And NoCal, the pineapple pork was god damned delicious. How much difference does the pork make? I used ground pork instead of what you called for.

Could I hook up my standard cable to this LCD tv?
CanadianGuitarist replied to a topic in Technology
I doubt you'd be able to directly hook your cable into the monitor itself....however, it did describe use as TV as well. You'll likely need a 15-pin VGA cable. EDIT: That's what I get for responding with out reading the whole thing. Component and composite in, so provided you have a source, like a digital cable box or satellite receiver, the second will work. -
Overlooked Henrik Stenson prevents an Ogilvy repeat. Keep your eyes on this guy. He's already been in the Ryder Cup, and the World Top Ten. And Freddy Funk, for the second time past the age of 50, wins on tour at the inagural Mayokaba in Mexico.

Oh what the hell, I'll share mine. I'd been leaking it here and there for a bit. Fry up two pounds of ground beef and drain them. Fry up three medium-size Italian sausages( Schneider's Grill-Em are perfect, although Maple-Leaf pre-cooked breakfast sausages will also do well). Cut them up so they're about the size of a pinch of ground beef. Toss them in a slow cooker, then add (though, as I incorrectly told Vitamin X, order isn't important)... One and a half cups of water. One can of tomato sauce (the thicker, the better) One can of tomato soup One can of red kidney beans Mix a quarter cup of Buffalo Wing Sauce with a quarter cup of BBQ sauce. One half-bottle of beer. Tempting as it is, don't add the full bottle. I cheap out and buy the pre-made chili powder, one packet is generally enough. A few variables you can add are diced tomatoes, baked beans (canned will do the trick), and Manwich (or sloppy joe seasoning). Stir everything like hell, slow cook on low for about six hours. Feeds 3-4. ------------------------------------ I'm going to try the bacon and/or brown sugar next time as well, they both sound pretty good. Marvin, what's the spoiler ingredient? I'm bold.

Wikipedia is garbage
CanadianGuitarist replied to Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye's topic in General Chat
I had thought about that in the PGA Thread, but figured it'd get turned into a 97 Masters discussion. -
Scott Morrison said on Satellite Hotstove yesterday that this turned out to be not true. After mulling his options for a bit, Tkachuk has agreed to waive his no-trade clause, and looks like he's headed to the Thrashers as well.

Zhitnik has been traded to the Thrash, with the Flyers getting Braydon Coburn in return.

It's astonishing that LRTS isn't on the TSM wiki. You could realistically be called a pioneer.

Yes. 2004 was the first year to implement GameFace, and the series has only got better (save 2006's 360 edition). It's a shame the online is so half-assed, but offline play is one of the deepest games I've ever played, they finally (for the most part) made scores realistic on the hardest setting (it's nice to win a tournament at -10 instead of -50). The one thing I've always wanted was a little better GameFace, in the sense that saving only four profiles and having to switch back and forth is kind of cumbersome. I'd love to see a nationality and Ryder/President's Cup mode, and maybe even a Nationwide Tour/Q-School option.

I have an idea for a show about a European composer secretly visiting India without getting caught. It's called Haydn Sikh. Best yet.

My remote is getting a good workout tonight. My satellite offers nine different CBC's, and I've been back and forth between all three Eastern Canadian teams. Huge game in Montreal against the Islanders. Edit: Disregard the Hab thing, it's not on my tv. I'm sure none of you were that worried about it, but tv bragging can easily turn into a dick-measuring contest. Double edit: Fuck! Afternoon game, I forgot all about it. 3-2 loss. Both with 70 points.

Austin vs Bret Michaels vs Taker -
When one program clearly creates a new star
CanadianGuitarist replied to humanoid92's topic in General Wrestling
Yes. It wasn't nearly on the level of elevation it gave to Bret or Austin, of course, but still. However, my previous response was due to a bit of a discrepancy between the opening post and the topic title. If we're discussing which programs made new stars, as the title states, then unquestionably Bret-Austin qualifies. If it's based on the opening post, which discusses more about which stars made new stars, then I think what I said an hour ago holds true. -
Based on what I previously posted, "dumbshit religion"is pretty borderline. Alas, Boon's not offended by it, so I have nothing to defend, nor have you anything to apologise for. Disregard.

I'd say even Bret/Austin is debatable, as all three guys in that match came away with something. -
QFT. Your beliefs are just as valid as anyone else's on religion Czech. It doesnt make Boon wrong if you don't agree with him. There's validity to every religious belief to some degree, since religion, is, simply, a series of beliefs. Mormons were the correct answer.

How about Ames, knocking off Vijay? He had never played the 13th hole (or further) in this tournament until yesterday. ^ With the top eight gone, look for a lot of guys to be called Giant Killers (re: Tiger) over the next few days. You may want to mute this afternoon's match between him and O'Hern.

No. Too soon.
-
Bret's heel turn gets my nod. Don't forget the first word in my and Chris' names.
-
Do you mean the Raw where Austin beat up Bret in the ambulance? That's the only thing along those lines I recall.
-
FUCK YES! I turned NHL radio on, the Habs get the win over the Preds. Halak stops Peter fucking Forsberg to end the shooutout.
-
Did every fucking game go into overtime tonight? The OLGC must have lost a tonne of money on Pro*Line. Habs ties it up late and I've got Score Tonight on to keep up.....Isles win in shootout, ditto for the Sabres, Pens, Canes and Bolts.

Mankind's title win at #16? Jesus' return better have been on a Raw that I missed.

Two or three huge games in the East, in addition to the home-and-home mentioned by CC above. The Isles and Leafs have another tilt, and they're tied for ninth and tenth. The winner is guaranteed to move ahead of Montreal for seventh by virtue of games played, but Carolina has a chance to leapfrog both teams with a win over the Flyers. All six Canadian teams play tonight.
