I'm thinking WWE never had huge plans for Goldberg in the first place...more or less just milking a cash cow...wasn't he vocal even before they signed him that he wasn't huge on being a wrestler anymore? it actually makes sense to NOT invest a lot of time and effort in guy that feels that way...use him to boost a few buys, a few sales, then move him along...that's business...

HBK did an excellent job of looking lost and flustered, like "Man I can't beat this guy!"...made it seem like he was the old guard passing the torch to the new blood...I loved how at the end he showed that he really respected Shelton and new he really should not have one that match...that was the perfect example of putting a guy over without actually taking a pinfall from him...and yes, the final SCM spot was absolute sickness... unfortunantly, only folks like us appreciate that shit....casual fans tune out, for some odd reason...

why don't they just call Smackdown (or Raw I suppose) WCW Nitro, blow the dust off the old logo and merchandise, run an angle where Bischoff buys a chunk of WWE and wants to bring back the WCW legacy, etc. etc. That seems (at least to the marks) more realistic than WWE competing with WWE...

I absolutely hated Season 3...hated it...John Stevens...John Peter Lewis or whatever that goon's name was...that football player with the huge ego...boring chicks...when George Huff is your favorite, you know the season sucks... Season 2 was the best, with this season coming ins econd...

you need to keep in mind the type of people that actually watch and vote this competition...the kind of fanbase Carrie would have...Bo is a vastly superior performer, but I'm honestly surprised he's made it this far...
