Help identify movie for my column
Black Lushus replied to WrestlingDeacon's topic in Television & Film
Tour Of Duty was indeed a TV series...the theme song was that one by the Rolling Stones that's always associated with the Vietnam War..."Painted Black" is that the title of the song? -
I find it more amusing that we're lashing out harshly over an unofficial list...
-
no, I would not buy a PPV featuring a match between them...I have no interest in either man, their whore or the situation...not enough to shell out 35 bucks or whatever PPVs are these days...
-
nah, Orton should have won, in the grand scheme of things, it was the following month's worth of Orton booking that ruined him...
-
huge money fued...no...interesting to see...yes...
-
I'm no HHH fan, but to say he's not a good worker is plain insane...
-
^ OMG BAN PLZ~!
-
I will admit that Ewing owes a lot of success to Charles Oakley...that guy killed himself in the name of defense and could hit the outside shot from time to time...takes a lot of pressure off of Ewing...
-
Whats the point of the forum then Lushus? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude, seriously, are you picking a fight or what...read what I typed again...in Black Lushus's perfect world, everyone would agree with me...in the real world that's not the case...at what point did I question the point of a forum with that statement?
-
that woulda been okay, did they ever fued on Smackdown? I mean since they both started meaning something in the E?
-
I'm really perplexed as well...I mean the live crowd was dead, flat during the Diva search...I mean they were just gone...I think that may have been the deadest crowd I have ever seen/heard outside of Nassau Coliseum fans...yet it gets the highest ratings, holy hell! Angle and Flair need to stop busting their broken down asses then because it's apprently all for not!
-
that's what I'm saying...if Vince really wanted to 86 him, he woulda figured out someway to weasle out of that hefty contract a long time ago...
-
*shakes hands with Dark Age*
-
Dark Age, I know what you're saying, I do see your point..I saw it the last time we argued about it...but even when Val was given a lot of time, while he was a good wrestler, the E never did anything with him that actually made me care enough to watch his matches...I don't blame Val, but it's gotten to the point with him that he really doesn't need to be around anymore and if the E benefits from cutting him and saving money in that regard, then so be it, I won't shed a tear...maybe he can catch fire in TNA or ROH or somewhere and become huge, but it's just never going to happen where he's at now...
-
Okay, I'll level with ya...I'd rather see them at least TRY again with Val Venis if it means they can this worthless shit with these nameless chicks...how long was that segment? long enough to have a match and develop a character at least, no?
-
bout time you finally answered...so if Val Venis is as good or better than Triple H, why are we not seeing that? EDIT: oh and the disagree line was tossed out because, well that's typically what you tend to do when we converse, figured I'd get your ball rolling for ya!
-
I love how you always have to be that "poster that always has smart ass comments" rather than just adding to the conversation... personally, yeah I think everyone should agree...realistically, I know everyone doesn't agree... so how bout you just counter with why they SHOULDN'T be fired instead of wasting bandwidth with your clever quips...
-
never cared for either of them, never saw how they fit into anything, Stevie at least...Val was good off and on over the years, but the E just never seemed committed to him, he's dead weight at this point...Stevie, he was a fun novelty in ECW, but pretty much useless since crossing over... of course, as usual, I'm sure you'll completely disagree, right?
-
Val Venis is history, and it's about time... Maven? gonzo Simon Dean? eh, possibly... Stevie Richards? hopefully... Viscera? not a chance, he's here for awhile... Mark Henry? I kinda have a feeling they'll try one more time with him, though I have no clue why...probably because Vince hates admitting he's wrong... Nunzio? I dunno, with the Mexicools apparently being a faction, they'll need cruiserweight cannon fodder... Shannon Moore? see Nunzio... Funaki? I think the E likes this guy, oh and see Nunzio also... Kenzo? oh yeah he's toast... Renee Dupree? He's young so I think they'll keep him around, invest a little bit more into him...
-
and, as hard as it is to imagine, these chicks are tens times worse than last years chicks...
-
I'm disappointed we didn't see the closure between Nehemiah, Johanna and Danny over the whole deal...Johanna was clearly in the wrong here but I guess it's all okay? Oh, and I've had broken bones and such and i've never been as pathetic and depressed as Danny was last night...I mean he even commented he was going to use the sympathy people were giving him to his advantage...that's just lame, dude...
-
jesus, I hope they don't do a Cena/Angle fued...why bother bringing them both to Raw to carry over a Smackdown fued?
-
that may very well be the worst Summerslam ever, if that happens...yes that even includes S.Slam 93!
-
well that's just it, look at how many non-upper first round/second rounders/undrafteds make a big splash in any sport...Sam Bowie was THE guy back then, Jordan obviously eclipsed him, that's just how the sports world goes...
-
the most obvious ones were Michael Jordan and Karl Malone...wasn't Malone like 13th one year? and not to contradict my Scottie Pippen feelings, but wasn't he a late teens pick as well?
