Fuck, when did that happen? I saw 3-1 for the Sens with eight to play in the second, but only had been casually watching the ticker during Smackdown. Tucker scores his 16th tonight, with 20 to play at the Verizon Center. He's now one behind the league lead, ahead of *brace yourself* Jagr, Thornton, St. Louis, Briere, Afigenov, Iginla, Naslund, Forsberg, well, you get the idea. Everyone but Shanny at this point. I'll go fucking ballistic if his season total is anything more than half of the names just mentioned. No score in Buffalo. Outshot 12-6 in the first, were the Sabres. Whatever Guy mentioned during the second period Wednesday resonated...

Morrison's nothing without Naslund and Bertuzzi....so there you go. 6-1 Leafs through two (!)

Did we not learn anything from Star Ocean's preview Tuesday?

So in case they weren't hated enough around the league, the Leafs have loaned their likenesses to a movie in production...a comedy about a gay ex-Leaf who's dating a current team lawyer. The couple wants to adopt a child. I'm sure this will endear the Leafs on road trips in hot-beds of openmindedness like Raleigh and Atlanta. On the other hand, there may finally be some base to the over-used insult of "Toronto Make-Me-Laughs"

So Barron is getting married
CanadianGuitarist replied to CanadianGuitarist's topic in No Holds Barred
Do I have a stalker(s)? - I had a conversation today at work at almost the exact time Polkaroo made a post. Said conversation was about Polkaroo, and how we "missed him again". That was eerie as fuck. - The Slayer thing a few weeks ago, where he remembered the emoticons in my early days of posting, and how I (not very much) look like David Cross. Edit: It was probably actually about 15 minutes later(the Polkaroo conversation). -
Refute this statement and I'll tear you a new asshole
CanadianGuitarist replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in Television & Film
That quote there will be the one that best sums the title of this topic. That quote is so absolutely fact that it's absolutely ir-refutable. -
So Barron is getting married
CanadianGuitarist replied to CanadianGuitarist's topic in No Holds Barred
Yeah, I meant they could fight back the best. History may disagree with me as I look further into it, however. -
QFT. I didn't mind him, but I can see how he would get under the skin of others.

Neccessary hippie "It's Buy Nothing Day" post.

Yeah, this was prolly the worst of the lot. They certainly don't hold up, but I had a tonne of fun playing Attitude, ECW Hardcore Revultion and and ECW Anarchy Rulz.

No one's over 6 feet. Max may tear me a new asshole for this, but if Boston's D does nothing else(insert joke here), they can take care of Buffalo forwards. Maybe no Boston. But, as Baron eluded to a month ago....Beat they physically, outlast them physically. No team in the league can beat Buffalo on skill.

We certainly can when said game didn't have the reigning Richard winner playing. His rival for that trophy last year, Jaromir Jagr, became Europe's all-time NHL goal leader last night. Did Selanne score in the Anaheim rout? He's only three away from 500....with 1/7th of that coming in his rookie year(I really like that stat for some reason). A more appropriate thing to say would have been "I'm looking forward to what will, no-doubt, be a great game in SoCal tonight"...or even "This game may well be one of the most exciting we'll see this year".

Mel Gibson... Now Kramer??!!
CanadianGuitarist replied to The Niggardly King's topic in Television & Film
You took the time to figure that out? I have to tip my cap to that. -
Fuck, Scuba, beat me to it by about five minutes. My first instinct as soon as I saw Max's pic was, indeed, the flaming ship from the oil spill when you mathematically eliminated me thanks to Chris Simon's OT goals. Bastard. 2-0 Rangers with 30 to play. Shanny has taken the league lead in goals.

Star Ocean is taking a page from the 1991 WWF.

So who stinks up the bathroom in your house?
CanadianGuitarist replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Chat
So I was sent to another Wal*mart to work overnights last night, in a store across the region. Never met the 40 or 50 people I worked with until last night. Disgusted them all with a few bombs I dropped, thanks to having consumed literally nothing but beer, chili and fast food for three days at that point. It hit me then: The level of digust must be measured by whether or not it grosses the farter out. My God, I was too grossed out by myself to take pride in what I'd done. Now that it's in retrospect, I am feeling pride like a father would feel. -
Mel Gibson... Now Kramer??!!
CanadianGuitarist replied to The Niggardly King's topic in Television & Film
That was a good post. Your signature, however, tripled its effectiveness. -
Star, even if you did say "yet", a simple use of your bold tool would have been just as effective as quoting yourself four or five times.

I think I'm more excited over Calgary-Edmonton, though not by much.
-
Goals aplenty tonight. 7-2 Buffalo, 5-2 Pens, 4-1 Sens. Outside of Nashville/Columbus, every game has at seen at least five netted. And to think, I was a little worried when I picked Buffalo to win by two tonight.

I really, really, really wanted to be the first to post what Czech and BL said. Next time. Almost every American I serve in the Wal*Mart I work at is astounded that we're not 24 hours. However, one of the two in St. Kitts(where I live, a city of 125,000) is open for 24 hours this Xmas. This is the first I've ever been privy to in my region.

FOX News planning right-leaning show similar to Daily Show
CanadianGuitarist replied to DerangedHermit's topic in Current Events
Agreed, but the left-leaning is definitely more present. I remember them saying a few years ago "We get talked about as being a pretty liberal show, but look who's in charge" -
So, Princess Leena is getting married
CanadianGuitarist replied to geniusMoment's topic in No Holds Barred
None shall pass. As Baron pointed out...I don't care for his hockey team. Even so, my advice is, also, to be like Nskie if you can. -
KKK, I think we dealt with this earlier in the year, but even if we did, I'm not positive I remember: How do EP's work with ties? For example (and it's a pretty fine example): By my math, my opponent and I are tied with three wins a piece. His Tiebreaker score is 28. That should give him the win, right, since I should be dq'd for not having submitted a number?
