Maybe it was Kenzo White Dude? Rumors are his character is immortal.
-
didn't they both go over, though?
-
I'm going to go ahead and say that I'm impressed with how far Candice Michelle has come since her debut as far as in-ring ability. Obviously she's not up there with Mickie James and Victoria, but she's pretty damn close.
-
I love Bret Hart's heel turn speech and subsequent beatdown of HBK. "The American wrestling fans, coast to coast, can kiss...my...ASS!"
-
Hiro putting his glasses back on in disbelief of Kenzo being a white guy was classic. and who's the major villian this year? Sauron?

I don't understand...okay so he quit because he was getting suspened for violating the wellness policy, decides he'll come back after what would have been the equivelant of the 60 day supsension is up and is then going to demand a new contract worth more money? Am I reading this correctly? Did he officially quit or was he just threatening? Did he not officially quit, serve his suspension and have the nerve to demand more money on return?

yeah, Vin's just not able to pull off anything more than silent brooding warrior that speaks occassionally a la Riddick. He couldn't even pull off dying in Saving Private Ryan. I don't like the Fast and Furious franchise, but I actually didn't mind Tokyo Drift...UNTIL Vin's cameo at the end. Totally not needed.

as far as throwback uniforms, I have to go with the Lion's all blue, no stripes jersey, silver no stripe pants and blue socks that go to the knees.

Jim Mora by far. He gets extra points for the facial expressions.

Have you not paid attention to how ineffective Grossman has been? They might have to use a quarterback capable of less if it means fewer horrible mistakes. Grossman hasn't even been a rollercoaster. He's just been shitty. Oh well. Cubs are hot, Hawks are on the upswing and that's a week away. Somehow, I don't think Griese is the answer you Bears fans are looking for.
-
LOL Griese chants...have they not paid attention to that guy's pro career? WTF am I saying? I'd take him over LOLsman

Deon...50 Cent is the very definition of "mainstream act", come on dude...
-
if McKidd is half as good as he was in Rome this will definitely be watchable.

So Target's selling the Iron Man animated movie for $10...it's kind of a no-brainer at that price, but should I pick it up?

absolutely, Bobby...my only gripe was HBK's random appearance. I mean, I know he's part of the ME card group, but he just kinda comes out, wanders around, looks completely stoned/drunk, picks up a chair and a piece of cage piping and really just doesn't do anything of note. -
see that's where it gets fuzzy because they mention numerous times his friendship with Pillman and he's bitched about "previous treatment" before, as you said. Gotta love revisionist history.

you're not alone, especially with it just being a lame ass Playboy spread. Now if they did a Club International lesbian shoot, I'd probably check it out. -
The first movie is great, one of my all time favorites...overall it's a good trilogy that often gets overlooked when compared to other trilogies, though they start to get a little too silly with the goofy time paradoxes. You can't go wrong with Michael J. Fox though, shame about the Parkinson's disease.

going in to WM13, didn't Steve Austin say something to the effect that he's never given up in his whole life? I'm almost positive I've seen bleach blonde Sting force Stunning Steve Austin to submit to the Scorpion Deathlock. Maybe not? But hey, two different guys there!

Something with Owen maybe or maybe a DX vs. Owen/Bulldog tag match? UT was wrapped up with Kane so that would have been out. -
I would imagine they patched up the relationship, realizing what a skank Lita is and that Matt is better off without her anyway, however Matt still doesn't quite trust Edge again and will not be bringing him around the current girlfriend. Being on the same brand, they probably go out to the bars, clubs or whatever from time to time, but it's juuuuust not the same as it used to be.

-Cena isn't the most over guy in the company -Matt Hardy and Edge's fallout was a work because they're good friends now just some recent nuttiness going on up there.

You're right, he doesn't...at least not by choice. Wasn't the original plan for Hart to drop the title to Austin at WM14 before Shawn Michaels and politics came in to play? -
I'd say Jeff, Taker and Rey are all more over than Cena. The last one may also be pushing him for merch sales. Define over, in your eyes. Whether it's face heat or heel heat, it's hard to say that too many guys can sustain a reaction from the beginning to the end of a match like Cena does. Jeff Hardy gets that initial pop and pops for his high spots. UT gets the initial pop and the victory pop, but unless he's in a match with a top notch worker, the fans are sitting on their hands during the match itself. Rey, I'd put him in with Jeff Hardy. Cena is getting a strong reaction from the moment he shows his face to the moment he leaves. The crowd reaction during his WM22 match with HHH was so surreal. I don't recall ever hearing anything like it, at least not in the WWE.
