Maybe I need to watch boxing to compare (legit announcers as opposed to those paid for by the promotion) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lampley and whatever color guy (usually a former boxer) that works HBO matches with him are usually pretty chatty the whole fight...Merchant, the third guy on the team, doesn't sya a whole lot, but when he does, it's usually just a bunch of garbage...so, boxing really isn't any better... Jim Ross was once a "legit", as you put it, announcer for Atlanta Falcons (I may be wrong onthe team, but I know it was some team) games so it's not like he doesn't know how to do it...selling the drama makes up a good chunk of pro wrestling...I'm not saying these guys do it well, but that's what they're trying to do...

another cool Raw visual (though someone needs to remind me how it all was setup and what it lead to) was when Shane was celebrating on top of that medal presentation stand as the confetti was falling everywhere and Angle angleslammed him off of it...one thing about Shane, that man can do a damn fine sell job, better than half the roster, IMO...

at this point, I'd believe the WWE would strap a man in a wheelchair and have him wrestle in it....a deaf guy is most certainly something I could see them do (if this story really was true)...

okay that's right, I remember now...as I've said before, from summer 2001 through WM20, I remember only bits and pieces of WWE happenings...I never watched Smackdown and only watched Raw once or twice a month... another question...2 different Kurt Angle matches: one was when he won the title and all his family came to the ring to celebrate...who did he face, what was the event? there was also a match, I believe for the title, where his brother (Eric, right?) who almost looks exactly like him, came out to help him win...opponent and event?

Triple H question...as of Summerslam 2002, there was still just one title, correct? Brock beat Rock for it at this event, right? was it the next month HHH was just given a title? didn't he LOSE the SSlam main event? good ol WWE logic dictates he was STILL the top guy, eh?
