I swear the Yankees actually brainstorm ways to score runs without actually getting hits. Heres a new one. Break up a double play by giving the 2nd baseman a bloody nose, which disallows him to get the ball, which allows a run to score.

Just like to point out that Karsay looks to be BACK to his 01-02 to form. It really does give the Yanks a great bullpen, with Sturtze, Karsay, Gordon, Quantril who hasn't even pitched yet, F-Rod and Stanton. Plus Mo. edit: Fucking jinxed him.

The difference is, Mariano's two pitches are fastballs, both basically at the same speed. Wagner and Schmit and Glavines two pitches are at two different speeds.

Yep. He complained about everything. And his complaints weren't even valid, as he really didn't have a good season. His D wasn't even that great. He cost us at least two games last year not getting to balls in CF. I mean, I could have understood his anger when Jeter was struggling early, but when Jeter just got MAD hot in May, and A-Rod finally fit in the two spot, where the hell else would he bat?
