    Golf Thread - August

It's obviously early, but I'm intrigued by the group at 3-under, currently leading: Monty, Garcia, and Rich Beem.

Why do guests look at the most bizarre things

He's an infinitely better poster than I am. Notice his versatility in the sports folder, and his far fewer drunken posts. This raises a question: Do you notice avatars more than signatures?

Darryl Katz's bid to buy the Oil has been turned down.

    Pictures I Like

He's on his own here. And yes, we'd get raped in a war. One of our first troops to go down? NOT VAL VENIS!

oAo Monday Night Raw Thread -- 8/6/2007

I'm sure it's wishful thinking, but does Umaga as a face = Armando return? Fuck, I hope so. It might be because I was there live, but I was pretty entertained by Raw tonight.

Anyone see the irony in this? Fuck, I hate that loudmouth Sabbattini.

    This Week in Baseball 8/6 - 8/12

You know, at this point I'm just hoping they're in the race with a legitimate shot at getting in. Even if they don't make it, it'd be nice to see some meaningful September baseball. Spot on. The 'race to get into second place' last year just didn't cut it as meaningful.

    Golf Thread - August

This was in 2001. Incidentally, the only time the Bridgestone wasn't at Firestone was in 2002, when it was moved to Sahalee, outside of Seattle. Craig Parry was the winner. It also hosted the 98 PGA, which Vijay won. From what I remember, Sahalee was supposed to get the 2010 PGA as well, but Whistling Straits worked out a deal where they'd get the 2010 PGA and Ryder Cup(can't recall which year), and Sahalee would host the first major on the Champions Tour that Fred Couples would be involved in.

Before opening the thread, I thought you meant, like, visitors to your house always examined your knick-knacks and such.

As a non-Leaf fan, I would also not like to see it.

    You Favorite Alcohol

Conversely to Mike, I drink basically beer and no other liquor. I make Tootsie Rolls (oj/creme de cacao) or screwdrivers at a Christmas party I attend every year, but other than that, very seldom will I have anything that's not beer.

Though it's the third time it's been rumoured, sounds like MLSE is trying to sign on Bowman as their president. Bowman denies it, but Sportsnet News says they should have an answer by Thursday or Friday.

    Happy birthday CanadianGuitarist

I'm sure there'll be many after the end of tonight, especially if Krissy's coming. Shameless groping to ensue. Which do I look like in that second picture? And my chili does not include jalapenos.

    Nah, fuck it.

    Guitar Hero.

I got off my couch and did a Tiger Woods fist pump upon 5-starring, in succession, Woman, and Crazy On You, on Hard. Crazy on you had dogged me for a while, but I was trying Woman for about 3 months. Eight songs to 5-star left to go on Hard.

That's a door? Put me down for the looking at people in public. I'm pretty boisterous around people I know, which is remarkable considering how shy I am at first. Interestingly, I'm really good at a smile and greeting when at Wal*Mart, however. Three-metre rule. I'm also not very photogenic unless I'm drunk. I have a rough time forcing a smile sober.

Wrestlers You Like as Wrestlers But Dislike as People?

I wholeheartedly agree with Celtic Jobber.

What was your first ever post

RedBaron hooked me up with a login name and password, which I'm not sure how he wound up with. My first post was a stance against the Iraq war. I used the name for about a week before I realised I wasn't a big enough Alice In Chains fan to have a username of Jar of Flies, and came up with something more appropriate. As for my first CG post,

What do you completely and utterly suck at?

I'ma take the easy way out and say drawing. Guy stuff to some extent. Hand me most basic tools (and this applies to cars as well), and I'll be able to identify what it is and what they do. Tell me to go to work, and I'm fucked.

Good to see you're on my side with the Fully Completely/Up To Here. Two of my friends and I have been arguing that for about six years, and my ex (coincidence) took their side.

    Orange Coke

I bought a container of orange milk a few weeks ago, and it turned out to be fantastic. I think this'll be the same.

    NHL Offseason - 2007

That sounds alright. White for home before the All-Star break, colours for post All-Star break up until the playoffs. Yeah, I like that. Sean Avery was awarded 1.9 mil per year by an arbitrator. That's roughly 25% more than the league average, which makes sense since Avery has a 200% bigger mouth than the league average.
