while I agree that the chemistry between Tobeyand Kirsten is kind of lacking, the casting of Tobey as Peter Parker is one of the best casting moves I've ever seen.

I like when teams find one thing to harp on when they lose but don't realize if they had done 2 or 3 OTHER things a little bit better, they wouldn't have been in a position to have that ONE thing beat them. yeah I think he took whatever it was that hit him and transferred it into his own energy blasts be it a lightning strike from Storm, an optic blast from Cyclops, a kinetic charged card from Gambit, etc. I'll admit, I liked Bishop from the standpoint that he was a black character. It was pretty cool to see him as a major player in The Age Of Apocalypse storyline.

Though I still read comic books at 25, so thats pretty fucking nerdy. I play through a video game like twice a year now. Watch lots of movies. Watch very little TV now (Basically The Office, Veronica Mars and whatever FX show is on.) Don't really watch wrestling anymore, though I buy a tape or DVD about once a year. Oh, and I've seen my good share of anime, though I don't think I've watched anything besides a couple Miyazaki movies in the past year. well, I dabble in wrestling, movies (Star Wars especially), cartoons (Transformers especially), games, computers, comics (though I haven't picked one up since the late 90s)...pretty much the same as any other guy. While I know stuff about all those categories, I'm by no means an expert in any of them so I don't consider myself a total geek in any of them.

If you find yourself liking whatever shoot-esque stuff ECW does you should check out the pinned "Matches for a newbie" thread in the MMA folder. oh I'm not a stranger to MMA, just not the biggest fan...back in 95 (or was it 96?) thru 98, we used to catch all the UFC PPVs...the Royce Gracie/Dan Severn/Ken Shamrock etc. days...I pay attention, it's just not my thing...do you have links to clips/matches in that thread? I'll check it out. but seriously, is it too much to ask for a guy to kick, punch or even fucking bite his way out of a resthold?

I'm not a huge MMA fan, but I admit, I'd love to see guys at least pretend to attempt to get out of those lousy resthold...honestly, who just lays there and lets theirself get choked out? (yes, i do understand why restholds are used, by the way)
