? -

Whatever happened to Jim Powers after WCW? I remember him turning up in WCW as a lower card worker but I have not heard of him in years. What was the deal behind the Renegade? Was he a Warrior rip off? Does the Mexican Super Calo work anymore? (the guy with shades and the hat) When Sting turned heel was it by choice or was he told to? -
I used to love all the Sting vs NWO stuff from 97 Nitro. I would wait for Sting to drop from the rafters and he would tear through the whole NWO like a man possessed. Sting should have killed the NWO for good at Starcade 97 but instead things went into overdrive.
-
I have heard people say it was AJ sayng that but I have no clue if it is true or anything.
-
The midgets feature heavily on the shows aparently. This was one of the things the BDSS hosts wanted on the shows so there was not much TNA could do really.
-
Im looking forward to the show as it is the first big TNA show. It will also likely determine if I watch any future monthly shows from TNA. As long as the X Title, AMW vs XXX and the gauntlet deliver I will be pretty happy. And please no Lex Luger.

TNAwrestling.com has put up the full list of wrestlers for the gauntlet in the Victory Road section: Alex Shelly Amazing Red Chris Sabin D Ray 3000 Hector Garza Jason Cross Jerelle Clarke Kazarian La Parka Matt Sydal Michael Shane Mikey Batts Miyamoto Nosawa Psychosis Puma Shark Boy Sonjay Dutt Sonny Siaki Spanky

PWInsider is reporting that Kid Kash, Dallas and the Naturals vs Ron Killings, Erik Watts, Johnny B Badd and The Empire Saint has been added to Victory Road.
-
Johnny B Badd makes his TV debut tomorrow on Impact in a squash. He aparently is back to using the confeti guns and the like.
-
Richards has to be soon. And if he is released I would think he should find work easy enough. Btw anyone think a Billy, Chuck and Rico TNA reunion may be coming?
-
I thought Diamond was going to be a heel but obviously not going by this.
-
Does anyone think the IC Title poll at Taboo was a way to see who to cut next?
-
Gail will get in as she is good freinds with Tracy Brooks. I think they were trained together. Billy will get in im sure as TNA bookers will be wetting themselves over a NAO reunion. Chuck, Nidia and Test I doubt will get in as being serious they cant take all the WWE rejects (just most of them it seems). A-Train may be worth a push.
