I'm almost in the exact same boat as you...I didn't latch onto this show until the last 4 or 5 episodes of the first season...hell I didn't see the first 8 episodes until they replayed them all this past year. I will also fully admit that the amount of sex and cursing on cable TV pulled me in and the actual plot and characters kept me there.

don't mind me, I just think Matt McNamara is pretty much the worst character in the history of TV and he ruins an otherwise good show.

I mean, he fucking OUTMUSCLED two guys at once! At no point in this series have I been lead to believe that Matt is powerful enough to do that.

the thing about Asians in Hollywood, unfortunantly, is that they're automatically typecast simply because they're asian!

well obviously they stop the explosion and then a new villian arrives...or they could keep the explosion and have the Heroes deal with the fallout from it. I find it interesting that the plot involved New York exploding and there aren't any bleeding hearts crying 9/11 over it.

EHME, I'm still seeing Terrance Howard rumored to play Jim Rhodes...talk about damn fine casting. Now, who plays Mandarin? Someone chinese? Of course, in Hollywood, it doesn't matter, Asian is Asian. Ken Watanabe? Chow Yun-Fat? It's gotta be someone middle-aged, somewhat handsome...Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa perhaps? He did play Shang Tsung pretty well, after all.

I'm right there with you, although E-motive was the worst fucking thing I have heard in my life and I've heard The Ataris live. I know what the purpose of it was but it was still horrible. I opted to skip E-motive...Mer De Noms and 13th Step are as far as I got...and 13th Step wasn't all that great...I could listen to Mer De Noms over and over again.

I'm 80% positive the movie ends with Dumbo flying behind the circus train with his mom in the caboose waving at him as he followed them to their next destination...

yeah...I'm a tad hazy on Ice Age with the copout ending of Dennis Leary's character living, but I suppose it's a kid show so they couldn't kill him off. Mufasa dying was a choke up moment.

I tell you what though, The Incredibles is one of the greatest animated movies (CGI or otherwise) I have ever seen. Also, Don Bluth was a severly underrated artist who's studios pumped out a few good hits: Secret of NIMH, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Land Before Time, American Tail, the Dragon's Lair/Space Ace games...
