Bingo. As for jail charges, well, it depends on a lot of different stuff. Like if the tests come back and say that the passenger was hopped up on crank and hanging out the windshield howling at passing cars and then his flailing legs kicked Nick in the face and caused the accident... well, not saying that's all likely, but there's all kinds of variables to take into account in these cases.

I just plain disagree. I think the dialogue was weak, but not so bad it wrecked the movie, and I don't feel you at all on the other stuff (although I give you the name "Doctor Satan" is pretty lame). Now that IS true. I could watch an entire movie of nothing but that and be mightily entertained. Oh, all that crap he said about doing a Real Horror Film and rescuing it from the current teenyboppers and such, all that was just plain hype bullshit. (Especially since it's more of a comedy than anything else, really.) But I was talking about what you said about it being bounced from studio to studio, which was the fault of nobody but dumbass Hollywood suits who were afraid of anything edgier than Scream 4. Ironically, ever since Saw came out and restored gratuitous brutality to the multiplexes, I think he would've had a lot easier time marketing the same movie today.

Nobody's ever been able to tell my exactly why they hated HOTC, in a specific and detailed manner. They mostly just say "Zombie is teh sux0rs" about his writing and directing, take some potshot at Sherri, and leave it at that. Like, what dub said about the controversy/hype, none of that was Zombie's or the movie's fault. It wasn't all that different from a hundred other horror flicks. It was other people making a fuss over absolutely nothing.

Some wrestlers do that. Mostly indy guys who've been in for more than a year or two but less than ten. But I've never met a non-worker who was quite that sad.

"Team Nintendo on offense, Wario hands off to Pikachu, the scrappy little pokemon makes a feint right but fast breaks to the left, pass to Yoshi, the dino tries for a three-pointer, OH NO the ball got eaten by the giant fucking robot head."
-
What is with the extreme Zombie hate 'round here? HOTC was a fairly entertaining film. Not a masterpiece by any means, but it wasn't supposed to be. It was just trying to be one part satire and one part tribute to old 70s horror flicks, and it did that just fine. Devil's Rejects wasn't trying to be a horror flick at all, more like a "road trip with murderers" type thing like if Bonnie & Clyde and Kalifornia had a mutant kid. Yeah, his dialogue is a bit clumsy and overladen with profanity at times, and his music video editing in the first movie was a little annoying, and his wife is a bad actress, but that's the worst I can say about the guy.

Who knows if she's on 'em or not? She was on them for damn near the entire 90s from what some people say. In fairness, Sunny is nearly a decade younger than either Missy Hyatt or Nicole Bass (I assume it's her). What, the woman in the cowboy hat? It's not Bass, but I'm not sure who it is.

I love how they're paying Pacman Jones more money than anyone else in the company to literally stand around and do nothing. And Haws brings up a good point: when IS the last time Raven won a match? Hell, when's the last time he wrestled on Impact? Why does TNA even bother employing this guy when they barely use him at all? When every source available is reporting that Joe is NOT staying, why does he still get to keep beating people on his way out? Which time? I counted three of 'em.
-
Come on WB, you don't recognize the walkin' riot Missy Hyatt?

Most of those millions wouldn't ever have been born in the first place without technology. And "bring an end to the planet"? Once again, you high? Even if we detonated every nuclear bomb on the planet simulatneously, the world itself would still be here. Humans might not be, but that's a different argument. We do not have the ability to destroy an entire globe.

And how would you stop evolution and the learning process? Yeah, it's easier to kill people, but it's easier to save them with medicine too. That's why folks live past 30 now and mostly they didn't a couple millenia ago. Technology has brought us hot running water, the mass dissemination of ideas, antibiotics, microwave popcorn, and Monica Belluci. To trade all that just because you're afraid of getting shot would be plain stupid.
-
What? Are you fucking high? So you've never heard of Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, Alexander the Great, Francisco Pizarro, any of the various conquering tyrants who didn't find it impossible to kill millions of people long before modern technology? The fact that you're saying this ON A COMPUTER is all kinds of lol.

Hell, you could STILL do it. Sigourney apparently is one of those freaks who only ages one year for every three that she lives. Do a combination of Earth Hive and Earth War, basically the aliens get loose on earth and our heroes have to find the alien home planet in order to find a way to stop them. Throw a Predator into the cast just for fun. Hey presto, better movie idea than any they've put on screen since 1986.

The most godawful thing about that one is how many great people it took to make a shitty movie. Joss Whedon is a fine writer (shut up haterz). Jeun-Pierre Jeunet is an awesome director, as anyone who's seen City of Lost Children or Amelie knows. Sigourney Weaver, Ron Perlman, Michael Wincott, Brad Dourif, Dominique Pinon, and Dan Hedeya are all damn fine actors (and even Winona is okay in the right part). But whoa jesus did their combined synergy make this movie suck. At least David Fincher had the excuse on 3 that it was his first-ever feature film.

He's overstating the case when he claims to know the Bible better than anyone (it's the elderly guys who have read all the original Hebrew and Aramaic scripts I'm thinking of), but it's true that Milky knows it better than at least a couple of people I've known who were professional religious scholars.
-
Alien was better. They both ruled, and all the rest of the sequels sucked. How bout we leave it at that?
-
Bush's quote sounded like a glorified version of that, but most of the righties I've seen comment on this are more like "about damn time".
-
What, you missed the Haliburton scandal? War profiteering happens in pretty much every war, unfortunately. This is just the latest crummy example.
-
Holy SHIT she's hot again. How the hell did that happen!? At the Hardcore Homecoming show she looked like a depressed walrus.

And to think this is the same man who damn near reduced me to tears of rage and despair in the "Bible is literally true" thread back n tha day.

Chris Benoit Dead - Toxicology results released
Jingus replied to Human Fly's topic in The WWE Folder
Motion to never close the Benoit thread ever just to spite all the people who keep whining that it should be closed. -
Yeah it does. Repeatedly. Of course most of that stuff is in the Old Testament, so a lot of sects get around that by just claiming that the first edition rules are no longer valid. But some of it still lingers on even in the NT.

If you've never seen and/or didn't like the first Predator and first two Alien movies, you forfeit all rights to speak in this discussion. (And having read one of the dozen or so AvP comics would help too.)

I don't know if it's the reign itself, or the boring guy who's holding the dumbass spinny belt. I don't remember this kind of huge "drop the strap now or diiiiiiiie" sentiment when, hmmm, it's hard to think of a long recent reign, aha, when RVD had the ECW television title for a year and a half.
