Don't they bring Special Editions out first these days anyway? They usually do, but then a few years later the release some other edition of the movie, which makes the original "Special Edition" not seem so special. what Anti said... back in the day (I'm an old man, you see), most DVDs were bare bones...I bought them, and of course, years later, special editions all come out. I'm not buying them again...I never watch the special stuff anyway. and I used the term "back in the day" in reference to DVDs, amazing how time flies.

the problem with those character designs is recognition. Optimus is easy to figure out. Bumblebee is the yellow guy. Megatron will be the primary Decepticon focus so we can figure that out. The others...who's who?

to be honest with you guys, at least from a special effects standpoint...and probably a script and acting standpoint as well...that could have made for a decent TV show considering it was the early 90s.

It took me 3 sittings to watch Batman Begins all the way through. The first time, i was doing stuff around the house while it was on the tube, the second time I was just too tired and turned it off half way through, finally got around to watching it all the 3rd time. It was alright, not my favorite comic book flick. I'll take Batman 89, simply because it moves at a faster pace.

I think it's pretty cool that they've got the original Optimus voice actor (Peter Cullen) doing the role for the movie. it is certainly a sticking point for me. overall, I'm prepared to be disappointed, but I think this might actually be a fun flick.

I got a school permit at 14...the test consisted of driving around the parking lot and across the street in a nearby neighborhood. No interstate driving, no long distance stuff. Nothing fancy, no roadside emergency tests or anything. If I was 16 getting my license, I would have had to do all that. At 16, walked in to get my real license, simply had to redo the written test and off I went with my new license.
