IIRC, a little while back Mike figured out that he could post here again somehow. I don't know if it was some mod quietly unbanning him, or whatever. He decided not to come back. Hey, we've also got people like Malibu from yankee country and Lushus from a cornfield in the middle of nowhere. Plus I'm living in Texas now, and while it was a part of the Confederacy, TX still seems to think of itself as being its own little country.

Yeah. It took me a minute to get what they were referencing, Kenny was in the car and I was like "this rings a bell... sort of...", but once the badly-drawn chick with the crazy huge breasts showed up it finally clicked. Anyone else catch the shot at the NYC mayor's press conference with his glowering wife? And having Cartman unknowingly be Schindler was pretty amusing.

As far as I've seen, Dama has behaved himself over at the Pit. Admittedly I never go in the sports folder, but nobody's complained about him there. WP on the other hand has gotten even worse. Even WE banned him, and he's, like, the third person ever to get banned at the green board.

Fuck a buncha Hulu. In fact, fuck any online streaming video which forces you to watch commercials in the middle of the shit. This is annoying enough with the TV shows, but they do it with the movies too. In a ninety minute film, they'll stick in eight different unskippable ad breaks. And with no regard to the movie itself either, they'll randomly cut to commercial at the worst time, right in the middle of something important.

How does one person equal "The Pit"? That's the one thing that bugs me, when people talk about The Pit as if it's a homogenous group of identical people who all hold the exact same opinions.

Big! Where the hell you been hiding. I've actually never ordered a PPV. I was the only wrestling fan in the family, and there was no way in hell to convince the others to pay thirty bucks for that sort of thing. So this put me in the odd situation of actually attending a PPV live before I ever saw one on TV. It was WCW's next-to-last show, Superbrawl Revenge, and it was a surprisingly good show, and me and my girlfriend both got great seats for like twenty bucks apiece. First one I watched on TV was Summerslam 2001, in a sports bar along with the legendary FK Teale. Oddly, I can still remember the first PPV I watched on videotape as well, it was Summerslam 98.

Yeah it is. And last night's episode was great. I love how Parker & Stone seem to have this kneejerk reaction where they need to have the opposite opinion of whatever the mainstream feels at the moment. Everybody's dogging on Ms. Spears? Make an entire episode which is basically one long Leave Britney Alone. And I did enjoy the "Lottery" tie-in too.

Back in Tennessee, it cost you $6 minimum to go to a movie theater. More like 8 or 9 if you go to one of the giant multiplexes. And TN generally has a real low cost-of-living compared to the rest of the country. So I'm surprised that it's much lower anywhere else. Yeah, of course there's discount second-run theaters, but there aren't many of them, I haven't seen one in years.

I'm gonna throw out a wild prediction here: the 6th is Jack's dad. Remember back in the Season 3 finale, when we had our first flash-forward of Jack in the future, but we didn't know it at the time? He talked about his father at least a couple of times as if he were alive and well. Like when someone accused him of being drunk, he said something to the effect of "Get my father down here right now, and I bet he's drunker than me". Remember the whole deal about his body going missing and Jack seeing visions of him, and he would fit in perfectly as the mystery body in the flashforward coffin whom nobody but Jack bothered to pay their respects to.

Cause some people like to spend 3-4 bucks on a film and watch it with a little bit of an audience on a big screen then buying it? Where the hell is this magical movie theater which charges three dollars?

Yep, that's all in there too, though mainly in the Old Testament (you know, before the part where the guy comes in and talks about loving your neighbor and stuff). Not trying to derail this into religion talk, but the old "the New Testament has no intolerence or violent shit" talking point is just false. Jesus talked a lot about how we should fear God, and all the wrathful smiting that He would visit upon us, and how almost everyone is going to hell, and so forth. D'oh, you're right.

No, abstinence programs have generally proven to be useless. My point was that I bet there's a serious lack of discussion most places about why black girls have such a higher rate of infection. Far-righties will spew their "SEE, YOU CAN'T TRUST THE DARKIES" drivel over the AM band about it, but everyone else will probably ignore it entirely.

Every time Tommy Dreamer piledrove some girl, or Stone Cold stunned one just for the hell of it, it kinda creeped me out. That's not the sort of message you want to be broadcasting. If it's a heel guy hitting a face girl, that's okay, because the whole point is that only an evil piece of shit would do something like that. If the man and woman are portrayed as equals having an competition, even better. Someone here mentioned Mickie Knuckles in a derogatory manner. I've had that frightening young woman elbow me upside the head, and it felt like getting hit with a brick. Trust me, she can take care of herself.

The most eyebrow-raising part of that survey: Betcha nobody (aside from the O'Reillys and Coulters) will ever bring up that point. I could imagine that just mentioning this apparent fact would bring on the crying about omg-raycist~! Wait... ozone's bad now?

This was my absolute least favorite type of Lost episode: one which just hit you with a bunch of swerves and did zero to explain how they came to be. It's like Vince Russo wrote it; making the audience say "OMG WTF?!" is a bigger concern than actually moving the plot forward or anything. Plus, simultaneous parallel flashback and flashforward, that's just fuckin' cheating.

Shame on you people. Cartman jerking off Ben Affleck was one of the bigger laughs from that season.

Why do you keep bringing that up? Never would've happened if he hadn't, y'know, had his picture taken while he was wearing a turban. Everyone who's really fucking dumb. Far as I can tell, dumb people make up the majority of the world. YOINK

Dammit, I wanted to say that. But as much as it causes my Hamburger Helper to bubble back up the esophagus to type this, I agree with Czech. Even aside from his speaking skills and charisma, which are admittedly formidable, I do think he got lucky by being in the right time and the right race. America just seems like it's ready for a black President now in a way that it's never been before.

I liked Imaginationland. They probably could've cut out some of the repetitive stuff and made it into just two episodes instead of three, but it was certainly a lot better than the last mutli-parter (that awful one about Cartman in the future with athiest beavers, or whatever the fuck). True dat, yo. It was, quite literally, unbelievably bad. That was such a horrible, worthless, offensive episode that it took me a while to get my faith in the show back.
