So, GM's meetings today discuss the scheduling. It'll never happen, but the only way to balance the schedule is to use latitude as a geographical divider instead of longitude. Say, six teams in five divisions. That way there's no one team playing in another zone more often than another. My chain of teams moving (also pretty far-fetched) eventually broke down. Say, Dallas into the central. Columbus to the NorthEast, Boston to the Pacific....Try it - always breaks down. I can hear the chortles now, but my first idea was the best (albeit most unlikely) stab I could take at solving the divisional woes.

bob barron: what celebrities are gay?
CanadianGuitarist replied to Annabelle's topic in No Holds Barred
What, Reginald? Nah. More white than gay. -
Provided New England doesn't score 13.5 in the next six minutes, I move to 500, and dont have to hope for Oakland to bail me out tomorrow.

Chiu? I just broke the news to him..he's denying, I'm laughing. "Doogie Howser just stole our fucking car! And took it to the bathhouse!" Sometimes those director's cuts are pretty in-depth.

Wait, what? Its true. If you check out Have a Nice Day, it tells a story during his early career about how a promoter was talking with him about his Cactus Jack gimmick. He asks Foley where he's from, and he responds with Bloomington. Promoter says that the home town won't work kayfabe wise so they bill him from Truth or Consequences. Not that it has perfect credibility, but Wikipedia has Bloomington listed as well. I remember him saying that in Have a Nice Day....Didnt he just stammer a town because the ring announcer asked where Cactus Jack would be from?

Not only that, but By God, Harry Neale was right. Rough em up. The Sabres are small, especially up front. Roy, Briere, Drury are all under six feet. But, they've certainly shaken it off, as they came back late AGAIN, beating the Rangers 4-3 in a shootout.

102 Reasons Why Chris Jericho is better.....
CanadianGuitarist replied to RonL21's topic in General Wrestling
It was THAT AWESOME. QFT. How many times have you seen armbar? -
Wait, what?

Fair. Don't forget that New Jersey always beats us in the regular season. The Devils are our Senators.

I agree, KGB. Baron, Raycroft did not bail out Toronto. Outshooting Buffalo 17-4 in the second hardly classifies as team in need of bailing out. That said, Raycroft did have some nice point blank saves late.

102 Reasons Why Chris Jericho is better.....
CanadianGuitarist replied to RonL21's topic in General Wrestling
As an Edgehead, these reasons are why Jericho is good: 34) Library of Congress 35) Three handled moss-covered family credenza 36) Bore-us Malenko 37) Arm-bar! 38) Canadian Blondes -
Both TSN.ca and The Score were pretty liberal with their use of MacT's quote of "retarded". I can't be the only one who found that surprising.

Bah. I'm no Leafs fan (while I don't hate them), but I'm already sick of Sabres fans. Said a Sabres fan buddy of mine, when I called him on his sudden love of them: "Well, they sucked a year ago! Why would I bother paying attention to them?" Buffalo is 2 for fucking 28 on the powerplay recently. Ottawa was 6 for 64 going into tonight, and while I only saw updates on HNIC, it doesnt sound like that improved.

Atlanta Cincinnati Dallas Buffalo N.Y. Giants St. Louis Chicago New Orleans Jacksonville Minnesota Cleveland Denver Indianapolis - I just feel this one. I'm not sure why. Oakland - See my "awwwwwww what the hell" theory of last week. If it had been 6.5, I would have taken Seattle, but the 7.5 does mean a little buffer zone. St Louis scores 24. Good luck, all.

Which eventually became "Don't call me Red Light".

Available in any amount you want, from $5 to $2500 dollars. Think about that for a second.

We got a very similar pamphlet and FAQ list as to what was just posted. The quote above is damn near verbatim what I'd been telling customers who were astonished at the price. I think the Wii is really going to dominate with that in mind. That said, even with Sony's previously shitty hardware, what's included really is a bargain. One thing about that doesn't sit well with me, however, and I'm sure it's been discussed many times by now: If a Blu-Ray currently runs at about 1000 bones, how poor would the one that's included in the $500 PS3? Also, I didn't see this discussed. They've really been hyping up Wi-Fi...I assume it still has ethernet ports?

Misc. from Thursday: - Buffalo has reclaimed the league lead in points from Anaheim with their win tonight. - Carolina being shutout tonight prevented Brind Amour from getting point #1,000. He's quietly fifth in league points, though. - It's a day old, but Calgary (!) is tied for the league's cellar. - Your division leaders: Buffalo, Atlanta, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Anaheim, Minnesota. May the word parity never be misused again.

I've yet to see a fair report of this. The right is lining up to defend PM Stephen Harper and Finance Minister Jim Flaherty, and the left have been taking pot shots at them. Amidst all of this, I don't know what the hell is going on. I don;t know a thing about investing or the applicable taxes. The jist of what happened, I understand, is that tax rules were re-written as it goes to investments and income trusts? Basically....who wants to help me learn about investing, and why Wednesday's decision effected investing so drastically?

Can anyone help me out with the latest
CanadianGuitarist replied to CanadianGuitarist's topic in Current Events
I heard this a lot during the last 24 hours. You can see how I'd be jaded. But investments dropping by 50% yesterday? The dollar losing close to a whole cent? The sky's probably not falling, but you can see my overwhelmedness. -
Ok, i'll let my drunkenness subside for two discussion related topics: 1) A well-known Quebec lawyer is pleading with his province's Parliament to allow a Quebec vs. Canada best of three, with the winner getting into the 2008 Worlds. This strategy did nothing for Bloc Leader Gilles Duceppe last winter during the campaign, and I suspect it'll be forgotten two days from now, especially with players like Lecavalier and Brodeur downplaying it. Discuss as you see fit. 2) There's been a lot of talk on TV and radio about Nonis' anti-schedule rant Monday. What's the answer? I had two thoughts, both of which don't work out. Is there an answer? My two: 1) Three conferences of ten teams. An all eastern time zone conference, an all central, and a half-west/half-pacific. Granted, this can be adjusted to suit the lack of geography I just described, but that only gets back to the root of the problem. Plus, it re-inforces the problem of seeing the same teams. Does eight games between, say Ottawa and Toronto really develop a rivalry? Ontario might be a bad example, but I don't necessarily hate, say, Buffalo, despite playing them a fistful of times a season. I'm certainly not going to hate, say, Washington if I see them on my TV screen ten times a year. 2) Make the East and West conference akin to baseball's American and National League. Ultimately, this doesn't solve the problem of time zone inefficiency, and would make it even less likely for fans in Edmonton or Dallas to see Crosby or Ovechkin? Even if they adopted the alternate draft rule that basbeall has, can Chicago or Phoenix wait two or three years for a maruqee player to develop? Ultimately, is Nonis fucked? Discuss.

*re fucking neges* Tie game in Beantown with 90 seconds left. EDIT: Sabres win in a shootout. My payout makes having to listen to Rick Jenarette tolerable.

67 fucking dollars I bet on Buffalo. 4-2 Bruins with six to play. Mark this day on your calenders, gents (and Leena), never has a Mullen been so down about a Sabres loss. 4-0 Habs with five to play! Blues, Hawks, Isles and Panthers are up as well. It's a bonanza for those who list Rudy as their favourite movie.

Fuck that. Avery doesn't even deserve the attention. The Cherry tangent you described will likely happen though, however. It'll be a sad fucking day if Sean Avery is even regarded slightly as the face of anything Canadian, even briefly.
