2007 Stanley Cup playoffs - second round
CanadianGuitarist replied to CanadianChris's topic in Sports
Agreed. Sens in 6 btw. QFT, but I'll elabourate on the Heatley thing. This is exactly what I wrote for the paper I wrote for in college. "The Snyders have forgiven Heatley. Who are we to condemn him?" Can justice be served if no one is crying out for it? No. Have I ever met Dany Heatley? No. Am I certain he is a better person than say, Bernardo or Charles Manson, who have been well-established as cold-blooded killers? Yes. Heatley still has to live with himself knowing he killed a friend. Let him be. -

With my genitals on the line, Apatosaurus and Brontosaurus were the same thing. It said so in a book my grandmother had (when I was 10) called The Jeopardy Challenge. Wasn't Bracchiosaurus the biggest? I suppose it could be the same thing. Edit: I hope no one wants my genitals! Wikipedia said "popularly known, though incorrectly" Double edit: The dinosaur genus originally known as Brontosaurus is now officially designated Apatosaurus. Also from Wikepdia. Let's all keep our junk. -

I did this a STAGGERING number of times whilst drunk at the bar this weekend. Fun fact, and not to detract from Hoff, about 2 months ago, I told a girl from the office that she sounded like an elephant when she blew her nose. She proceeded to mimic my walk. Then she proceeded to walk like a (we think) closet homo we work with, who walks like a T-Rex. And it's not just the little arms. She walked with little arms, roaring noises, and a waddle! Good times. Is a T-Rex the same as an Allosaurus? The only one I remember was Apotosaurus = Brontosaurus. -
Yeah, that's still fucked up.

Top 5 people in the wrestling world

Interesting. Couple guys, outside of Cornette, I don't think we'll see listed, but all certainly worthy. That being said, I don't know who Gabe Sapolsky is. -

1) Bret, just because I'm a mark for him. 2) Owen. I'm also a mark for him, but he also seemed like a unique combination of a practical joker and a classy guy. 3) Patterson, for reasons previously stated. 4) Jericho. Always struck me as being pretty down to earth, like a buddy you'd bring to a bar with you. 5) Tie between Edge and Christian. They both seem pretty similar to their characters from what I've seen. I think Cornette would be fascinating, but anyone with that much energy would probably wear me out awfully quickly. Additional honourable mention to Foley and Jake Roberts. -

I think that's fair, and in fact, I did a column my second year of college defending him, but, and I hope this doesn't sound to shitty, he's got a lot to prove this spring. Boy, you're not kidding. He doesn't have any more excuses. I'm hoping he won't need any. Judging by his recent play, it doesn't look like it, but we'll see. CC and I had this back-and-forth about a year ago. We can officially remove any tag from Heatley, I think. -
Hires is where it's at....though I haven't found a can since I was probably ten years old.

Isn't classy and not The Queens any more?

Baron can vouch for this. When the subject came up for the third's location, I suggested moving it to somewhere better. (Baron agreed). We were flatly told "No. Seeing everyone get sick is the best part".

The lack of progression in YTA's post (and the fact it was a fake number) are nullified by the Fonz.

2007 Stanley Cup playoffs - second round

And that should do it for this game. Josh Green high-sticked Selanne. He bled. 5 on 3 for thirty seconds, then close to 4 minutes of power play. Edit: The powerplay is offset by, of all things, too many men on the ice for Anaheim. Double edit: I take back the 'that should do it for this game'. I've only been casually watching/typing amongst doing dishes. I thought I heard Hughson say the game, not theseries was 2-1 Anaheim. -

I agree with all of these, and I'll underline the Lidstrom comment. But I'll say Crosby for Pearson and Luongo for Hart. -
Baron and I will be participating in the Third Annual King of the Wing, a wing-eating contest that my buddies and I partake in on Monday's All You Can Eat. It usually gets ugly.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm a big fan of VX, but I don't like the sounds of this. -
Huh? Wacky Wings. And I will never ever be convinced boneless wings are not chicken fingers, breaded or otherwise.

Who's Jagr bomb? Banky? -
In the incident in question? Yes. You were right to correct that train wreck, but given the circumstances, prolly shoulda let it slide. Overall? Nope. Shake it off, bro.

There's a place in the Falls I've been meaning to try; Claims to have over 100 varieties of wings, such as maple and dill pickle. I'd like to go for the sake of going, but I doubt if anything there would be good enough to replace good old Buffalo Wings.

There's actually quite a bit of big game experience on the Sharks, though it's easy to miss as a first glance. Guerin's won a Cup, Rivet's won a World Championship, Thornton and Marleau both have World Cups. -

I tried to guess which year the Plante goal was before clicking the 'additional info'. My guess was 99. I was wrong. And I marked the fuck out over Randy Cunneyworth. Also, I'm a fucking retard over my inability to process 5-2-1 earlier. -

What am I missing here? Though my mind is mush from an hour of Guitar Hero.
