Hamilton? The fuck?

I still think an upconverting DVD player is the way to go for now, and forseeably for two or three years still. Since they can pretty well be picked up for $100 or less, that's not really a wasted investment.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

When I was six years old, I lived down the street from my friend Graham Penny, who had a staggering amount of NES games (and quite frankly, an amount that would probably make me sick if I saw a six-year-old with as many games today). His parent's licence plate was NES*465. For about a year, I thought that it was done on purpose by the Licence Bureau. It had never occured to me that it was just a coincidence. -
We're in the midst of clearing out our old TV's and bringing new ones in, but they layout of TV size and models, etc., has drastically changed. As such, only one of the 15 or 20 HD models we carry is running in HD, everything else is just running off coax. I've been bitching for a week over it (it'll likely be a month before the guys from Bell come to rewire everything) but I still have had to explain to several customers now that what they're watching isn't really HD, and the picture they receive from home is going to be MUCH better. I hope I don't sound too cynical, I mean, I could likely say something equally silly if I were an ignorant customer in, say, a florist. It's just surprising to me how willing people have been and are to fork over several hundred dollars, or even four figures, without knowing too much about what they're getting into.

I'll be there. I'm not as excited as I thought I would be (no Armando to love, no HBK to hate), but I'm still stoked.

Anyone recall Shake and Bag Fries from McDonald's? A buddy of mine may go to war over them.....I don't recall them even a little.
-
Slayer's Box has returned.
-
^ I've never seen or heard of it (or I don't recall so), but that's fucking awesome.

Holy shit! Indeed. I came across that too, whilst searching for answers to this question. Pretty interesting story, actually. There was a thread, also, about the other hypothetical (the one not posed by Czech), 'How many 5-year-olds could you beat up?'

(CG, what do the Titans have to do with the Predators?) I'm of the school of thought a team is more likely to be succesful financially if they're the only show in town. Had the Titans not played in Nashville (which I eluded to), it would have added to my case.
-
I say jersey. But that doesn't make Czech wrong. I was kind of surprised to hear they were going to be sold, although the subsequent idea of the sale of the Bucks to Leopold kind of puts it into perspective. It's kind of hard to believe they weren't doing so well financially, wasn't it? I mean, Nashville doesn't reek of 'hockey roots', but they put a pretty complete team on the ice, with lots of components to success. They had some marquee players in Kariya and Vokoun, and Leopold's playoff guarantee the year before the lock-out seemed to me he was serious about building a winner. Where do the Titans play? If it's Nashville (although I thought it was somewhere else), my final case is blown to pieces.

I'm intrigued to see this new colour scheme, especially the part of it that will make owners' think twice' about their current axe. I don't particularly want to buy a new bundle if the disc on its own is available.

There's really no reason for him to be climbing these stairs. He's just sort of there. The 'grunt, turn around' theory is kind of flawed. This point is going to begin to turn things in circles, but what's down the stairs that's so much better? Incidentally, I emailed an alligator handler from a farm in Florida to settle things.

Go Sens, but I'm seeing a Ducks win in 7.

May 3-6: Wachovia Championship, Quail Hollow CC, Charlotte (Jim Furyk) May 10-13: Players Championship, TPC at Sawgrass, Ponta Vedre Beach, Florida (Stephen Ames) May 17-20: AT&T Classic, TPC at Sugarloaf, Atlanta (Phil Mickelson) May 24-31: Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, Colonial CC, Dallas (Tim Herron) May 31-June 1: the Memorial Tournament by Morgan Stanley, Muirfield Village, Dublin, Ohio (Carl Pettersen). How long has the BellSouth been called the AT&T? And the fact that 'the Memorial' starts with a lowercase 'T' has always kinda bugged me. Also, no one posted that Lorena Ochoa took over Annika in the women's rankings.

They're curretnly celebrating their 100th anniversary. Red Pop is awesome. Hell yes it was! And I recall it being ridiculously cheap, something like 3L for a buck and a half?
-
I had him in my 2004 pool (his rookie year) after a fine year on the Nationwide in 2003. The Golf Channel put together a list of his peers who thought he was the next big thing. He won his first year on tour, also in Atlanta.

Are you planning on kidnapping an alligator to prove/disprove this? Or is this just a poll thing? Just a hypothetical. I'm neither quick, nor stealth, so my kidnapping abilities would be pretty minimal, certainly on something bigger and stronger than me. The fuck is a Dalek?
-
Yes! That'd be way better than anything else posted, had Homer Simpson not got caught in a vending machine of it.
-
Yeah it was. It wasn't anything unique or spectacular, just good pizza.
-
Although I'm sure it's still available, I haven't had Faygo in about 10 years. I'll leave this one to Carnival, however.
-
Your winner. Apart from "The Winnipeg Arena's gonna be on fire", nothing on my MSN has ever attracted so much attention.
-
Im sure this'll sound like a cover-up....I just meant it because she was probably our most prominent poster after Czech.

2007 NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS - ROUND THREE

The fuck? I left dinner with my family and it was 3-0 Sabres. I get home and it's 3-2? Fill me in, Double C. -
My God, co-op Guitar Hero is addicting. Baron and I played for over an hour yesterday, some for fun, some to try and obtain achievements. Even when we'd fuck up a note and have to start over on the "100% co-op achievement" it was still fun.
