I remember when Pit Fighter first came out, my local arcade had people lines up to play...the final boss was that direct rip off of Humongous from the Road Warrior, he had that one hit kill (he would hoist you in the air by the neck and then snap it)...then you had to face each other if it was a multiplayer game after you beat him...it also features a premise later used in Def Jam: Fight For NY with the audeince getting involved in the fight if you get too close...

I'm telling you, there will be two belts on Smackdown until GBA, at which point there will be a ladder match to determine the TRUE champion...whoever wins the 6 way will have one belt, the draft pick will follow the match at some point, perhaps right after the match and it will be one of the two Raw champions and he'll claim he's the real Smackdown champ...

yeah that's what I meant...it was boring as shit the first 50 minutes, but the fight at the end turned it around rather quickly...Johanna being fine as fuck held my interest the first 50 minutes...

what's your take on the Nehemiah/Jo situation that lead to what's his name getting dicked in the eye? The whole ordeal was total bullshit...Jo reminds me of so many chicks and guys I've known over the years, can't hold their liquor and turn into complete jackasses...Nehemiah was right to get pissed, but should have let the others know what was going on before just storming off...the other guys meant well, but good intentions don't always turn out for the best...plus, my feeling is that the people of Austin were taking exception to having Real World filmed there and wanted to fuck with the cast members, which ended up getting ugly...I kinda feel Nehemiah got the raw end of te deal, however and Jo shoulda shouldered some of the blame rather than just blow the whole thing off...

Rip, dude...come on now...all these guys that are heralded as being great defenders: Olajuwon, Ewing, O'Neal, Robinson, Malone, Barkley, etc. always give up the points when faced with equal or near equal caliber players...when Duncan and Garnett play each other, both are good defensively, correct? both still score over 20, correct?

I admit, that is one problem with this place...if you're not a going out every night to the club or bar kinda guy, there really isn't much else to do...

Again, Pippen wasn't the only contributor on those championship teams...as mediocre as the other role players would be on their own with other teams, they were all able to gel together and I really think Jordan should be given the credit for getting his team to step it up that extra notch...

i think Jordan played that way with the Wizards to try and prove the naysayers wrong, which of course he failed to do...

dude, Pippen was not the only contributor on those championship teams...he was the lucky enough small forward to be paired with Michael Jordan...if Pippen spent his career with the Cavs (just an example), he wouldn't have been what we know him to be...name me some other good small forwards and then place them in his shoes, teaming with Jordan, it would have been the same result...Jordan made those Bulls teams better with his defense, his ability to dish, not JUST his scoring...Pippen woulda just been another guy if not for being on the Bulls...
