Jesus, I could barely make it through the normal length of the third one. I cannot imagine it being 10 seconds longer, let alone somewhere between 35 and 50 minutes. The second one, yeah I could handle a longer version of that and a longer first one would be good if it's tacked onto the end to make it continue being fun. But that third one was brutal. I'm with you on this one...the ending to RotK was so agonizing to sit through at the theater...just kept going on and on and on and on. I have the theatrical releases of the Trilogy and have only watched each one once.

in a boneheaded move on HBO's part, the first episode of the new season of The Wire is available for viewing on Cox Cable's HBO OnDemand...however, I haven't watched it yet as I am currently working my way through Season 3. I watched the first few minutes of it before clicking it off. They may have fixed this by now, though, so don't yell at me if you don't see it on there. Season 4 officially starts 9/10.

As far as I can tell, Nebraska has always had lame games prior to getting into conference play...I can't remember the last time they faced a team the caliber of USC before getting into conference play.

Nebraska's defense looked fantastic...but they better polish up that offense just a tad more before the USC game. They should have scored at least 2 more TDs earlier on but made some stupid mistakes. It's nice to see ND NOT manhandle Georgia Tech

24/7 is well worth it...at just 7 bucks a month...definitely get it...as Venkman pointed out, there is some good good stuff on this week. You get PPVs about 3 months after they aired, so you can just record htem rather than buy the DVD. They throw in about 3 other old PPVs each month so you can hopefully find something you missed...they show some pretty solid MSG shows as well as house shows at other venues. Get it, it's well worth it!
