  1. This is the sellout album. They show none of the previous inspiration and motivation and have fallen in line with the most mediocre of this soulless mass that continue to offer nothing of note after the death of truly great and meaningful Death Metal spirituality and concepts. I honestly hope that they can make some money for themselves in the next year or two of touring, and then gracefully call it quits because it's clear that the drive isn't there any longer. They would only be tarnishing their legacy.
  2. Down II is somewhat less offensive as passive background noise during a social gathering, so I guess it wins out over Reinventing.
  3. If you want to hear the very best that Phil Anselmo had to offer, listen to the first Down album. He's never come close to that performance on any of his other works.
  4. Marvin, wasn't this a girl that your were pining over for a long ass time, and was scared to meet and all that shit? From your sig, it looks like you're gonna meet. You're gonna be awkward as hell and stuttering and retarded, and she's gonna fuck yer brains to jelly. Well done. She doesn't seem to like herself much though, and wants a lot of positive attention although she doesn't think she deserves it. You'll give her that attention because y'all will hit it off famously, but then she'll become all clingy, then possessive, than fucking nutty, then insane, then she'll try to murder you in 5 months after a lot of hell and you finally getting the balls to leave her. 6 weeks after that she will succeed in ending your life, and her own in a truly macabre murder then suicide involving her drugging the both of you, then dragging the both of you off the side of a high bridge into the river below. Her smashed torso will be found 5 kilometers downstream, while the only earthly remains of you to be found are a single running shoe and the tattered remains of your best dress shirt that you wore on your first date with a new girl you met online and got along with. Nobody will ever figure out what happened to her. Godspeed, Marvin!
  5. How come I can't get this kind of reaction when I troll you guys?
  6. the forum put that space in there
  7. There is some faggotry afoot. This may be a broken idea since the code won't copy out of the post window properly for you all to enjoy the neat java thingy This forum doesn't allow my javascript tomfoolery? WTF!
  8. java script:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.getElementsByTagName("img"); DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=(Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5)+"px"; DIS.top=(Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5)+"px"}R++}setInterval('A()',5); void(0); Plug this into your firefox browser address bar.
  9. So like, Mole is the real boss of this place? Nobody updated me on the changes between like august and this month when I was gone.
  10. This is really a terrible album. I wish that it wasn't true because goddamn, they have some incredible ideas and possible directions that swirl around on this record. Trouble is, they're brilliant ideas that are at best half thought out, ridiculously clinging to Nu Metal standards, and meandering voyages that serve to sabotage their songs. Maybe it would be more apt to say that this album is more of a terrible dissapointment. It doesn't even seem to have the quirky humour that is fun on the previous Mastodon stuff I've heard.
  11. Listening now... They didn't write the album while huffing paint with Neurosis!
  12. Only their first album (Theatre Of Tragedy - 1995), if you must go with this style at all. It says all that needs to be said within that genre and presentation of music. Very bombastic and simplistic gothic cross metal and acceptable melancholy. I have must nostalgia for this album.
  13. In almost every review published (especially in mainstream media), the "reviewer" is just fleshing out the hype packages that are sent along with the promo copies of albums. If you've ever seen ads pages in mags like Metal Maniacs, you'll see what I mean.
  14. That will not work as a catchphrase.
  15. Ad Hominem fallacy! Sorry, Iron Maiden thread
  16. Would it be too cliche to just goatse the fuck out of his site?
  17. Guarding what?
  18. I believe we were at the point where I was calling you on trying to derail my train of thought with fallacious arguement. I think that I may have been offline for just long enough for me to forget how to messageboard, and for y'all to forget what a misery I can be to chat music with The new Maiden album is suprisingly good, by the by.
  19. You've misread what I've slightly mis-typed on that point. "Heavy makeup and costumes creating false beauty in the pop artists" maybe? Red Herring. And don't be so silly. Really now, haven't I taught you anything!? Laz, I haven't forgotten about you amidst all my trolling here. Explain to me why those guitarist you mentioned along with Zakk Wylde are great. And none of them "Fucken Rock!", so that is out the window as an option
  20. Just watch whatever music television station you prefer. Heavy makeup and costumes creating false beauty and pop music. Christina Aguilera and Nightwish are all the same. Embrace illusion.
  21. No, he's really not. No, he's really not.
  22. Netslob fails as an infoterrorist.
  23. http://lbn.threat.tv/mrhands.mpg Mr. Hands
  24. You guys changed hd while I was gone. I was disoriented for a minute. Hail Mr Hands.
