Personally, I'm not a big fan of the first Evil Dead while I love the others. I most liked the comedic aspect of the series, and that one was less funny and more gross. Plus, the tree rape scene was just unnecessary and gratuitous. One friend of mine who doesn't like zombie movies explained it like this: "I'm not afraid of zombies. They're slow, they're dumb, and you can get away from them by just walking quick. It doesn't matter how many of them there are, either. I'm not afraid of one retard, I'm not gonna be afraid of a hundred of them." I don't agree with him, but I see his point.

I'm pretty sure they were kidding. Violent J will often bitch about how bad his own wrestling skills are. The $250 comment was especially funny.

Skin infection from the wounds. It's happened before. One important point: nothing in that report said he "signed on". As in, signed a waiver. That's REALLY important for this sort of thing, especially with an underaged minor. If even one of the witnesses backs up the kid's version of the story, the wrestlers could be in deep shit.

Holy SHIT, look at the cast for this thing: Seann William Scott, Miranda Richardson, Kevin Smith, Bai Ling, Janeane Garafolo, Christopher Lambert, John Larroquette, Jon Lovitz, Cheri Oteri, Amy Poehler, Zelda Rubenstein, Will Sasso, Wallace Shawn, and Justin Timberlake. And it's written and directed by the guy who did Donnie Darko. I really, really wanna see this movie.

Whoops. Great example of the ordinary public being shocked about something that's totally commonplace in wrestling. The key issues here are: 1. Did the kid or his mom sign a waiver? 2. Did they ask him if he was underage? 3. Is the kid lying to his mom so she won't get pissed at him about the wrestlers "forcing" him to get back in the ring and take the chops, or is that what really happened?

Whoever did it has real talent, weird as it is, it ain't easy. Hope they find better work for pay someday.

Oh, and Mickie/Trish was good, but certainly not the best women's match in WWE history. Go back and watch some tapes from 94-95 when the Japanese chicks were around, especially the Alundra Blaze vs. Bull Nakano matches.

Depends on a couple of things. 1. Is it "Best Of" or a truthful retrospective of the most historically important moments? 2. When do you draw the line at the NWA stopping and WCW beginning?

Page insists that he and Bischoff were neighbors on accident, that they happened to buy houses that were on the same street at the same time. Which is possible, since they're both rich, both lived in the same city, and both moved around a lot. The argument could go either way. Did Bischoff's friendship help DDP? Sure. Was it the only thing that made him a star? Fuck no. Page is a tall, muscular guy who has that "star" look. He's a very capable wrestler when he gets to call the shots (look at the miracle he dragged out of Goldberg at Halloween Havoc 98), and he had one of the best finishers in wrestling, period. Page was going to be a star in the wrestling business even if Bischoff was never born. And oh yeah, Abyss: yes, he is CLEARLY a Kane/Mankind ripoff. Even moreso if you've ever seen the original gear he had when he first debuted the character. I like his work, and he executes the gimmick well, but don't kid yourself as to where the inspiration for it came from.

For such a match to work, there would have to be a whole bunch of variables in order. 1. AJ would have to be suitably motivated to have a good match. Seriously, this is an issue, he might be afraid of Steiner hurting him or might just be pissed off that he's in this match to begin with. 2. AJ would have to be the one to call the match. He's got a LOT more moves, spots, and bumps in him than Steiner does. But that leads to... 3. Steiner has to be willing to work with his younger opponent and understand that he has to make AJ look good, and it's not just the Steiner Show out there. 4. Steiner has to be as healthy as he can be. He needs to have all his nagging injuries thoroughly rehabbed, and losing some of that freakish muscle mass would honestly do him a lot of good. IF all four of those criteria are met, then AJ and Steiner could indeed have a good match... but I don't think it's gonna happen.

Porcupines, and I'll tell you why: skunk stink is temporary. Here in Tennessee you can't go a week without driving by some black/white/red carcass on the side of the road that used to be a skunk and smells so goddamn bad that even the flies and maggots avoid it. Sometimes the smell of it lingers on your car and you have to have it washed. But, point is, eventually, you almost get used to it. It's just a bad smell, after all, and not even the worst one out there. But porcupines on the other hand? Piss one of those off, and you're looking at surgery, my friend.
