I think I might just go with the Wii...I'm digging the backwards compatibility and it's in a reasonable price range.

I feel the same way about Paintball being showcased on ESPN as a "pro sport". re: Bill Walton cartoon...does Robert Smigel do those or are they jsut inspired by his artwork? re: ATH...I haven't watched that show in months, is Reali gone or just on vacation?

I like when girls on Facebook list themselves as being In An Open Relationship With some other female friend of theirs. By "like," I mean "quickly get sick of." gotta love the sudden surge in the "bisexual female" population...like it's some kind of fad or something. "It's cool to be bi!"

what was sillier is that there were a few episodes where the Autobots DID fly and then suddenly, one day, they couldn't. Honestly, giving them all the ability to fly, unassisted, kind of defeats the purpose of their transformations...why would Starscream need to tranform to jet mode if he can just fly in robot mode? (other than more speed, I suppose)

HELL YEAH! oh and if you guys want garbage, check out GI Joe: Sigma 6...it's horrible! to answer Dama, Cobra Commander was a scientist within the Cobra La world and one of his experiments blew up in his face, heavily scarring him. He turned to a life of terrorism for whatever reasons and left Cobra La and his life there behind to form Cobra.

from what I understand, the movie was written either during Season 1/halfway into season 2 or right before any Season 2 episodes were written...that would explain why Kup was rattled a bit when Devastator formed...the other Gestalts hadn't been created yet (otherwise you would think they would simply call in Defensor or Superion)...in fact, the only Season 2 TFs in the movie were Blaster, Perceptor, Astro Train, Blitzkrieg, Dirge, Thrust and Ramjet, and I believe they were all introduced prior to any season 2 episodes featuring other Gestalts.

if they did, I missed it too.

I love the "RIP ECW" talk...that shit was RIP when the thought of a "new" ECW was first conceived.

poor Nitro...even WITH Melina, he gets zero reaction. He needs the piped in heat badly!

And Lushus, the spelling is Medellin. LOL @ Median

Personally, I think they missed the bus on Orton back during the Taker fued...unless they do something drastic...SOON...he won't be any higher than Christian was on the card. I like the guy, backstage issues aside...I can see some potential there...but sticking him in a fued with Hogan which he'll lose is not the answer. Hell, he's supposedly fueding with HHH and you just KNOW HHH isn't losing that one.

my only guess is that with the emergence of Steve Austin followed by the departure of Bret, it made sense to put the belt on a credible heel for Austin to beat at WM...now I don't know all of the politics involved backstage, guys like HTQ do, but my GUESS is that at some point prior to Montreal, Austin was penciled in for a title win at WM14 already. I had heard they were going to run another Bret/Austin match at WM before this happened, correct? Makes sense, then, to put the belt on the next biggest heel in line, which would be HBK.

ah come on man, there's no way a Green Lantern movie could get close to Spider-Man numbers if Superman and Batman couldn't even do it...outside of us dorks, the casual movie fan(and even comic book fan in some cases) doesn't know Lantern like they know the other 3. It'd get FF4/Daredevil/Punisher numbers at best.

heh, I didn't even notice he had Hoff off the scale until the 2nd time I looked at it, just now.

if we suspect someone has been drinking, we monitor them. They do anything to confirm the suspicions (stumble around, nod off, etc.), we have on-site breathalyzers to use on them. If they have been drinking, they have the option of going to counseling that our insurance company offers or they can lose their job. If anyone is hurt at work or if one of the power equipment operators causes an accident, they immediately have to go and get piss tested for drugs and alcohol. The same stips apply if those tests come back positive.

what's lame about it is that everyone knows there's a long enough wait between super hero movie sequels (2-3 years, right?) that he very well could get "Median" (sp?) done prior to starting on "Aquaman 2".
-
agreed on both counts...HBK had a hard enough time with it last year.

I'm still proud of you Marvin, even if this thing doesn't pan out...experience, good or bad, goes a long way...now you won't be so hesitant the next time out!

I have a baaaad feeling about this...

thanks Rando, I couldn't quite remember it all...did they explain why exactly Wheeljack didn't make them any smarter right from the get go?
-
exactly...the humans keep getting themselves in dumb situations that requires the Autobots to bail them out...and it makes you wonder how much of it Optimus Prime can actually put up with before deciding that maybe these humans are more trouble than they are worth. To be fair, mostly it was the Decepticons doing shit to the humans, not really humans doing dumb shit on their own, that caused the Autobots to help out. Spike always got himself in ridiculous jams
-
totally agree...I'm not expecting anything from G1, I'm just geeked about a movie based on one of my all-time favorite things.
-
eh it's just 30 bucks...no problems so far!

I'm not sure about the movie, but from the series: The Autobots needed bigger, stronger TFs to combat the Decepticons...Wheeljack and Ratchet (two Autobot inventors/engineers/builders etc.) found dinosaur fossils inside the mountain I mentioned earlier and used them to help create 5 Dinobots. For some odd reason, they made these TFs to be about as dumb as the real Dinosaurs are always believed to be.
