I actually liked Hostage to, but super killer was just too much for me...I mean, he was taking guys out Navy SEAL style!

Savage was beyond Honky and the IC title at that point. He was ready for the world championship run...and this way, Hogan doesn't have to do the job. Also, I would imagine Hogan felt he was too far above DiBiase to do a PPV level match with him. SNME? Sure. Not a PPV, though.

I don't HATE Marlon Wayans, but that casting is REALLY bugging me right now. I don't know why, it just does. Ah well, what am I expecting? Saving Private Ryan? This will be on par with movies like Armageddon. Lots of explosions and special effects, plenty of overly-macho cliched one liners and horrible overacting.

I read the majority of them, stopped rigth after the war in Trucial Abysma. One memorable moment was when Dusty carried his friend all the way back to camp only to find it he had died along the way.

I agree...it's time to give the Japs what for. They could start the game with you as a naval officer during the Pearl Harbor attack...tell me that wouldn't be super-intense. If they can make D-Day intense on COD2, imagine what Pearl Harbor could be like.

I don't know, personally I enjoyed the bombing mission in COD4...I was thinking somemthing along those lines. There's no WAY they make a game where we can play as Charlie.

Hollywood is all about not putting the USA above all else, so the change doesn't surprise me at all. Can't have the US looking all big and bad, now...still doesn't make it any less annoying.

Well, they're going for the "team made up of international operatives" approach as opposed to "Real American Hero", so casting Adewale makes sense. Since Heavy Duty is a little known Joe, other than knowing he's black, I can see why they went with that role instead. Casting him as Roadblock would have been absolutely unacceptable and I think the producers realized it.
