I'm debating trading in my PS2 and getting a Gamecube....should I do it? I'm leaning towards it because I've grown up on Nintendo's franchise games (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.) and I kinda miss em and there's just nothing interesting out on PS2 at the moment...should I do it or is Gamecube going to be obsolete soon and I should just stick it out with my PS2...help me out folks...

why di dhe stop doing that, seems kind of lame that he doesn't do it anymore...

correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't Jericho used to place his knee in his opponent's back/back of the head while doing the Liontamer? the way it is right now it's just a boston crab...correct?

i think it was the "can't beat em, join em" philosophy...

Halle Berry Won't Return In X-Men 3

has there ever been an explanation as to why Storm has an accent in the first movie and then suddenly it's gone by X2? I forgot Richards was part of that group of science nerds with Von Doom, Banner, Stark and Pym...i guess the grey thing is what made me think 40s... -

you know what though, if White Chicks can have a decent opening, you know Catwoman will... -

i don't recognize the actor set to play Mr. Fantastic, but I do know the gal playing Sue Storm...correct me if I'm wrong because i never really dug FF, but haven't Reed and Sue always been portrayed as older characters? Sue being upper 30s and Reed being 40 or more? I don't see the logic in casting a 20 year old for Sue's role... EDIT: oh yeah, Halle Berry sucks...she's up there with Julia Roberts in overrated-ness... -
96 to 97 is my all-time favorite time period in the WWE, sure there were mediocre wrestlers but the Austin/Hart fued, the HBK/Hart fued and the Austin/HBK frenemies thing were more than enough to keep the promotion going considering how bad WCW eventually botched the nWo invasion angle...as far as im concerned, after 97, the nWo thing went downhill...

Robocop had a bit more gore, teh scene where ED-209 malfunctions and kills that company guy and the scene where Murphy is blown apart...

i'm a broke-ass n*gga... Then get another job. eh that's too hard when the wife works nights and you have a kid and no babysitting help...but thanks for the advice... i think i will probably just sac up and splurge on a Gamecube as a secondary system and keep my PS2, i'll just get a used one and a few games...thanks for all your help and info fellas...

my problem with Xbox is that I've heard more negatives than positives...maybe I'm hearing incorrectly? i'm not currently set-up for online play and it seems most XBox games are geared towards that, whereas you can go either or with PS2 games...

wasn't his real name Tony Norris or something like that? Perhaps that's why they called him Big T and I'm quite certain Ahmed Johnson was a WWE licensed name anyway... Sorry for bringing up the "racial" thing, but as a black wrestling fan, I had high hopes for this man when he came onto the scene in 95 and kicked BUTT through the first half of 96...when he returned to WCW in 2000 I was happy, but then I saw what he became and wrote him off for good...his intensity definantly made up for his ring work and mic skills (Ultimate Warrior pre-1992, anyone?), but being injury-prone and also causing injuries to others brought him down...being out of the spotlight too many times because of the injuries killed his crowd love...

i'm mostly a sports, RPG and fighter guy...i dabble in the GTAs and the occassional platformer or first-person shooter...i guess PS2 is where it's at RPG-wise and every console gets sports title so I may as well stick with what I have...besides MSG3 and GTA: San Andreas DO look promising...

what's interesting with Royal Rumbles and Battle Royals is seeing a battle between two superstars who would normally never wrestle. It was usually maybe a quick two minute battle but it would kick ass and the crowd would mark out hard for it...unfortunantly management would never capitalize on those matches when it's obvious the crowd loves it and give us more...i'll have to go back and look at old tapes, but im sure i can find examples unless someone can beat me to it... the World Wars sucked, but I did like the one where it was down to Nash, Hall, Syxx and Big Show against Booker T, Rey Mysterio, Jeff Jarrett, Stephen Regal, Lex Luger and DDP (this was when the nWo was hot and DDP was potentially going to join them)...i think that's who it was anyway, the crowd was pretty hot for that last 5 minute spurt...i believe Big Show ended up winning this thing and lead up to him getting booted out of the nWo, please correct me if I'm wrong on this, my WCW history is hazier than my WWE history...

if you're digging that Greatest Hits CD, do yourself a favor and pick up all their CDs, there are tons of awesome songs that didn't make the greatest hits cut...they are worth the money...

well let's put it this way, you'd be a fool if you think HHH will NOT be in this match, whether it's one on way, 3 way, 4 wya etc...

Dust N' Bones and Pretty Tied Up are good Izzy tunes as well...i think the only non-Izzy tune I really dug was Locomotive...though I'm sure I can think of more if I look back at the liner notes...

yeah, Doc Ock's story seemed a little rushed to me...they could have lumped another 20 minutes onto this one, it didn't seem to drag as much as the first one did, especially since we didn't have to go through Spider-Man's origin. more time could have been focused on Ock's origin...

Axl is one of the better frontmen in decades, so that alone is a strong selling point for me, but as i've said several times before, Izzy wrote most of the GNR tunes that I dug the most so hopefully they were able to compensate for him not being there...i'm not holding my breath, but i will be one of the first ones there to pick Chinese Democracy up in 2010, or whenever it's coming out...
